We got the lifeproof case for the Galaxy S4. It is a solid phone case that will provide great protection. The best thing about this case is that it is waterproof. Spills, casual water, rain, etc are not a problem for this case. I don't think we will take it into the pool but so far so good with casual water getting on the phone. It is a little expensive but if the waterproof quality holds up, it will be worth it.

I bought this to use while on a cruise. I used it in the ocean and while climbing Dunns River Falls in Jamaica. I got great pictures and video with no damage to my phone. My only complaint is that i must not have gotten all the moisture/dust off the phone screen before placing it in the case. Once the case was immersed in water it was hard to get the touchscreen to be responsive. I did not use the phone for calling or listening to music while in the case.

Purpose: Provide Mil-Spec protection for my cell phone. Equipment: Samsung S4 Galaxy Result: Perfect fit. Impermeable. 100% protection until charge port cover detached due to repeated use. Only negative for an otherwise well-designed and effective piece of kit.

Unit is small enough to place in purse, yet protects the phone. Is somewhat hard to take apart to get phone in and out. Use it for vacation

I have to be honest - it was a bit pricey, but I DO feel that my expensive investment for my smart phone is well protected. I do have a minor problem so far, to be honest - the cover that hinges open and closed where you plug in your charger snapped off. I need to check back to see my warranty, I hope this is covered, especially for the money I paid.

I need to have rapid access to my phone but this case doesn't have one. Over all I recommend this case for its phone protection.

Bought as a replacement for the Otterbox Commuter. Fits well, nice size, functions ok. Clear plastic on back scratches easily.

Durable and great for water activities but sometimes it is difficult to hear phone calls.

I've dropped my phone a hundred times and it's never cracked, it's always just the case that gets scuffed BUT there's always dust mysteriously getting in on the screen. I've traded it in for a replacement bUT it was the same problem. I still recommend it though. Haven't tried it underwater so it'll how well it is with water. Hasn't messed up with rain hitting it though

Definitely a great protective case. Has sustained many 4ft + falls and not even popped apart. Built in screen protector is always a must. Only negate is that I feel like it covers the mic and muffles your voice unless talking directly into it.

Protects my phone from everything, wish I had one for my last phone.

I like the fit and function of the case. This is my work phone and my first Samsung Galaxy S5. I have an iPhone 6plus but like the slim fit and light feel of the LifeProof case. Haven't dropped it into water or on the ground, but seems well built and up for the task.

The bottom flap broke off after a couple charging times, making it not water proof. The opening isn't large enough for most charging cables. Must have a thin one. Good otherwise

I feel safe with the product, however, people tell me all the time it's hard to hear me. I returned the first one thinking another would be better but it's not much. Sound is poor.

I had bought this after hearing so many good reviews. This is water proof but not dust proof. I had a Seidio case before this one and it was much better.

I love the concept and protection the case provides, but ultimately I ended up returning it because everyone complained that they couldn't hear me. It would also cause the main home button to stick every once in a while. Hopefully they can find a way to solve the problem, but for now it's pretty useless if you actually plan on talking on your phone without a headset.
