Overall great product last all day without needing a charge the finger print button could be a bit more heavy duty but even tossed it in the pool and ocean and it still held up

I love this case that gives my iPhone 6 the protection of a life proof case along with extended battery life. I bought it for a trip to NY when I knew I would be using the 6 for directions, as well as just information, pics, etc. It worked superbly. As I ran out of juice while touring at the end of the day, I pressed the button on the back and the phone charged back up, enabling me to use the phone well into the evening without finding a plug in. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the extra weight. However, given the protection and the extended battery life, I can recommend this if you are willing to put up with the extra weight.

This is my 2nd Lifeproof iPhone product the first was just a case for my iPhone 4 it held up great for the most part the screen cover got scratched and was getting worn fairly bad when I upgraded to the new one. What impressed me the most about Lifeproof products is the durability and the protection that their products provide. I work construction for a General Contractor and have dropped and or created the opportunity for plenty of damage to both of my iPhones and have not had any damage or required any repairs to the phones. The first case for the 4s was still protecting the phone when I bought the new one. It still will provide protection after 30 months of continuous use on a daily basis. I dropped that phone so many times I cannot count them and most of the time was on an active construction site. The new phone case is providing the same quality of protection along with an additional bonus it has an external battery in the case.After 10-12 hours of daily use from 40- 60 phone calls and to reviewing and sending large emails with pictures attached and taking 10-30 pictures a day along with multiple text messages the battery in the phone tends to run down. Now instead of plugging the phone into my truck or somewhere there is power i just have to push a button on the case and the phone and it recharges itself great product and good quality

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. I had a lifeproof case on my previous IPhone and Ipad and really like them. I wanted a case that was waterproof and provided extra battery so I went with this one. After installing it I made a phone call and the person could barely hear me which made me very frustrated that I spend that much money and it didn't work. I tried re-installing it with no luck. I went to the lifeproof website and didn't get the right answers for fixing it, but remembered a review that I saw that talked about it. I went back on some reviews I saw and it said to take the case off, blow into the audio ports on the case like blowing out candles. I did that, put the case back on and it worked perfectly. The only cons I have is it comes with a charging cable and you can't use the apple one or others, but that's the perk of having a battery pack in the case. You can purchase more charging cables from the lifeproof website for $10/each. I saw reviews of touch id not working well, but mine has been working fine. There are times I have to do it a couple times but not a big deal. The screen protector is also easily scratched. All in all the case is worth the $.

Waterproof case. Good to have if you are always exposing your phone to water or dirt. The case was made to protect your phone, not to look fancy. Phone feels a little bit heavier with the case and it may not be easy to take off for some people (not the best option for those who like to switch from case to case). The battery backup is really good to have for those times you forget to charge your phone and when compared to the Mophie case it is actually smaller. The case comes with its own screen protector (having an additional screen protector on the phone would cause the case to have a bubble which could be annoying while typing on touch screen).

PROS.....Every one knows the brand including my self, so i bought it without a second though. Phone is well protected and the case is well made, material seams good quality and durable so you know it well last. extra battery feature makes this case ideal for the short battery issue known on iPhones. CONS.......Bye, bye slick sexy looking iPhone (grandma said that this case was not lady like). This case makes the phone twice as thick and heavier and you most carrie the headphone adapter to use it with corded headsets, also the charger port is the android style connector (mini usb), so you won't be able to use car accessories/connector to hook it to you car stereo with lightning cord, you most remove case for this. No able to add a glass screen protector like the older lifeproof case but phone is protected anyways. Personally I'm ok with this issues but the one I really dislike is the fact that you really need to hit the screen of the phone harder in many occasions, like texting and such and the finger print scan is also effected by the plastic. If you can deal with this issues, buy the case your phone will be well protected.

This case works exactly as advertised.....waterproof, shatterproof and extends battery life. It's a bit bulky but I guess that comes with the territory. For that reason, I don't use this as a day to day case. Instead, it's perfect for any outdoor activities....kayaking, golfing, camping, etc.

Both of my teenage sons got the Lifeproof external battery case for Christmas. One loved it and used it because he could be on his phone all day and usually night and not have to charge it. It kept his phone well protected and he didn't have any screen cracks or cracks to the phone. My other son did not use his because it made his phone too big and bulky. People often comment on how heavy it makes the phone. It's a trade off. It does what it says and adds more than twice the battery life and protects the phone well.

Pros: Good protection for device. Additional battery life is useful. Cons: Makes the phone quite bulky as compared to a normal life proof. Must use micro usb cable to charge phone. Conclusion: I would buy this case again, I just wish it had lightening support and wasn't quite so bulky.

I've been a huge fan of LifeProof cases for years now, so when I got a new iPhone 6s over the holidays I was thrilled to see that they had come out with a case that also had a battery pack. It works perfectly, but there are a few issues. For one, it uses a micro USB cord to charge it, suddenly making all of your existing cords completely useless unless you take the phone out of its case. Aside from the fact that the cord is also really short, when I tried to charge my phone by connecting it to my computer the phone rapidly kept switching between charging and not charging mode repeatedly. Evidently you can only charge the phone in this case by plugging it into a wall outlet. It is also fairly heavy, but that's not surprising. All that being said, it really does add an extra phone battery's worth of charge while still offering all of the benefits of a regular LifeProof case. Hopefully the next generation of this case will work out the kinks, but as is I still love it.

This is my second life proof power case. I really enjoy the protection and extra battery life. What I'm disappointed in is the short life spand and the lack of customer support when the product starts to fail. First case lasted about 7 months total but started experiencing issues within 5 months. Phone and case were stored in the wife's purse or her back pocket, no big impacts and still the case material started to break down in spots. Then the battery wouldn't fully charge and then seemed like it would wear down her phones battery quicker. However the sale price paired with the protection and extra power (until the battery fails) justified repurchase, even if it's for just 5-7months because it would cost more replace the phone. Would recommend but after explaining he pros and cons. Also case does add bulk to phone but for the level of protection it's to be expected.

Got this case because my phone helped dying on me while I'm out. A little pricy, but totally worth it. When everyone's phones die, I have no worry about mine. No need to scramble for a outlet, if you even brought a charger. Great buy, extremely happy. A little heavy at first, but I've gotten used to it pretty quick.

Great to have to protect phone and also a spare battery charge when not near a charging station. Does add a little weight but negligible for the convenience

Overall I believe this case serves the simple purpose of recharging my iPhone 6 (1 time) when the battery is less than 20%. The case does make the phone a little heavier to carry around but that was expected. It is waterproof, screen protected and quite durable which are positives. The only "con" would be that I typically only get 1 full charge from the case.......maybe that's standard (not sure) but it still meets my overall purpose of getting more length to usage of the phone.

This is a solid case for both battery and water! I use a lot of apps (waze and jabber) that drain my battery quickly! This keeps me going. I had to replace my last one as I wore out the silence, volume toggle part of the cover to the point water would be able to get in if I dropped it in the water. It took over a year, but for the price point, I would have liked it to last a little longer...which is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5.

This lifeproof fre power case works great as an extra battery backup. Charge the case and phone at the same time. Use the phone battery first, then you can turn on the backup case battery to charge your phone when it dies. When your phone battery is fully charged with the case it automatically turns the case off so you can charge more later. We bought this for my husbands phone and he loves it. His battery was dieing partway through the day because he had poor service. Now he can go two days between charging from the wall outlet. It's also great that it's waterproof. He works around water on a daily basis. His phone fell in and was sitting in 6 feet of water. When he fished it out the phone worked great and was totally dry inside.

Absolutely love this case. I've got my phone a couple times and no damage. Definitely keeps all of the water out and the extra battery charge is a lifesaver. I did have a glass screen protector on my iPhone and if that stays on your phone it makes it a little difficult to use the touchscreen near the middlebecause the edges of the glass protector push the clear plastic up and off the face of the phone. You can still use this case with a glass screen protector on your phone but you might have to tap just a little harder or a little longer in some spots. So I would recommend taking the glass protector off if you have this case. Other than that it works exactly as you would expect.

I had heard of Lifeproof from friends, and I was on the lookout for a great case that met my all of my needs while also being a color I liked. I had the same case without the battery in my hand when I saw this case with the battery. Best Buy folks priced-matched this case,so it was almost the same price as the nonbattery case. Woo Hoo! I put it to the test at a pouring down rain Penn State football game three days later. My phone/camera was totally protected, and I had the battery backup right there so that I just had to press a button and not fumble with external pieces. This case is awesome, strong, and convenient!

I purchased the LifeProof Fre Power case after a failed attempt at using another brand. With my old phone, I used the LifeProof Nuud and loved it. I decided to purchase a battery case when I upgraded phones, and decided to save a couple dollars and try another brand based on hours of research and reviews. The other brand didn't protect the phone, the case scratched, and the color wore off the case very quickly. The LifeProof cases stand up phenomenally to all wear and tear, and the power case is top notch. I get another full charge out of this at least and can usually get another 10% out of it as well.

This is an awesome case that is life proof. It is great for all weather and if you are in rough climates and conditions the case is great. The fact that it charges some times three times on charge is fantastic. The only I wish is there was a way to separately charge your phone from the case. And not always have to do both at the same time.
