The actual phone screen is much easier to take care of for sure! The little door you have to undo to charge your phone is difficult to open and causes a problem.

Other than this one issue we always have the case is ok.

Although technically it is a one year warranty, we are still glad to assist after the first 12 months as long as we have inventory available in our warranty warehouse.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my 4th (soon to be 5th) iPhone LifeProof case, went through two on my 5 and now my 2nd on my 6s. I was able to do a warranty claim for my iPhone 5, but my iPhone 6s case lasted just past the 1 yr warranty before failing. So off to BB to buy a new one last week - one corner does not snap down all the way, so it is not water tight and I will have to return. I only keep going back to LifeProof because I want water tight and it is still thin enough for your pocket compared to the much larger OtterBox. Pretty dissatisfied with them overall though.

It's somewhat alive still
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't even had my life proof case a year and though I've dropped it a lot and my phone is still alive it definitely is not water proof anymore. The first piece that broke was where my hanger cord plugs in and that was maybe 5 months after I had it. Then the rubber casing to turn my phone on silent/ring started opening. Now that we are about 10 months in all the rubber edging is starting to go away. However, my phone is still alive! So I guess as long as I don't plan to submerge it into water then I'll keep it on for awhile longer. I have heard I could send back the case but I don't know how and the website seems a little complicated, but we shall see!

It's hard to get it to switch and mine actually ripped as I tried it the first time and now my case is no longer water proof.

The box said it works with the 6s, but it closed just fine without the phone in the case. Will be getting a new case soon enough.
