I bought this case for my teenager it does a great job protecting the phone and is not bulky. The screen protector part of the case takes a little getting used to where you may have to press firmly on the screen for it to acknowledge your touch

Let me start off by saying the last thing I want to put on my phone is a LifeProof case. But summer is here which means boating at the lake, lawn and garden work, swimming in the pool... etc... There's just nothing else that provides the water and dirt proof protection that the LifeProof does. I have used these cases for years and I will say they are better now than they used to be. People used to complain that they could not hear me or that I sounded "muffled" if I didn't hold the phone just right. Not really hearing those types of complaints now. Also, I'm not having problems hearing like I used to. The quality seems to have gotten better over the years. I'm only giving 4 stars because there is still the annoying rainbow effect on the screen. Other than that, there is nothing that will keep the dirt and water out like a LifeProof.

My daughter has already ruined one phone when she got caught in a bad rainstorm with a case that was supposedly waterproof. This is my daughters second Life Proof case. The first one kept her phone dry after being dropped in a creek. The case was ruined in a separate incident but her phone survived. This case is the replacing the ruined one.

Got this case to protect phone on a 5 day canoe trip where I planned to use it for photos and as a backup GPS unit. The case is light and relatively slim for a shock and waterproof case. Worked great with my iPhone SE

Got this case for my sons iphone. Fits great. Waterproof as he goes fishing often and don't have to worry about "oops my phone got wet". Also, light weight. Very nice protective stylish cover.

I had read about how the waterproofing hurt sound quality before I purchased the case. I do notice the sound isn't as good when I'm watching videos, but it isn't bad enough that I would give up the waterproof protection. A warning, because of the thickness of the case the charging port access is deep and nearly impossible to remove the charger without pulling on the cord in a way that is likely to eventually break it. I found a cheap adapter/extender online I hope will last and preserve my charging cord. The headphone jack requires a special adapter that is included but not always around when you need it. I like the color and the waterproofing has made it possible to use my phone in the hot tub, so I'm happy with it.

My husband's last Lifeproof case lasted almost as long as as his phone, which was an unexpected 4 years. As a construction electrician, he is not easy on his phone, and these cases make the grade for protecting a fragile, but important, piece of equipment. They are worth the price.

This is my third of these cases. They seem to last about 1 year- at least for me. I work construction and my phone is in and out constantly every day. I've dropped my phone several times and- no damage. The screen cover area is where I've had issues with the edge peeling away after a years use. Also, the clear back window where the Apple logo shows through also separated from the case. You must use the included adapter to listen to the headphone output. I use the lightning USB adapter to connect my Dragonfly USB DAC for better quality sound. If you can find it on sale- $40 at BB in December it's a good deal. I'd rather spend $40/year than buy a new phone.

I've read reviews and also have purchased In the past. These phone cases are the only way to go for my boys. We had encountered many different issues/damage to phones before we began to purchase these cases. Since we began to use the, they have not had any damage to the phone.

If you are going to spend THAT much money on a cell phone you might as well spend a little bit more to protect your investment. Cell phone are not unbreakable, and until they make them having a good case is the next best thing.

Life proof cases do provide excellent protection. They're watertight, drop resistant and probably provide you the best protection for your phone. The downside is they are pricey.

I recently purchased an iPhone SE and added it to my account, so that I could use it almost exclusively while driving with Lyft to reduce the “wear and tear” on my main Android cell phone. Knowing that I was going to be using my new SE a lot out on the road as well as the fact that I want to eventually give it to my mom in perfect shape, I immediately thought of Lifeproof — known for its outstanding record at protecting mobile phones in almost every condition imaginable without all the bulkiness that comes along with most other protective cases — and was thrilled to find this Lifeproof case for the SE at my local Best Buy. Since purchasing it, I’ve dropped the phone once on the pavement and upon checking for any damage that drop may have caused, I quickly came to the conclusion that both the Lifeproof case as well as the iPhone SE it protects had not been damaged at all and that both still looked brand new, with not even a scratch on either of them. Furthermore, if anything ever goes wrong with this case that shouldn’t have, Lifeproof will replace it through their awesome warranty that comes with all their cases. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend this product to anybody who is looking for a case that not only provides the ultimate level of protection for their mobile device, but also isn’t bulky — so it looks great too!

So far the phone has never suffered any damage while in the LifeProof. They are not terribly durable, thus the 4 instead of 5 rating, and must be replaced periodically when the rubber gets ripped on either side of the volume controls in iPhone 5S, or after a drop or two causes the clear screen to separate from the rest of the case. If they were slightly less pricey, the need to replace periodically would not be as painful. Also, the first two I owned had some issues with the screen cover not being quite flat, which made navigation difficult. The newest one I have does not have this issue, not sure whether they fixed it or I just got lucky.

I bought this for my iPhone SE. Does the intended job and feels very secure. This is not my first LifeProof case, and won't be my last. In the past I've had poor sound quality on phone calls with the case on. I did not have that problem with this case.

Not too expensive, but a good waterproof case. Easy to install over your iPhone. It did save me once already from dropping it in the water.
