I can't, however, get past the 'cheap' plastic it's made of, not to mention the color. I thought, as most online purchases go regarding color, that it would be better in person. Not the case. Very cheap looking and feel. I didn't use the case and will probably save it for hard times, when I (or a friend) really needs a case asap.

Looks like there might have been some confusion as to if your previous review was posted, as we are seeing a similar thought on a few here, but just to reiterate Best Buy is an authorized dealer. There is no need to formally register the LifeProof case to take advantage of the One-Year Limited Warranty on the case.

The product leaked and the cell phone got wet.

It failed to keep the cell phone dry and now the cell phone no longer works. Hopefully the warranty/guarantee actually has some substance and will help with the cost of replacing the cell phone.

We are sorry that this FRE case is making it difficult to hear your iPhone 6/6s. We fully understand why this would be disappointing and we certainly want to rectify this unusual dilemma as soon as possible.
Sometimes this can happen if the case was not installed correctly or if dirt gets into the audio vents. Rinsing out the audio vents on the case with water will remove any debris that might be there. Shake out the water and pat dry, do not stick any objects into the audio vents as this may damage those areas.

We are sorry that your Purple FRE is not exactly what you had in mind when it comes to color. Unfortunately, even though we do our best to put up an accurate representation of the color of the case, sometimes things can get lost in translation, so to speak, due to different monitors, etc.
Fortunately Best Buy is great about returns, so you should be able to get this straightened out with relative ease if you decide that this shade will not work.
