Our apologies for any confusion regarding our One-Year Limited Warranty, but you actually don't need to formally register the case for us to get you a replacement LifeProof case should the need arise. Best Buy is an authorized dealer of LifeProof products. Any LifeProof case that is sold from Best Buy does come with the same One-Year Limited Warranty that comes with our cases sold at other stores or from our direct website. To my surprise when I opened it, it was missing the cover for the headphone jack and did not have the elastic interior to seal from water coming in. Needless to say, I couldn't use it. Now I am past the 15 return/exchange policy with a brand new case that I can't use for its intended purposes.

Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the speaker and microphone membranes on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.
