There couldn't have been a better case than this one. My phone is totally protected. This case is not bulky at all. It's not ugly. There are lots of color options. I am a welder and work in a dirty environment. With this case I am assured that my phone will stay safe and clean. So far no metal shavings or dust have gotten into my case to my phone.

I love the fact I can run or walk or do any activity outside and not worry about getting my phone wet. I really don't like the fact that the screen protector is so loose bubbles up and makes it hard for the touchscreen to work properly. If you're looking for an iPhone case that is durable and water proof this is the one. If you're looking for an I phone case that is durable and waterproof and easy to use the touchscreen on, this is not a good choice.

I have had the case for a little over a month now. It has been in the ocean and in the bay with no water damage to the phone what so ever. I also have dropped the phone on concrete and again no damage. The only down side is the screen has already got 2 small scratches and they did not happen when dropped. I would definitely buy another at this point though. I attached a photo taken with the phone submerged in the water.

This is the second case I bought for my daughter. She loves to take pictures and video at the pool. There is a good variety of colors to match anyone's taste. Even when she had dropped the phone while not in the case, the screen cracked terribly but we were able to put it back in the case and use the phone until we were able to get a new phone. The case protected even a badly damaged phone!

Stylish case with maximum protection possible. Worth every penny spent on the case. If within a year, the case breaks or fails life proof has a warranty. Truly, none of this fine print mess. No other case protects like this.

I have been a lifelong Otterbox fan, but after hearing friends talk about how much they loved their Lifeproof cases I decided to get one myself for my iPhone 5. I have to say I love the color options out there, but right now lime green is my color of choice so I got this one. Overall the product is fantastic. I got in the pool with my phone to take pictures underwater and worked great!! No water inside the case or on my phone. Case is extremely thin and light for what it offers. Great case. Now the bad.. First off, the front of the screen is fully covered with a plastic clear screen which doesn't touch the screen. This causes oil spots on the screen and causes some touching issues. Next the case is $79.99 and it doesn't include a belt clip. The belt clip is an additional $29.99. This case is double the price of most standard "shock proof" cases. While I do think the water proof justifies most of this cost, I still feel it should have came with the belt clip.

This is my second LifeProof case that I have purchased (I had one on my iPhone 4). I love it. It is unrivaled for phone protection. The LifeProof case I had on my iPhone 4 saved me from having to buy a new phone probably 5 different times. I haven't had any near misses with this new phone and case yet, but I have great confidence in the case if that situation ever arises. The downsides to the case are few but notable. For one, the sound quality of the phone is definitely diminished by the case. It isn't enough to be a deal breaker for me, but it is worth noting. Somehow, the case redirects the bulk of the sound coming from the bottom speakers (if you are playing music or using your speakerphone) and sends it out of the back of the phone unless the bottom flap is open. The other downside is the price. Eighty dollars is a lot to spend on a case for a phone if you aren't doing any activity that justifies such a purchase. But if you are like me, I constantly find my self in work environments that make this case worth the price. I work around a lot of paint, sawdust, dirt, and water. Because of that, I can't afford to have my phone damaged by incidental contact with my everyday life. So for me, it was well worth the price tag. I wouldn't recommend this case for someone who is very careful with their phone and lives a lifestyle that doesn't really threaten hard to your phone. There are cheaper cases out there that will do just fine. Overall, I love the case. It's worth it if you really need it.

I have only had this case for a couple of weeks. Phone works great in the case and this case is smaller than the Otterbox Defender I was using, plus it is water and dust proof. Easy access to charging port and buttons. I like the fact that there appears to be no sound distortion for the microphone or speaker. However, there are a couple of issues. First, the toggle switch for silent mode on the side of the phone is a small annoyance as I cannot just look at the switch and see its current state. I usually have to flip the switch a couple of times. Lastly, the headphone jack adapter. In order to use the headphones you have to use an adapter, which is provided. I know this is is to maintain the waterproof capability of the phone, but it is annoying. Either you leave it screwed in at all times and you have it looking weird and feeling weird in your pocket or you leave it out and screw it in when you need it. The problems with that are if you forget it or lose it. Then you are unable to use the headphones.

I bought this product to protect my phone from water damage when at the pool or out on the lake, because having such an active life and carrying an expensive phone around can become pricey. Unfortunately having such features on a phone case to protect against the elements makes the phone bulky, and hard to access. The screen cover will never stay flush against the phone's screen, making any kind of texting slightly frustrating because your phone thinks you are hitting another area of the screen than you are actually trying to touch. the screen cover is bouncy, and annoying. The headphone jack screw in protector is very hard to turn to get off, and on securely. constantly having to use the screw in headphone extender when using headphones in conditions that does not warrant for tightly sealed conditions is time consuming and annoying. Overall, the product does what is stated, but maybe one doesn't need this complete protection all the time. Ive now resorted to only using the case when at the pool or on the lake, or if its raining out when i have decided to take a jog. Another issue I have had with it is it doesn't allow for my phone to breath and make causes it to over heat when using your phone for extended periods. Not sure how to fix these issues and keep the tight waterproof seal, but something should be looked at.

I was looking for something that was more weatherproof than my old case, which was a Otterbox Defender. This LifeProof case is outstanding. There are no holes in the front of the case for the sound to go from the phone to your ear when you're on the phone, but you have no problems hearing the person on the other end. The screen protector is pretty flimsy, and I've noticed a difference in the sensitivity of my iPhone responding to my finger, in addition, the screen protector is flimsy and there is a bit of an air gap between it and my iPhone screen, which contributes to the iPhone having more trouble recognizing my finger presses. The only other "con" is it requires an adapter to plug headphones or anything else into the 1/8" plug. It comes with an adapter, but it's a pain to have to keep up with it. The reason is, that to be waterproof, it has a screw-in plug with an o-ring to ensure that no water gets to the case, and this makes it too thick for a normal 1/8" plug to reach and connect to the phone. Not a big deal, but sort of a pain. I have a feeling that I will not end up using this case as a day-to-day case, but more as a case when I expect to be out in the elements, and don't want to risk getting my iPhone wet.

I ordered the Life-Proof because I live an active life and want good protection for my I-phone. The case looks great, was easy to use and best of all doesn't make the phone big and bulky. I wanted something that I can use everyday. The biggest drawback is the muffled sound. I can hear my callers just fine but they complain that I sound far away and muffled. Haven't decided if this is a deal breaker yet. $90.00 is pricey for something I may only use occasionally, but it does protect my phone from water.

Well this is my first life proof case. I've had otterbox defender cases on all my phones. But I wanted the waterproof feature. This case is very well built and very well designed. When you open the package, it advises to do the water test without your phone in the case to make sure it's waterproof. I think that's awesome. The sticker you have to take off on the inside of the case leaves a residue behind dramatically. I took back 2 cases until I finally got the 3rd one off clean. Well after the water test, application to the phone is very easy. Huge drawback is the 80 dollar price tag. Also, when playing music through the phone speakers, the plastic that covers the apple logo on the back rattles like crazy and is very annoying. I read about this online and thought it wasn't a big deal. But not just that, the sound quality is just all around horrible. Every time I got a message or my phone rang, I could barely hear it and it would be just a lot of rattling. Overall, I went back to my otterbox defender case until the new ARMOR case by otterbox releases.

This case offers great protection, a little pricey but well worth it. The speaker quality is improved from the 4s case but still not great, sound is muffled and not very loud. I would recommend it to anybody that is hard on phones or does anything where phone is exposed to all elements. Doesn't add much bulk, lightweight and slides easily inside my pocket or purse. In my opinion, for the price, a belt clip should come included not an extra $29.99.

I held off on buying this case because of its price and the potential problem with iOS 7 and swiping from the bottom of the screen for the command center. First problem was fixed because it went on sale on Best Buy for $70. As far as iOS 7 goes, I haven't had a problem. I read a review that said if you swipe up from one of the corners then it works more often, and so far this has worked! As mentioned above, the case is slimmer than I expected and actually makes gripping the phone easier. Haven't had a problem with camera quality or sound/call quality. The speaker does vibrate the back of the case causing the sound to amplify more and buzz if the volume is too loud. I really like the buttons on this case because there is a definite click when pressed. I had a few cases where the buttons were mushy and it was hard to tell when I had pressed the button. I haven't fully submerged the case with my phone in it yet. I did with the test "iphone" when i first got the case and there were no leaks. I have run water over the case to clean it without any problems. Use of the iPhone's touch screen (without a plastic shield like the Fre) is great!

I bought this blue case for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and my sister ended up buying me the yellow one for Christmas as well. We both love the cases. They are a lot slimer than Otterbox's "life proof" case (the one with the hinges). I trust the product so much that I have showered with it multiple times (I listen to Pandora on it while I shower) and it is amazing! The downside is that if you do plan to take it swimming to take pictures or videos is that once your fingers and the screen is wet it is hard for the screen to sense the heat off of your fingers so it doesn't work really well. Another thing, if you enjoy using headphones with your iPhone the downside is for this blue color the screw that comes out for the headphone jack is not attached to the case so you can end up losing the little screw that covers the headjack (which defeats the purpose of having a waterproof case). The yellow color on the otherhand , its little screw comes attached to the case. So when you unscrew it to put your headphones in the screw just dangles on the case, but you will not lose it. If you do not know what I am talking about just YouTube the lifeproof case and I am sure there will be videos that talk about the screw to the headphone jack. Other then that this product is amazing and I would totally recommend for you to buy it!

Seems to be a good cover, but geez, case makers in general must be making a killing. Seems it would be more profitable to be a case maker than a phone maker. Anyway, compared to otterbox armor, this is much smaller and provides similar protection. Doesn't offer the 2 tons of crush protection of the armor, but really - if you're at risk of 2 tons of crushing force in your vicinity, maybe you should be paying attention to what you're doing and not playing with the phone. Only complaint other than price is that it doesn't have a spot for a lanyard. You can cut off the plastic tab that holds the earphone jack plug and use that spot for a lanyard, but would be nice to do both.

The life proof cases are great cases for protection but I'm giving a 4 star because it's hard for people to hear you when talking or it sounds like you are in a tunnel. I had three different phones and life proof cases and get the same results. But for protection and water proof it's the best around.

This case does exactly what it says it will do, protect your phone from water and dirt and other parts of life that are not good for your phone. I've had this phone covered in sand at the beach and simply rinsed it off with water from my water bottle. I could never do that with my other cases. It create a sense of ease that my phone is going to survive where ever I take it. The screen cover sometimes takes and bit more firm touch to register a touch on the iPhones screen than I'm used to (much better than an older screen cover that I had on my iPhone 4) and the additional depth for the audio jack prevents me from using my fancy earbuds that have a 90deg elbow at the jack. So I just use the stock earbuds just fine. I recently ordered the bike mount for this case and it shows promise as an excellent accessory. Over all an excellent case that does exactly as promised and while the case is more bulky than my Slider Incase it has much less bulk than I was expecting from this much protection.

It's a little on the pricey side, although I got it on sale... it seems to really be waterproof, although I don't want to risk swimming with it. Touch screen works great, thumbprint is sometimes iffy with it. Has some nice color options, and give peace of mind :)
