Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

Sturdy but not satisfied

I feel that things aren't as loud in volume nor sounds as clear! Muffled almost! Headset cord is also a let down, always used headphones successfully with otter box case unlike this one! Love the real tree camouflage decor

We appreciate your feedback! We are sorry that this FRE case seems to be hindering the sound on your iPhone 6/6s and that you are not a fan of the headphone adaptor.
The adaptor is necessary to keep the case waterproof while using headphones and to make sure that a wide variety of auxiliary cords fit properly.
Sometimes muffled sound can be caused by dirt or debris on the audio vents. We suggest to check for debris around those areas and if they are dirty to run water over the outside of the case (focusing on the audio vent locations), then shake the water off and pat it down dry. Do not stick any objects in the audio vents as this may damage those areas. Much like a bear, please do not poke the audio vents.
