Does a good job of protecting the phone has a small profile so does not make the phone hard to carry

I recently lost back to back brand new iPhone models due to water damage before switching to the "waterproof/resistant" Samsung with this case. While I have yet to test the case underwater with the phone inside I can say that it it is as good as any for drop/ impact resistance and I did do the manufacturer recommended submerging test (without phone inside) and the interior was completely dry. The only negatives using the case are sacrifices in sound and photo quality due to being completely sealed, but if you are buying this case it's obviously for water and damage resistance which for the price of a new phone is much more important in my opinion.

Awesome phone cases! Living near the water a waterproof case is a must! Fixed the headphone jack plug that was an issue on the case for the S5. Has protected my and my spouse's phones from multiple drops - on land and in water. Unlike some cars, you can actually hear your calls through this case. Only gripe is the charging port cover which had broken on each of our cases, but Lifeproof replaced them with no hassle.

This case is extremely light weight and small profile. It does not add much size or weight to your device. Even though the phone is water resistant, this case will give you the confidence that it is now waterproof and will withstand any normal fall you might expect.

Love my life proof case. Provides excellent protection for my Galaxy and doesn't have the bulky feeling of an Otter Box case. Only negative is price.

Fully waterproof, dust proof and drop proof as well. I have had a life proof on every phone I have owned and would highly recommend them. The only down fall is it does lower the speaker volume and sometimes the clarity is bad.

This will double the water and dust protection that the galaxy s7 already has plus add protection from drops and snow. Perfect slim case and unlike the one made for the s4 before the person on the other end of the conversation will be able to hear you. Will work with wireless charging dock. Every bit of your phone is covered right down to the camera and heart sensor.

This is a great, definitely durable phone case. It fits the phone wonderfully and seems to be as advertised, water resistant. This leads to the only problem. It's overcomable but requires patience. The gasket that resides in a sealing channel tended to not want to lie flat, or stay in place, especially at the corners. One must carefully work the gasket in and around the channel as you fit the backing plate. Otherwise it seems the gasket will sever along with your water resistant seal.

I have been using it for a year and it has protected my cell phone very well. The only problem I find is the type of rubber that has the cover, because little by little it has been coming out.

Lifeproof makes a great case. No doubt about it. This kept my phone safe from drops and dry, which was my main concern in my line of work. My only beef with the case was that it trapped a little moisture inside that would make a little hazy spot where the screen protector and screen met. No amount of drying packs/rice/paper towels/etc would get that moisture out of the case. A small issue and it had zero effect on the functionality of the phone, but it was annoying.

The case works well however it does make it difficult to hear phone calls and the door for charge port wears out and won't stay closed

Very sturdy and waterproof. Not tried under water yet. I only see two drawbacks and this first one probably no fix for. When snap cover on you cannot hear person on other end very well unless put on speaker phone. This is because no hole for sound come out of. The second is screen seems sratch very easy and don't know how long it will last and does not appear can swap out just the screen. If not for screen I would give 5 star rating.

Works as expected. Waterproof, great bounce protection. If I get automotive fluids on it, I just wash them off. However, the screen protector bunches up at the sides, making the edges hard to use (known issue). Still worth it for lightweight, not much bigger than the phone protection.

I dropped my S7 in its cheap case and cracked the glass. Presto, not waterproof any more. LifeProof comes to save the day. Now my phone is waterproof again! And Best Buy cheerfully matched their competitor's price, which was 50% less! Only complaint is (my friends report) that sometimes it makes me sound like I'm talking in a well.

i was looking for otterbox, but this was available and waterproof - by the test. and much lighter and slimmer. very happy.

I love the Lifeproof case. It has stood the test of time again and again. I am very rough on my phones. I had an Otterbox Defender case a few years back, the phone shattered from a 2 ft fall on the front and back of the phone. I decided to get the money back from Otterbox and put the money towards a Lifeproof case. I am glad I did. It was the best investment I have made for the phone. I am constantly working on cars, dropping the phone, forgetting it is in my pocket when I go swimming, my case has saved it many times. My phone has been run over twice, dropped off second story scaffolding several times, countless drops from chest height, fallen in several rivers, dropped into three gallons of automotive oil, thrown at the wall, thrown at a burglar, dropped on a turbo with an external temperature of 200+ degrees and the case has protected the phone every single time. It has been about a year and a half and I had to buy a new case. Only because my ringer/silence button on the left side of the case has worn out and the case is no longer water proof. Am I complaining about having to buy another after such a short time? No way! The price of two cases over 18 months is way cheaper than having to buy screen or phone replacements. The Lifeproof cases are worth every penny.

My grandson got a hold of the phone and dropped it in the pool, about 7 feet deep. It was several minutes before it was finally fished back out. Not a single drop of water got inside the case!

I've been using life proof cases since they came out for my old iPhone years ago. Now I couldn't imagine not having one. it really changes the way you can use your phone. highly recommended.

This case is the best and most protective I've had for any phone. been dropped on the floor, on concrete, in puddles, in the snow, phone is perfectly safe. Unlike the old lifeproof cases, this one has a lower profile so its not as chunky as the old ones. Looks good too! Only criticism is that sometimes the screen protector is above the surface of the screen on the edges, so can be unresponsive at times. not too often and not a major inconvenience at all.
