We’re sorry you are getting a bit of a rainbow effect on this FRE’s screen protector. Applying a very fine puff of baby powder on to the inside of the screen protector can be very helpful in taking care of that “rainbow effect” you are noticing.
To do this you will want to place the front case assembly on a flat surface with the inside of the screen facing towards you. Then, from approximately 1-2 feet above the screen protector (on the inside of the case) blow or puff the faintest, virtually invisible layer of powder over the case, and allow it to settle on the inside of the screen protector.
If you get too much on the case, wipe off the powder and try again. Finally, when you reinstall your device into the case, we’d suggest that you place your phone facedown into the screen protector first and then attach the backside of the case.
All of this should take care of the issues that you’re experiencing, but if you find that the symptoms persist, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 1-855-419-7418, and we will be more than happy to set you up with a warranty replacement.

Almost appears as if water blotches exist between screen case and phone screen. Am confident no water has ever touched phone nor is there any water between phone case and phone screen. Just not a perfect fit.

I have a friend that had the same thing happen and they didn't honor any damage to the phone. You can't buy just that piece, you have to buy the entire case again. It's a waste of money. I bought a pelican case to replace this one.
