This was a Birthday gift for my sister and she loves it. My husband has this phone and is very satisfied with his. My sisters LG phone was a older model and about 6 years old and she just loves the new features she gets with this one.

The phone has been suffering a recurring download error (search for: "Unable to install all contents. 1 code: 400") on Virgin Mobile's pre-installed software. It pops up approximately ten-fifteen times an HOUR and has been for weeks. Since it's attempting to download, it can easily burn through your data from your pocket. Great phone, but consider another carrier until they get this fixed.

The camera is excellent and crisp. The actual phone was great for the first 4 days, then it kept freezing. At first I thought it was a particular app, but quickly realized it was the phone. It would freeze during sending a text. I would constantly have to close all the apps, or restart the phone. Needless to say, I bought it July 1st and exchanged it on July 7th for a Samsung J3 Achieve.

a notification app is inconsistent . I use it for work. It shuts off(disconnects) by itself. Brought it into best buy to get looked at-did not help. I 've had 2 other less expensive lg phones-never had an issue

No LED notification

After almost 4 years with my LG Volt, I upgraded to the LG X Charge. I did not realize this when I bought it, but the phone DOES NOT have an LED notification light. I've never had a phone without a notification light. There are a few apps you can download to get around this, but it's the biggest negative about the phone. The good thing is you can double-tap the screen to wake up the phone instead of hitting the power button every time. (And to turn the screen OFF you can double-tap the notification bar at the top instead of hitting the power button).
Battery life is incredible, but it's not removable, which makes the phone slimmer. If your phone freezes up you have to hold the power button and the down volume button for about 8 seconds to restart the phone. (If the phone had a removable battery and it froze you could just remove the battery and restart it). You also can't replace the battery if it eventually dies. You have to get a new phone, but that shouldn't be an issue since most replace their phone every few years.
It's a BIG phone compared to my old LG Volt (which I thought was big at the time). It's annoying to carry such a big phone in your pant pocket. I wish they would stop making phones so big, but it does make watching videos easier.
It comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and it works noticeably faster. My old Volt had Android 4.1, so it's a big step up in terms of security and usability, but you have to search online to learn about all of the tricks hidden in Nougat to get the most out of it.
I did have some trouble at first activating the phone using the phone itself. I then went online and logged in to my Virgin Mobile account to activate the phone and it finally worked. I also had trouble using my own ringtone which was on a music file. I downloaded the file to my phone from Google drive, but then I had to go to the File Manager folder, then the Download folder, locate the music file, and move it (cut & paste) to the Ringtone folder. Kind of a pain.
In summary, the phone feels solid especially for less than a Benjamin. You just have to decide if you're okay with not having a notification light and having a battery you can't remove.

My wife's old phone was so out dated so we headed to Best Buy to shop for her a new phone. She picked this one because of all the features it has. So I got it for her, Happy Wife, Happy Life. Thank you Best Buy.

This phone has the best battery over most phones ive seen 4500mha and comes with a quick charger. Great size and vivid color just wish they made this the same for a upgrade with double the memory internally.

I moved on from the Volt. I was out of country several months and the Volt stopped responding. The X Charge has the best battery life I've seen so far. I can't find anything negative to say about it.

Please improve the glass! Far too fragile! And improve the backside grip. Too slick! If you drop it, you'll regret it!!!
