This Boombox is the bomb. I purchased it years ago and everyday I listen to the box spewing out the watts. I am addicted to the sound coming out of this.... and the Bluetooth, seamless. Surprised this is still available because when I got mine, it was not all that available in the market. Get it while you can.

Set up was very easy. Bluetooth works well. Many features for it's price point. However..... the equalizer presets were not for me. I choose the one I liked best. I used a equalizer on my cellphone to adjust the uninspiring sound. Sounds great now. When I use it for a sound bar I use the television for the lacking high end. It is a great improvement. With the right tweaking it sounds great. Instead of the radio I use iheart run through my equalizer. I have another Bluetooth device it sounds great with equalization. LG needs to tweak the eq settings. .

My CD player is much better than I expected. I have purchased in the past a CD player that was at the same price point but the sound and quality was not as good as this one.

This is a nice unit. Its design might not be for everyone but I liked it. I cannot speak for the way that it functioned because I never powered it up. Unfortunately the speaker wires were much shorter than the model that I replaced. I measured this model's wires under 60". I needed a couple of more feet in order to set it up where I needed it. I considered replacing the wires; however, the speakers are made of particle board which are glued to the sides. I could not remove the back to access where the wires connected to the actual speakers. It would have been a fun unit -- easy to relocate outside when company was over. This would also go great in a young person's room or dorm room.

I chose this unit as a shelf system for my 4 car garage. This stereo was easy to set up and program. The included remote will control almost every function of the system. It provides plenty of volume and great sound in all modes. I still have and use my CDs so the CD player is a welcome addition. A great buy at this price point!

It'a named XBOOM for a reason. I have owned large sounds systems with tower speakers dating way back and they were loud. XBOOM offers a loud sound but takes up very little space. This sound system is a great value.

I bought this 2005-2007, and have gotten nothing but amazing song from this so-called boombox. It has super Bass mode and regular base mode, hides five CDs. I can’t think of a better product to suggest anyone else to buy 13-15 years of THUMPIN’ and she just keeps putting out clear sound. Also all I did was take it out of the box set it up on my stereo stand and plug it in. It’s that easy.

After reviewing many reviews I decided to purchase this stereo system. I am very pleased with this system. My floors vibrate from the bass. Very easy to set up.

I trust my LG stereo system. This is actually my second one that I purchased. The first one I bought over a year ago. I have so many Cd's that I still use and love. Some Cd's wouldn't play. Overall LG is a top, trusted brand. This system has all easy access to its best features and sound qualities. I was lucky to find the same exact one again. Thank you Best buy.

I...LOVE...MUSIC!!! And this L-G XBoom 700 main unit and speaker system let me hear every separate instruments and sounds fully and clearly, the bass...WOW! blew my hair back (lol)

Who ever says this stereo is not good do not believe them this is one of the best stereos I had ever had. It’s worth the 200 dollars the bass is so good everything on this stereo is amazing

I bought this stereo for my home gym in a 500 sq ft. garage. I originally had a smaller bluetooth speaker and although the sound quality was great it didnt produce that "room filling" sound and bass I was hoping for. As I mentioned before this is for a space that is used to sweat off some pounds, not an elevator taking you to a gloomy hospital room. It connects via bluetooth quickly unlike other systems I've owned. Throw this bad boy in your livingroom, bachelor pad, or shop to jam out to your favorite tunes.
