I had different one for a couple weeks and it started falling apart. Plus, I didn't like the way the phone went into it. This one is so much better. I totally trust it with my $700 phone! And I ride a Harley that shakes quite a bit ;) I have an Otterbox case on the phone that might make it fit a little better, but I think it would handle a phone without a shell and alot of other phones and devices as well. My GPS fits fine, I just dont need it. I have the Iphone6. I HAVE "recommended it to a friend". AND my Brother. I'll try to post a couple pictures.

Bought two of these, one for my bike and one for my wife's. They mount in a few seconds, no tools required. Lifeproof case snaps right in and can also be locked in place if needed. It is on a ball-and-socket joint so adjusting the angle and orientation is super easy. They work great, ike all LifeProof items. But, like all LifeProof items, I think they are a little over-priced for what they are.

I'd been looking for a bike mount for my I Phone that would hold my Otterbox Defender case and hold the phone securely, and wasn't having much luck. I ended up getting a new Lifeproof case, which a friend recommended, and came across this holder (which does NOT work with the Otterbox case). It is secure on the bike, and the phone fits perfectly. I've been out a few times and have been happy so far. I ride a hybrid bike on paved trails mostly, so I don't know how this would hold up on a mountain bike off road. It would be perfect if it had a place to attach a back up power supply while one is riding, since the battery drains quickly with Runtastic keeping track of my rides, but it's not a big deal.

I was looking for a way to attach my lifeproof case for my iphone 5s to my motorcycle. This handlebar mount was exactly what I was looking for. Now I can use my phone as a GPS and pandora player while riding my motorcycle. It also mounts to different diameter handlebars so it would also mount to my mountain bike to track my path and mileage. It includes a few rubber spacers to accommodate numerous diameter handlebars. The lifeproof case (which is purchased separately) clips in and locks in. There is a little bit of adjustment to change the angle and orientation of your phone once its mounted. The only complaint is the price. I guess all lifeproof branded items are $$$$. Have you seen the price for their armband? OMG! I would recommend this to people who already own a lifeproof case and need a way to mount. If you don't already own a lifeproof case, there are numerous more affordable solutions.

I made this purchase to view a GPS phone app for road cycling. Lifeproof makes a great product and keeps my iPhone safe and secure while riding my bike. The phone clip locks into place securing it to the bike handle bars and has a pivot to adjust the angle of the phone when placed into it.

I've had the lifeproof iPhone3 cycle mount a while back, and it worked perfectly. We just purchased a new motorcycle with round-bar handlebars (my other motorcycle has alloy handlebars that are not round and cannot accommodate this mount), so I figured I'd give it a go. As expected, it works very well for the iPhone5 lifeproof case. It does seem a little 'cheap' but as I've had the same type before, I knew it would be ok. It has worked just fine in the brief time we've had it, but I expect many more miles out of it.

Purchased this for my boyfriend who has a lifeproof case but wanted a mount that would let him look at trail maps when riding around town. He rides around 20-30 mph when he really gets going so it was important that the mount always remain on the bike when he hits bumps. This has a special lock to keep it attached to the bar and also to keep the case in place even in hard road conditions. He loves it and has been using it rather consistently since he purchased it, makes the phone easy to see and easy to use. Definitely a good option if you want to see trail maps, fitness apps on the go.

This is perfect for my rides so I can keep track of data using map my fitness. It is even better not having to take my phone out of the case to use this holder. I like the locking feature and the assorted rubber inserts to make installation easy and fast. No tools required either, just fit it to the handle bars then latch it. You can easily take it off and put it on another bike or anything else with the same diameter. Good buy and great value. I like the life proof brand and recommend it to others.

I mounted this on my Harley so that I could use GPS or literally just see who is calling or texting so I know if it's important enough to pull over and answer. It along with the Lifeproof case have now been through two rain storms and as advertised....no issues. Have recommended this to my fellow riders numerous times already.

I bought this mount for my fiancé. He rides a motorcycle and needed a way to have gps on long touring trips. He uses the lifeproof nuud case for his iphone 5 and loves it! The mount is easy to install (we installed it in less than a minute). It comes with several different rubber grommets to make sure you get the right fit. The best part is the ball joint that lets you get the phone tightened down at just the right level. Overall a great product!

I was under the impression that the unit would be compatible with my IPhone 5S. Unfortunately, it did not adjust to securely hold my phone. I used an elastic band to hold it in place. It works fine. I considered this a minor issue, since the unit was on clearance.

I bought this item because I was going to be renting a lot of different bikes while I travel. It goes great in my bag and easy on and off of the bike. I put it on the bike and it securely hold my iPhone. The lock makes me feel safe to travel wherever I need to go. I have rode through the rain, mud, dust and dirt, and there is no issue what so ever. I forgot and left my phone on my bike on the bike rack, was not even worried when I realized it. I washed the bike with it on, and no issue. Stays where I put it. The iPhone 5 version is so perfect. It locks like a dream and works just as well. I will be buying the armband next.

Tight fit on handle bars and easy to view while riding. For the price I got this for I could not pass it up!

I didn't like keeping my iPhone in my pocket while riding so I was looking for a holder and discovered this on closeout. Great deal and works great.

Phone (and bar mount) survived a ~30 mph mountain bike crash. Case did not (Plastic screen protector separated from the body of the case) BUT LifeProof warrantied the case and sent me a new one. Process took about a week until the new one was in hand.

Great product. It comes with several rubber inserts so that it can be used on a wide variety of platforms. I use it on a motorcycle and never worried that it would shake loose or my phone would fall out. A great accessory if you enjoy using your lifeproof case and want to transform it into a trip recorder or GPS navigator while you bike or ride.

Ride my bike alot during the summer when I'm at the beach house. Bought this so I had a place to put my phone without worrying about it dropping. Phone locks great in place. Mount connects to bike very easy. Lets me use my GPS while biking and listening to music.

This is what I was looking for on my bike rides and it is sturdy on rough roads.
