Funny in parts, but sad how a marriage ending after 18 years can be considered comedy. Especially when the ex-husband jokes about his previous marriage at his new wedding.

i enjoy melissa mccarthy and this was another of her funny movies. Plot played out pretty much as expected but humorous moments were enjoyable. note - movie rang up higher at the register than what was in weekly ad flyer and what was marked on the shelf. So beware you pay the correct amount - I had to show the price tag on the floor display to the manager & checkout person. Both online, weekly ad and floor display had $15.99. Register rang up at $19.99.

This movie was very typical for this type of movies this actress stars in. Parts are comical but tends to be long in other parts.

Excellent movie -- well written, funny and also a great mother-daughter relationship. Good one to watch any time. Melissa McCarthy has a new movie out, titled Superintelligence, and we're looking forward to adding that DVD to our collection, too. Online is great, but sometimes it's nice to have the DVD itself, and this is one of those times.

If you need a good laugh you should watch this movie. Pretty much all the movies she makes are really hilarious

We enjoy Melissa McCarthy a lot. We loved her in Spy. This was good - there were definitely funny parts. Not the best.

My son purchased this video and has watched it with his friends couple of times. They thought it was an OK video.

I love Melissa McCarthy and this film isn't bad but it still doesn't come close to Spy or The Heat.

This is a pretty funny movie, but not her best. It's worth watching and getting a chuckle out of it.

Great change of pace for MMc, getting to switch from the typical "child mind in a large adult body" to someone battling loneliness of her daughter going away to school and responding to it in an unusual way. Nice acting groove for her.

This was one of Melissa McCarthy funniest movies. I would recommend this movie to anyone that enjoys a good laugh, or finding themselves divorcing after giving everything up for the husband so he finishes college. She drops out of college... has a daughter. From there ... one good movie!
