The lifeproof case is great for outdoor activities, it kept my phone dry and safe at all times however it is difficult to hear when making a phone call.

Bought this for my wife because she loved the colors and we have had Lifeproof cases before. They help up great and protected our devices.

This is thus far my second Lifeproof case, and I must say its so worth it! Fortunately, I bought this purple case for under $60 (Great Deal!) rather than the typical $90-$100. Performance: I literally have gone through 5 phones w/i a yr. because I'm just too clumsy. This case gives me the security I need, especially when IPhones are so fragile nowadays. I take it to my many camping/hiking trips, water parks, and even swimming. If it happens to tear or underperform in some way, you have a year warranty to ask for a replacement. You simply call and give them your case SN# and it's a done deal. No need to return your old case. Cosmetic: When it come to accessories, I'm not a fan of vibrant or neon colors, I prefer something Simple but not too bland. This purple color was just it, so it won't disappoint. Cons: Sound> the sound of your phone will be a little less loud due to the sound being trapped w/i the case. But it's not too bad, it's better than having a broken/scratched phone. Aux Entry: You will need to use a small extension chord (provided with case) to use your aux cable or earphone. The aux entry way are too small due to the case design. You'll just have to remember to carry that small aux extension piece!

Thin and streamline, Not all bulky. Plastic screen protector tends to muffle the speaker and it also makes the sounds squawk when volume is turned up

This case truly is waterproof! Because I purchased my wife a new iPhone 6 your true water exposure on her old phone, it only made sense to find a case that was waterproof. I love the Lifeproof case. It has saved me numerous times! Only down fall is that I am sometimes told I sound muffled.

I've had a few of these and they are great cases. Not as protective as other types of cases but these are thinner and lightweight.

I dropped my phone so many times than I know for a fact that this case is the best. Very thin yet very protective.

This is my third Lifeproof and I've never been let down with drops or submersions. Once it even fell off my balcony onto a cement slab and not even a crack. Easy to set up. Only issue is that, likely because of the waterproof feature, callers sometimes cannot hear me. I usually just have to pull the phone into a different position.

Total protection from the elements. Water, snow, dirt and dust. Built in screen protector & camera lens protection. Very happy with purchase.

The lifeproof is a good case but the main reason I buy it is for being waterproof. Based on prior experiences I don't fully trust the case but overall it provides good protection in a slim design. Don't get me wrong, I recommend the case but when taking it in and around water inspect the seal and openings. Avoid removing the case as much as possible.

I got this for $49.99 during holiday sales to protect the iPhone, looks better than otter box and gives the same protection.

It makes sense to use a good case to protect a good phone. This one does the job! Protects against drops, water and more.

Nice slim line case that provides some shock resistance but its main benefit is that it is completely waterproof to up to 3m. I have tested this (unintentionally) on 2 occasions and was not disappointed either time. The headphone jack is a bit inconvenient as it requires an adapter to be used with most 1/8" headphone plugs.

I bought a LifeProof over a year ago when I upgraded to the iPhone 6. I bought it on the same day and immediately put the phone in it's case and it has been removed under 10 times. The case itself is a life saver. My phone looks brand new has no scratches or dents and my case bears all these marks. It has been dropped on concrete, bath tile, had marmalade smeared on it, dropped in a cereal bowl, thrown at me (by a toddler), etc. The case itself is amazing and definitely worth the price if you need that level of protection, which I do, with or without a child. I wanted to write a review specifically for the newer version of the case. I'm well aware of the little irritations of the last case and was very pleased to see they had improved on their design and had already delivered the updated case to the market. Some of the improvements include: - Extra padding bar on the back inside case (vs. only one in the prior case) - Firmer rubber front edging (my original black case it was softer) - Easier "silent" button (previous case it was extremely difficult to easily turn the ringer on silent) - Higher internal ring casing (the rubber banding that is inside to help keep the seal stays in place. Previous case it had to be held in place while trying to snap the pieces together) - Speaker wholes are slightly bigger allowing for more sound in to and out of the phone - Charging port is wider so that you can now use products other than the original apple charger (previous cases it was too small and nothing but the Apple Lightning charger would fit without case removal) - Charging protective cover has a higher 'catch' so it's harder to get open and more stable. While this might seem like a bad thing, the last case it was easy to get open and when my toddler grabbed it I'd sometimes see her chewing on the inner rubber or I'd find myself nervously opening and closing it continually)

This is a great case for those of us who are accident prone. I had it for my iPhone 5s as well. I drop my phone all the time but it is always fine. The case doesn't interfere with use of phone in any way. It seemed bulky at first but I got used to that quickly and don't mind it at all. I feel better knowing my phone is safe from me.

This case is great. It actually is waterproof and provides very sturdy protection. Definitely recommend.

I love this case. It is vey thin so you still get the feel of your phone. This case is shock, dust, and waterproof!!
