The key word here people is SPORTS. Vi is geared towards people who appreciate upscale training and listening to their music during running, exercising etc...it's actually really cool, like having a personal trainer, only instead of a real person shouting in your ear, you get instructions and feedback from an interactive trainer. These earphones actually gave me the incentive to work harder, having actual goals with getting live feed on my performance. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

I do more of a run-walk-run which isn't well suited for this device as it doesn't count those steps or time. If you a strictly a runner, it seems pretty cool.

I really like the Vi AI, but it still need a lot of work to improve the running metric. I'm still waiting for their indoor treadmill running feature. I will change my overall rating if they add the indoor running feature like they promise.

I got Vi a couple of days ago and have been training with it since. It’s a great product and really comfertable to wear. The design is elegant; great choice of materials for the neck part and the earpiece-fin fits well. Physiological data and pace flow smoothly during workout, and the post training app records all the activity for follow-up. I really like having Vi with me during activity, it keeps things interesting and helps me concentrate more on the training. The headphone sound is awesome. As a cell phone headset – Vi is amazing. I also enjoy its connectivity to Spotify etc for music streaming. Recommended.

I have many different headphones and I rotate through all of them. These are extremely comfortable and have great sound quality. These are the MOST intelligent headphones I've used and I don't need to fumble with my phone to get information about what I am doing. I also wear them while mowing the lawn (with a walk behind gas mower). I am able to listen to my music or audio books without and issue. I can wear these for extended periods of time without any issue. There are so many ear gels included, I can't imagine them not fitting anyone. Overall, a great product/

I’ve had this for about a month and I’m more than satisfied with every aspect of the features. The coaching intelligence is very helpful and I’ve been running for over 30 yrs! The clincher is the sound. Very well balanced. I like bass AND treble and this has both. Earbuds are big so you get a snug fit. Also, the neck piece does NOT move around!

I bought VI, as I wanted to pick up running again after I stopped running a few years ago due to a bad achilles injury. I wanted to go back to my normal running habits again, but was afraid to get another bad injury. However, a friend of mine recommended VI, and was a bit sceptic in the beginning as it is a little expensive. Therefore I first tried my friend's VI, and while using it I got very excited. First of all you can adapt the coaching to what you would like to achieve, since I am coming back from a bad injury I chose the goal to reduce stress and am now setting goals to run further. Now i'm back to running again after two years of trying different ways of working out. VI helped me a lot with adjusting the way how I run, what I could change in order to improve my posture and the way i land my feet (this was a big eye opener for me personally)! Anyway to come down to the VI, it is an amazing tool/coach as it helped me a lot and i feel way better while running now. When looking at the price and what I know now, in the end it is way cheaper and easier than hiring an actual PT. Besides this, they have a couple of awesome features, like integrating Spotify, the sound is amazing and you can just pick up your calls (not that I do that many phone calls during a run;))

Have owned these for about a week and absolutely love the headphones. they are comfortable to wear which was the main reason i made the switch over from my beats headphones. Sound quality is great, they are crisp, clear and block out the outside noise exceptionally well. Headphones are very easy to use and setup and they work seamlessly with the app. I was a little skeptical at first about the neckband, as i thought it would be uncomfortable and annoying but i was wrong! Sometimes I even forget I'm wearing them! The fitness trainer sounds like a real person, is motivating and makes you want to just get up and go, which is a huge +++. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

This is the first time i invest in a high end product for my training routine. on first glance, just by putting it on the Vi is very compuftable, well balanced and feels great as a wearable device. As i tuned it on, Vi immidietly sttarted talking and giving me instructions to how to download the app, and how to get started - so funny! and the main thing here during training is this - yeah, you listen to musinc most of the time but it happens that just when you need it the personal tainer surprises you with a comment, instruction or sometime a joke and keeps you on track to do a little extra. so far absoulutly love it!!

Pros: Great sound. Great design. Cons: 8hr battery. So siri control. Just bought these today (8/18/17) and will decide on returning after a couple weeks use. They sound better than the tone platinum. The wires are thicker and sturdier on the vi whereas I've had to return 3 sets on platinums due to the right ear bud going out. But the platinums have the edge on battery life (vi-8;tones-11), siri controllability and Bluetooth 4.2. (vi-bt4.0).

I got it a week ago and I can say I'm addicted - the audio quality is amazing and the AI is extremely cool. Unlike other devices, you don't need anything but the earphones to follow your pulse and it sits really comfortably while you run. Easily connected it to my Spotify account. Overall - amazing product - recommended!

Audio quality and AI are simply amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by the setup process and accuracy of the heart rate monitoring. My only complaint (and the reason for the 4/5) is the lack of distinction between L and R on the earbuds. It took me a few minutes to decipher which was which. Aside from that, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and usability of the product and would highly recommend to anyone.

This product is extraordinary. The sound is amazing, and VI (personal trainer) is extremely user friendly. Vi was created to help guys like me to be more disciplined in weekly training and step up my game few notch up. AMAZING!

i got VI a couple of weeks ago and has been using it almost on a daily basis I love the product so comfortable easy the quality of sound is ideal I love the personal coach she helps me improve my run every time thanks lifebeam for making and amazing product

I've been using it for my marathon training and I think the earphones are a great tool especially for runners who like to run with music. The earphones are very comfortable and the sound is excellent..

I was quite skeptical about these artificial intelligence earphone trainers but i had to give it a try. Anything that will make my running more effective (or will actually take me out to run). So I'm writing this review after running at least 4 times with them. I'll start by saying that the sound is great. Nothing beats "Harman Kardon" and they deliver great sound on all the spectrum (bass, high tone and in-between). Comfort wise - they're great. The neck band is flexible and rests nicely on your shoulders, and the earphones come with 4 sizes of plugs and fins so I found the perfect size for my weird shape ears. Now for the whole "a.i training" experience - the voice (female obviously) is very natural and not robotic, they must have taped this saying like a 1000 things... and she's actually saying important stuff during the run, giving you stats about your heart rate and pace etc. Also from time to time she plays these games with you so you'll pick up the pace and that was really nice. The app is slick and shows you all the statistics about your run with nice charts but nothing overwhelming there. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase, although the price tag is pretty high for earphones, the value add of the trainer makes sense here. I'm waiting to see it evolve and looking forward for my next runs with it.

From fun unpacking through an easy setup. The product material feels like very high quality and the setup is very quick and intuitive. It has a great sound quality and she sounds very human.

Got my new vi about 10 days ago, used it 3 times now and love it! the female voice is so natural and not at all robotic. Personal set up was a breeze and when running she encourages me to do my best. if you are a beginner runner the Vi is like a personal trainer pushing you just enough for you to reach your goals. This headset is amazing and worth every cent. I will not run without this unit around my neck.

Was excited to get this product, very innovative idea. I was going to use it for both working out and as a headset at work. This thing is not built for conversations...I ran three conference calls using it and had to switch out finally because everyone said it sounded muffled. Switched back to my Bose, everything was great. Bottom line, if using it just to workout etc its cool. But if you want to parlay into a Bluetooth for phones as well, stick with Bose.
