As a protective case, it does it's job. But it has it's flaws too. You can get similar or in some cases, better protection, for half the price of what this thing costs. The upside is that the company will ship you out a replacement case for no charge if you run into any issues.

This is a good case. Protects it from the elements as advertised. Only draw back is over time the screen protector gets hazey and reduces your clarity of your phone. Wish they made the version without the screen like they have for Apple products

I purchased this case due to its claims as water proof. Its alot thinner than the otter boxes i worried about if i drop my phone (havent yet) due to it being so thin. It appears to be water tight to plug in my head phones u have to unscrew the section of the case for it and screw in a special attachment to keep it water prooffyi a huge pain. Thats the o ly down side to the case it that u have do that to pkug in head phones.

This case is made from obviously high quality materials and it is manufactured to a very precise fit. It is nice when the case relieves you of the expense and aggravation of installing a screen protector. On the downside, while it is more compact than the typical Otter Box, it still makes an already large phone even larger. That alone wouldn't warrant a rating of only 3, unfortunately it has one fairly major flaw. Somehow the screen protector interferes with the light detector so your always on screen and sometimes even the unlocked screen is almost impossible to use in a dark room. They have been made aware of this, don't know if it's been addressed or not. While I clicked the not recommend to a friend actually I would with reservations. If you don't use the light sensor it might be good for you as is.

Did the water test when I bought and after each time it got wet. Worked great until the blue grommet didn't line up correctly one of the times I took my phone out and my phone got wet. Overall its a great case if used correctly. Little overpriced for me but oh well.

I've dropped my phone several times and the case only has a couple scratches. Definitely saved my phone. I don't like the glare from the screen protector and the screen protector scratches way too easy.

The cover provides optimum protection against water and impact damage while not hindering reaction from tactile contact on the screen. The only drawback is the price. $70.00 plus is rather steep.

This is a great case, although it does take your sleek phone and cover it with plastic. It's a compromise, if you swap LG Friends modules often this isn't the case for you. If your G5 is a normal phone and you don't worry about drops or water, this is prefect. It just lets you live your life without worry about the phone. Two small points that keep me from giving it 5 stars. You may or may not have headphones that will fit into the well. I had to try a few pairs. If you use speakerphone often, it may sound really muffled so you'll have to hold it much closer than normal.

I finally broke down and bought an actual phone protection case. I never liked the bulkiness of an Otterbox and the Lifeproof case solved that problem.

I was surprised how much of a physical beating from drops this case was. It felt good in the hand (and pocket), didn't mess up the screen's clarity in any way, and didn't interfere with the fingerprint reader. However, the waterproof rating is absurd, as my phone suffocated from a 5 second splash in the toilet. Would not recommend buying for water rating, though the feel and drop resistance do somewhat mitigate this.

I got this case because my phone is under a lease and I didn't want anything to happen to it. No problems. Fits like a glove. Easy to put on the phone. The only negative thing I can say is that the spot for headphones is covered by a screw in protector so my corded headphones no longer fit. I got bluetooth headphones and the problem was solved.

There were few options for cases for the LG G5. LifeProof seemed to offer the best of both worlds as there weren't any screen protectors available. The case is supposed to be waterproof, I haven't tested it and don't plan to. It's fairly easy to get on and off, the only thing you have to be careful of is the screen of both the phone and the case needs to be lint free and clean. No problems with touch screen. It's just not particularly pretty, it was only available in black.

This case is too expensive and bulky! However, if you are someone that uses your smartphone in or near water, then it's a good idea to have this case. I do NOT use my smartphone in or near water so I do not recommend this product as there are many other lower priced, high quality alternatives.

I don't have the best of luck with phones because I neglect them a lot. My last phone was built waterproof and had a milspec rating so I never worried about a case, that phone took a beating. When I upgraded to the G5 I knew I needed a case and the only one I was going to buy was a lifeproof. I've dropped it at least a dozen times already -usually getting out of my car. It has held up as expected. I haven't done much around water to comment on its waterproof capabilities, but have friends whom swam with theirs so I expect it will be just fine. Overall a great case.

I've never had Lifeproof cases till I tried this one and I have to say I was kinda disappointed. I understand that in order to make the case waterproof you have to have the covering over the speaker for your ear for when you're on the phone, but it greatly diminishes the quality of sound coming out of the speaker. It vibrated and sounded like everyone was trying to talk through a piece of cellophane. It also made the external speaker sound pretty bad too. It's ok if you can deal with that and also don't have a phone with a removable battery because it is such a pain to take off the phone to switch the battery pack (like on the LG G5 I had the lifeproof on), or to attach any accessories. If you plan on just leaving the phone in the case then it's definitely a durable case.

The Lifeproof case for the LG G5 is a great fitting, durable phone protection solution. It has a great "hand-feel" and doesn't interfere with device usage. However, after a week of use including several (probably upwards of a dozen drops), the screw-in waterproof headphone port plug tether has broken, and the charge port waterproofing element won't stay in place. Good tight fit and extremely light and durable. Plastic over the screen can get dirty or dusty which can be annoying. Must take case off to change out battery.

Case fit well and gives all protection to phone that you need. Not too bulky and still slips easily in pocket or purse. Worth the money.

Summary says it all! Great fitting case with integrated screen protector. I have less stress knowing my phone is so well protected!

This product has good protection for the phone. Plastic screen scratches very easly. Case also reduces the sound level of the phone. Sometimes it is hard to hear..
