I switched to this watch after my Samsung broke. The pedometer is very inaccurate and it's difficult to turn on at times.

This watch is excellent. It is a bit larger but it has all the gadgets in it and it preforms well.

Needed a watch to replace my PTS. Was not impressed with Android Wear 1.0 with its mediocre battery life and laggy performance. Went ahead and purchased this LG Watch Sport. Wow. Tho it's not 7-10 days of battery life like the PTS this with Bluetooth, WiFi, Location, Always on Screen, and Tilt to Wake on I've been getting about 36 hours of battery life. Big turn off for some for its size but I used to wear Casio G-Shock watches so this was normal to me. LG Watch Style might be the one for you if size is the issue. Paying with Android Pay on the Sport was quick like on my Pixel XL. Notifications on this was on point along with answering/talking calls. Speaker might be small but it’s loud enough and clear. Callers said they didn’t notice I was on my watch concluding the mic was great. Answering text was a breeze and fast. Voice, Type, and draw to text what ever you fancy this can do it. Not using a SIM for LTE.

A Good Watch and a Good Start to Android Wear 2.0

I purchased the LG Watch Sport from BB with no intentions of using it on AT&T. I removed the AT&T sim and replaced it with a T-Mobile sim. I'm using a T-Mobile One Unlimited Data Phone Line Nano Sim. If you don't have extra lines, you can use T-Mobile Digits and just say it is a Gear S3 when you fill out the info online. T-Mobile will send you a sim that will spoof your cell's number, and it is free while in beta. It will not work on a T-Mobile wearable line. People are complaining about battery life, but I think it is perfectly reasonable to expect a full day of usage, and then have to charge it every night (just like a phone). With LTE off and everything else enabled, I left the house at 8am and had 35% battery remaining at 10pm. Thats 14 hours on my wrist and less than 2/3 of the battery was used. Another 7 hours to drain it completely is fair, do I really need 21 hours of usage straight? No. I plan to only turn on LTE when I don't have my phone. After reading reviews, I thought this watch was going to,be laughably large, and it isn't. I am 5'10" and 185lbs but have small wrists and I think it's perfectly sized (maybe a little thicker than most would choose but I got used to that in a day. There is room for improvement in regards to battery optimizations and stuff, but it already seems like a mich better OS than Tizen, and it just got released.

My Favorite Smart Watch to Date

I've owned a couple of AW watches over the past couple of years (Samsung Gear Live, Sony SW3) and even the Gear S3. This is by far the best looking and feature-packed. The look may not be for everyone, but the bulkiness actually makes it look like an expensive real watch. Also, the color combo of the light gray bezel and darker gray band make it look stylish and works with formal, casual or a sporty outfit. The display is gorgeous, bright, big and responsive. The UI is faaaaaaast, and the AW2 changes (e.g. darker theme) are a much welcomed change. I feel like LTE is a gimmick, and hasn't been that useful. I guess I just need keep my phone behind to feel its benefits. Keep in mind that if you don't have an AT&T branded phone, you won't be able to use NumberSync since it relies on HD Voice. Kind of a bummer but that would never be a reason to justify having to use crippled branded Android phones from AT&T. GPS and NFC are great for running and paying with your phone. I've been using Runkeeper and my Beats BT Wireless earphone and it's be liberating not to have to carry my phone. Finally, battery life OK, but can get me through a day of light use (7am-10pm). For those comparing this to Samsung's Gear S3, this watch is much better looking and better built. The rotating bezel on the S3 felt cheap and loose, always making a "tapping" sound when your fingers bumped it. Also, apps are non existent and UI is clunky. Granted, battery life was better on the S3.

    Yet another beta Google project...

Ugh. Really wanted to like this watch, but with all its thickness and "sports" moniker it's still lackings. It does not count floors/stairs. The battery is short lived---esp. If you want to actually USE the features advertises, like LTE, WiFi, and always on. The non replaceable bands supposedly house the cellular antennas. Lazy engineering. Samsung's Gear S3 managed to fit all their tech into the watch casing...and get way more battery life WITH an always on screen. The software is still half-baked, which is something Google is really good at---delivering us consumers projects instead of products. This is a horrible flagship for Android Wear 2.0. Before buying this, ask yourself why are there no other AW2 watches yet. Why is Google (still) not releasing its AW project to existing AW1 watches---not even a release date. This watch is unavailable because it SHOULD BE. However, there will soon be one (back) in stock once I return mine.

Ok as smartwatch but not for fitness

I really wanted to like this watch as it has everything. As a smartwatch it works great however for fitness not so good. I took it out on a run and my pace was all over the place. Also while running sometimes my wrist would hit the digital crown and return it to the home screen forcing me to hit the top button to get back to my stats. Because of these things I returned it and will look for something else.
