I bought this Lifeproof Fre case for my son who has a iphone 5c. He is very accident prone and has had to replace his screen twice. After buying this new case I feel confident that his phone will be free of cracks in the future.

I was really afraid of dropping my iPhone in a puddle of water - which I did with an older phone so I bought this case. Protects my phone but doesn't add a lot of bulk. And you can still see the color of the phone thru the case

The only reason I don't give this a 5 star rating is the fact that it's a little harder to hear with the case. But the protection you get makes it worth it.

I haven't tested the waterproof feature but it appears to be a solid, easy to use case for the active user. It is pricey, but one drop into the lake and a saved $350 phone will be worth every penny.

The case protects the phone when dropped - even if in water. However I do not like the screw and adapter for the earphones. Very incongruent.

The lifeproof case, gives amazing protection for my phone, the only issue is with the sound, due to the waterproof nature of the case it is really sealed up and this seems to muffle the ringtone, I actually cut out the membrane that covers the speaker openings, it is no longer waterproof, and I'm sure it voids the warranty, but now I can hear it ring. I think it would work very well as is for people who keep their phone on vibrate

Some people say they have trouble hearing me, which seems to be the only downside to the case so far. Other than that it protects my phone.

This case, like all Life Proof cases provides excellent protection for your phone from water and impact damage. My only complaint with this case, and this seems to be a problem with all Life Proof cases, is that it will somewhat muffle my voice when I am making a call and I will find myself having to talk louder so the other party can hear me. I recommend this case for it's protective features, but it does have a downside.

I love the protection this case offers my phone, but the speaker area muffles the volume level and the pictures seem to look faded.

This phone case has come in handy for my son. The first case kept his phone safe when he jumped into the pool with his phone in his pocket. He did this a number of times and had no trouble. The last time he was in over 9 ft of water and for over 30 minutes and that is when it failed. This is the second case and it is working great. Just don't take it lower than 6 1/2 feet in the water and you will be fine.

It is very easy to use this case with my phone. The color matched perfectly with my phone. It has protected my phone already.

This is great because it is lightweight, slim but tough. It is much better at letting sound through than the older versions.

My phone is still like new from keeping it in the case. Almost 2 years old. Does make it a little harder to hear.

I bought this for my teenage daughter and its great ...no concerns about it dropping or getting wet even while she listens to her music in the shower!

So I had one of these for my iPhone 4 and was rather disappointed. This version? Awesome. The screw in audio out headphone jack maintains the water resistance and allows for standard 1.8mm headphones secure connection. Previously, version4 had to purchase this separately and without it, your beats by dre were unable to plug in. I fumble dropped this phone while riding my Harley at some 20 mph. Not even a scratch! And the phone still works like a champ!

solid case but not bulky . It is waterproof, shockproof, weatherproof and even dirt proof. Little pricey

My daughter likes this case. She has not broken her phone yet. It is a very durable case.

Works awesome and definitely protects my phone from drops and scratches, and still really easy to use the phone with the case on

This case is way overpriced. I think a good price point would be 29.99. As far as the protection it provides it is excellent.
