He dropped getting out of SUV that sits a little high off the ground and took the drop like a champ. Does add weight and makes the phone look bigger, but so did every other case I've seen for phones today so not an issue for us.

However, my Lifeproof cases always last less than a year before they start to break a little here or there. I've also dropped my phone on my marble floor many times, no damage. That being said, I'll still buy them. Make sure to register for the warranty.
