Good for listening to podcast and connect easily does not need the app but helps. I am a bit of an audiophile and needed something for podcast when I am cooking or a speaker for my server. I am surprised how much I use this thing and the form factor is really nice. It is not my favorite in terms of sound quality I leave the sound boost on all the time but if it just had better tuning that would be better.

Sound is amazing. Works grear. I love how you can turn the lights off if you want.

This speaker is good but only ipx5 only and is heavy and not very loud for it size…

The LG XBOOM is wonderful bluetooth speaker for listening to music on my IPAD like Spotify it is great.

Great lil speaker with a larger than life sound. We love it when we're outside eating & home watching tv. I was surprised by how much good it sounds.

Needed some music for a small reception, and the LG Xboom worked great! Would have been great in a larger room as well!

This thing has a lot of bass, and far as I can tell, there's no easy way of turning it down. It's not enough for me to return it, but it was surprising and something I had to get used to. Also, connectivity is weird. Sometimes it will connect to the phone, phone will acknowledge that it's connected for "calls and audio" but still won't play audio. I have to disconnect and reconnect, sometimes multiple times, to get it to work.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my mother (92) to listen to her Bluetooth radio stations back home. It was easy to set up with great sound.

Very happy with the sound quality provided by this Speaker. I used it in my vehicle when my radio shorted out. Worked great

Well worth the price! Coming from the Sony portable speakers, these are much better.
