Well I went with this case onyl because they did not have the color mophie I wanted and figured Lifeproof had a good reputation so why not give it a try. It is an attractive heavy durable case which is a good plus. I really feel like I could throw in accross the livingroom against a wall and it would survive. I havent tried the waterproof feature and nor will I either beacuse now we get to the major flaw with this unit that is a deal breaker for me and is why I will be returning it after just 4 days. The battery feature is HORRIBLE. Yes it says you get double the battery life, which I saw is highly suspect, but it takes FOREVER to charge. I have tried 3 times now to charge the unit. No I am not over exgagerating here with what I am about to say. If you have used up both the phone and case battery you will need almost 11 hours to fully charge both. That is complete uselessness. There is no way I should be able to plug this thing in right before bed, then wake up have breafast, take a shower get changed and still only have the pack 85 percent charged. If your primary reson for getting the case is for protection then maybe this is fine for you, but if you got it primarily for the extra battery run from this prodect as faast as you can and go with something else.

I'm a bit surprised this didn't keep the consistency of having a lightning cable connection instead of micro usb. I bet they couldn't get mfi certification to do so. The case was a bit challenging to align correctly t close. Also the iphone 6s will show a warning the case may not function properly once connected. Another annoying thing. This was a gift for my niece so she made up her mind about this case trying any other brand like Otterbox.

Finger print plastic broke after two months battery works well.

Does exactly what it says with no issues, from a bucket of water to making phone calls in the rain. I'm constantly running around and beating this case up, never had a problem with it.

Experimented with this case by throwing in a bounty towel. Good thing I didn't put my phone in there! The universal port was wet even after I wiped it down. When uncapping the Universal port area, water tends to leak out a little. This makes me feel much worse knowing that I am charging my phone case with a possibly damaged/wet port.

This is my second Fre Power. Cannot stress how great the extra battery life is for my work. I am now purchasing more Fre Power for my employees.

A waterproof shell to protect my Iphone 6 which also acts as a shock absorber to the display...at this price? Can't be beat!

After 10 months the battery failed but replacement was quick and painless. It was done completely over the phone without a need to send in the defective case, and the replacement arrived promptly. The only additional cost was for shipping and handling.

Works great off the grid with a extra battery u can go all day with out plugging in

Bought this case on June 9,2016. Went to Florida with family and went snorkeling and took phone so I could take pictures while snorkeling. I stayed on the surface the whole time and there was a small amount of water in the case next to the charge port. The case will not charge now after snorkeling. The case won't recharge and it won't charge my phone either. I will be taking it back.

This was a great product initially with a few Achilles heels. As a waterproof case, there are a few places where quick wear and tear occurs which eliminates the waterproof features. The hinged door over the charging port breaks off easily. Also, the volume button covers where easily. Both of these points allow water to enter the case. Lifeproof used to warranty the case for these issues. However they no longer sell this case. They won't refund the purchase price. They will only replace with another case for the phone. In my situation they are sending me a regular Fre case that has no charging battery. At least they are doing this but it wasn't the understanding when I purchased this very expensive case. I feel as if I should have at least been offered products up to the value of the purchase price. This product is obsolete now so I would not buy it.

Purchased case for my iPhone 6. Followed all the directions in putting the case on my phone. My phone got wet and case did not protect it. Now I have a damaged phone. Contacted Lifeproof and there response was sorry, nothing they can do.

First off I tried 2 different life proof power cases, both had battery issues and now after I took them back, now the home button has a stain around the ring on the screen where that wrap was on top of the home button I've tried everything to get it off no can do what a shame !!!

I love the charging aspect of this item and I can drop it 100 times and have no worries. But the first time I used it in the water water got inside of the charging port and got my phone wet :( The seal is not secure enough. It's splash proof but I wouldn't submerge it.

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE! I was told this was a good case. The first one I bough on February 1st, I had to return it for a new one on February 26th because where you plug in the cord to charge became so loose it wouldn't charge. So I thought maybe that was just a dud. Then over the weekend the new one, after only 5 months had the same thing happen. So I had to take it out of the case to charge the phone. I have nerve damage and arthritis in my phone but I didn't have another case, I had to go to my car and give my mileage to Honda for something I need done and the phone slipped right out of my hand and fell on the garage floor. The entire screen cracked. Best Buy won't exchange anything after 30 days so now I have to spend most likely close to $100 on a new case and I had to go to apple and pay $85 for a new screen. I don't have a lot of money because I am my Mom's Caregiver so I can't work, so spending almost $200 because of this faulty case is very upsetting. I don't know what case I'll get but it won't be this brand.

The battery won't charge the phone more than 17% 10 months after purchase. I called Lifeproof and while customer service was friendly and wanted to help whatever knucklehead decides how much product to produce dropped the ball on this one. I purchased a black case and wanted a black case to replace my defective one; however, they no longer have any black cases. Available choices... White or blue. Thanks a lot! Now I'm going to be "that guy" with a white case. SMH.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! I went to a water park and was in 3 ft deep water with it my phone got completely ruined and it was sealed tight. What's the point of having a case that doesn't work, it's a waste of money. The life proof company won't help set the cost for a new phone and will only give me another case which won't do much for me since my phone can no longer work as it has water damage so for your phones safety don't buy it!!
