This case is remarkably slim for the protection it offers, and being for such a massive phone, that's important. While I haven't been throwing my phone around any more than usual now that I have the case on, it feels much more protected. I haven't dunked the phone since I put it in the case either, but I did water test the case before installation, and there weren't any leaks. The problems I have are more with the nature of the case than anything. The speakers are slightly muffled since the case covers them with thin membranes, and photos are occasionally blurry, since the membranes cover the camera and sensors as well. The fingerprint reader - also covered by a membrane - seems to be ever so slightly less sensitive, but that's again the nature of the case. I'm not happy with how much the screen cover attracts lint, I think the front bumpers could be a little less pronounced and holy butts is it expensive... but considering how much the phone costs and the protections this case adds, I'd say it's worth the price!

Like all Lifeproof cases, the build quality for the Pixel Lifeproof is excellent. If you are around water or have a fear of getting your phone wet, this is definitely the case you'll want to have to eliminate those worries. The only minor problem, as with all waterproof cases, is that the sound is a little muffled inside the case and people have a hard time hearing you through the microphone, but that is an expected trade off for waterproof capability.

This case was easy to install, fits my Pixel XL really well, and doesn't feel overly plastic or bulky. I purchased a different rugged case by a popular brand before trying this case and swapped over immediately. The fact that's it's waterproof is also a major upgrade. So far it seems worth the price tag and I doubt I'll go ever go back.

This version of life proof case is much better than earlier versions of their products that I have purchased years ago as far as sound clarity. Although the clear plastic cover is hard to keep clean, overall it is a great product. I recommend Lifeproof to keep your phone safe when around water.

I tried another case that I purchased online. The first one I purchased lasted 2-3 months. Purchased another identical one which broke within a week. Then decided it was better to purchase at a local store. Spent more than planned, but this case is perfect!

I've had many LifeProof cases in the past, but this one seems to be muffled more then usual. Worked well for camera.

I have owned LifeProof cases since my first smart phone over 10+ years. This is the ONLY case I have been disappointed in. The case protects the phone great, but you cannot use your phone or answer calls while the phone is in the case... UNLESS you use earbuds to listen to the call. Buy an Otter Box for this phone model.

Very nice case, personally i am not a big fan of bulky cases but i need it for a vacation this summer. My only one issue is when i make phone calls my phone screen goes black and i can no longer do anything on it till the other person hangs up. Even worse when the other person doesnt answer and then im stuck on a black screen having to power cycle my phone.

Love this product. Now no worries about my phone getting wet

As a golf course Superintendent, I am outside in the elements for 90% of my day. I encounter sand, water, fertilizer, and so on and this case has held up amazingly well despite my work environment.

I have previously had a LifeProof case for a different phone so I know that it protects and can handle being dropped, etc. Yes it makes the phone bigger, but I have no worries about my phone being damaged.

This is a wonderful case! However, I got the wrong case for my phone so I have to return it. But, I live LifeProof cases.
