    Unlocked phone allows you to uninstall bloat. However you will miss out on key features like wifi calling, HD voice or volte. But still a good phone overall without the frills.

    So far so good. Pretty big phone and still fast. Screen is nice and big. Camera performance is generally good. Not sure all 5 cameras are needed but doesn't hurt to have.

    Only downsides for me is 1) The Google button is not necessary since voice commands are an option. It gets in the the way. 2) I wish it had an LED indicator light for notifications and charging, 'cause I don't always hear it. Other than that, great product. Got OS updates right away w/in a couple days. BIG plus.

    Have an iPhone XS Max and this phone compares to it love using it and headphone jack is nice also the 2 year warranty is awesome.

    LG, why'd you leave the phone business? Motorola, I love you guys, even if you did screw me over once! But my advice is still the same to you, if you want to be "great again" (whoa, I sound like Trump), stop and fix your problems/mistakes, that way you can possibly learn from them before trying to rush on to the next best thing...

    Have bought LG phones for last 10 years and have enjoyed. My preference is Not totally pleased with LGV40 . Camera quality is not as good as V20. (The quality and feel of V20 is better). Some basic functions removed like ICON for voicemail messages makes it difficult to know you have without searching. Lots of pull down and swipe searching, instead of just touch features. Over priced even at $400.

    First to come out with the triple camera at the back, 5 cameras total. Still has an aux jack (quad dad), expandable memory, water resistance. It has the top of the line processor, when released and beautiful features. This is my favorite phone. So, I bought one for my mom this year.
