I purchased this product to help extend the battery life of my iPhone 6, which is does. However, there are cons associated with the product. First, it uses a proprietary cable to charge the case. It appears to be a micro-USB but I've tried other cables and they will not charge the case. Also, due to this special cable, you lose all access to the lightning opening which means that if you need to plug something into the phone, you will not be able to do so without taking off the case. For instance, the radio in my SUV allows me to stream Pandora from my phone if I plug the phone into the radio using a lighting cable. However, with the case on the phone, I can no longer do that. As for extending the battery life, it does not double the battery life so if you are expecting that, forget it. It does allow my phone to last longer but I wouldn't go as far as saying that it doubles the charge because it doesn't. Finally, another drawback to the case is the increase in size. Not much bigger but if you are used to a slim case, you will be able to tell the difference.

The case is great for extra battery power, which is perfect when your on a baseball field all day taking pics. However it is not as slim as the regular LifeProof case (due to the battery). Once you've gotten used to the slim line of the typical LifeProof case, it's a bit of an adjustment. Also the phone plugs into the case, and now to charge both the case and the phone you are tied to the one black cord that comes with the case. Not very convenient if you have primarily iPhone cords throughout the house (upstairs, downstairs, and plugged in the car). Now you have to carry that one black cord and hope you don't lose it! Either that, or you take the phone out of the case to charge, which defeats the whole point of having a LifeProof case. Great concept and charge really is awesome, just not very convenient or user friendly.

I was hesitant to spend the money on this case however since, I bit the bullet I haven't looked back! I have a little one and I'm constantly taking photos of her! Knowing I can take bath/pool/beach/lake photos without the risk of ruining my phone gives me peace of mind! Plus, the fact it has built in battery is nice since, I'm not always around and able to plug in my phone! But, I have battery at 2x now so I'm not stranded without phone access!

Excellent iphone6 case with 100% battery. Covers the phone 100%. Not very heavy. Nice looking. Strong. Says its waterproof. Made very well. It's the only case I would recommend .

Works great. Does exactly what it says. Keeps dry. Protects iphone when dropped. Great case and the extra battery is a great thing to have when phone is used all the time.

This has been the best investment. I listen to streaming music all day at work starting at 0600. It's now 8 pm and thanks to this case my phone is still at 85% I may have missed 2 hours of using my phone for streaming, but I have used it as a flashlight also today. Great for hunters also! I don't have to worry about my husband being without a phone to have access to calls and the GPS if he gets lost in the woods somewhere. A life saving investment! The only con to this case is it uses a microUSB to charge instead of the one that came with my iPhone 6S, but you can leave the charger at home!

The case offers great protection from damage, but I am unable to use the button that controls the ringer volume/ vibrate. Other than that I never have problems with phone losing too much battery power.

It really does works. My phone fell out of my shirt pocket and into the into a hot tub a week after buying it and I was really thankful I had this on it. No damage at all to the phone. The backup battery is a nice feature as well. Only negative I have about this is if you use your own USB cable it will only charge the phone and not the case battery, you have to use the cable that came with it.

I've always been a fan of LifeProof. Because I used one for my iPhone 5, I was able to get more than I paid for it on trade. So when I saw that LifeProof created one for the iPhone 6 with BATTERY CHARGE, there was NO WAY I was going to pass it up. Excellent protection and a battery extender all in one! What more could I ask for?? Nothing! It performs as advertised, both with protection as well as extending battery life. Get it. You won't regret it.

The case does charge your phone and works underwater which is great except there is a small space between the phone screen and the plastic screen protector which makes typing on your phone louder and less accurate response to touch. Something about the case I was looking forward to was the total water protection program which guarentees the case will not damage your phone when you take it under water for at least one year. Unlike other life proof cases I have purchased in the past this one does not come with the guarentee making me skeptical about taking it underwater. Other than those two flaws the case has worked great so far and has saved my phone from numerous drops and water damage and I don't ever have to worry about my battery life with the built in battery pack

I previously had the mophie protective case with the external battery for my iPhone 4S and loved it....no complaints. This Lifeproof case I got for my iPhone 6S is just okay and here are the reasons: 1. You have to unscrew the screw to plug in your earphones and it just hangs there. Now, I understand this has to do with the waterproof issues, but it is an inconvenience. 2. I have to tap the screen several times for it to record the letters/numbers on the far right and left. Annoying. 3. I have no clue as to what the little things sticking out of the case are.... I would only recommend this product if the main reason was for protection and being waterproof, otherwise, go with something that is a bit more user friendly without the annoying inconveniences.

I've only had it a week but so far it's awesome. Of course it takes twice as long to charge but I only have to charge every other day. Really saves me from my frequent low battery situations. It's adds a nice weight to the phone as well. I've always thought the newer iPhones were too light. Love it.

I absolutely love this case. I am a coach and I spend long hours away from home daily in a rugged and active environment. This case gives the assurance of max protection from accidental drops and water exposure AND much needed extra battery life. I used to choose between mophie pack and otter box but this sleek case gives me the best of two worlds. Very satisfied!

I was a little bit nervous buying this case, as I had read negative reviews about how the LifeProof cases can effect the overall audio quality of your iPhone. It would seem to me that those issues seem to have addressed with the design of this case. I do not really intend to submerge this case in water on a regular basis, but rather chose it to protect my iPhone from the elements. This is the first battery case that I have ever had for any mobile phone I have ever owned. While it does add a pretty decent amount of weight to the device, it is nice to know that you have reserve power at your disposal. The case charges my iPhone quite quickly too!

I have been wanting a case that can guarantee protection from all of the elements, but still offer additional battery life. I am so happy they finally came out with one. I usually buy Mophie cases, but they do not offer the protection that lifeproof guarantees. When I got the case I made sure to test it in water for a couple hours. No leaks! The extra battery works well and I no longer have to drag my charger around everywhere. Definitely recommend.

I really love having a LifeProof case to protect my phone and the extended battery. The battery has come in handy so many times when I am out going from one sports event to another. I'm not always near a power source. I don’t mind the size and the weight of the case, it may bother someone if they want a light weight case. I Love it!

I started my walking program the same time that I got this. Since then it has rained on me several times walking home. Not to worry this thing is almost bullet proof. Rain proof, sweat proof and an extra charge just in case your music sucks your battery dry during your walk. I love that the battery turns itself off after reaching 100% phone charge. This leaves extra battery back up just in case.

This backup battery does everything i need it to do. It isn't that heavy or bulky.

Purchased this case for my son who at school was running through his Iphone battery by 1/2 to 3/4 of the school day.... not only is the case rigid and waterproof, sound quality and battery life is absolutely fabulous. This will give his phone a complete full charge and then some. Highly recommend.

If you can get a discount on this with a coupon you might fell better about the purchase, either way it's a great product. Our phones are too valuable to let the break, might as well get protection. The battery recharges the phone to 100% from 20% with no problems. I charge my 6s every other day (depending on usage). Recommended if you want to keep you phone in mint condition.
