I even returned the first one thinking it was broken or damaged. But after receiving the second replacement I realized this just not high quality or even middle level stereo. My 12 year old liked its looks and I am not worried about him listening to loud as it just can’t deliver any real substantial punch so it is his now. I went out and bought myself a Sony with 100 watts and way better sound. LG 700 watts is not even a comparable system. I gave two stars for looks and functionality.

But this system is one of the worst sounding systems I have ever heard. The sound is all mid-range and bass-no treble at all. Sounds muffeled no matter the EQ setting. BTW all the EQ settings sound almost exactly the same. I replaced a 13 year old Sony with almost the same features minus BT. Until it finally died, it sounded 100 times better than the LG. I'm not sure if I can return it as I have had it 10 days and have discarded the original packaging. Extremely disappointed.

She gave it back I had no luck with fm tuner radio stationis 20 miles away. I purchased a new antenna the station would come in but it sounds like waves fading in & out. I am really disappointed, I waited to leave a review in hopes I could figure it out. Now I'm past the return window.

It still kicks really well, but I was a bit rough with it and the subwoofer on it doesn't work anymore. So instead of trying to break the sony apart and fixing it, I figured I'd just buy a new system and use the sony in my bedroom. I got the LG XBOOM and am extremely disappointed. The subwoofer on the LG is almost non existent. I get more bass out of the Sony without the sub.. I'm all about that bass.. The mid and high on ranges on the LG are pretty good for $150 but there needs to be more bass, a lot more bass. The LG system will improve any TV speakers and for $150 it is priced right for what it is. Although you should def put down a few more bucks, you won't regret it. It's a shame too because this LG unit is wayyy sexier in person than online. All around disappointed with this unit.
