Dropped the phone a few times, and it recovers well. It's a little annoying that you have to have the cable adapter for the audio out, but at least it comes with the case. Material of the case is good for grip.

The first one got pretty banged up over the past year two years and it was time for a new one since hers was pretty scratched up. This case has saved the phone many times from drops and water damage and the phone looks brand new outside the case.

We bought it before we went to the beach and he noticed some condensation in the case after being at the pool. He didn't have it in the water just had water splashed on it and around it. Was very hot as well. I will be contacting Lifeproof to discuss it.

It seems like there is a bit of confusion here. Your case should have come with a headphone adapter that will allow you to use an aux cord with the case.
