I bought this product thinking it would be awesome, but I actually hated it. It takes a different charger and when I put it on my phone wouldn't even charge.

If it only... -Had an Apple plug not an Andriod since it holds an iphone 6, then I wouldn't have had to purchase extra cords and chargers -Allowed for earbuds and headphones to work because it doesn't allow the plug to connect, case it just a smidge too thick in that spot so it won't connect all the way and renders them useless while in the case -The screen cover didn't seem to evenly hit my screen causing a strange streaky looking effect in the middle of the screen when the case is on the phone -The rubber lining has cracked in a couple of places What is perfect about it is... + This case protects my phone wonderfully + This case charges my phone consistently

The battery life was very low. The case only lasted about a year. Then wouldn’t charge my phone!

I love my Lifeproof Fre Power. Its awesome but I found out from Lifeproof when calling them if you are trying to play music through your car via usb through the case it will not work it will only charge the case so either you have to play your music through the aux port of your car or via bluetooth if possible if equipped in your car. Or just take the case off of the phone and play music via a lightning cable. Besides that its a great case best protection as well. I bought the Mophie H2Pro and took it back because the phone speaker sounded low when talking on the phone to someone and you could hardly hear them.

I was debating on if I wanted to buy a Mophie or this case and I have to say the case was totally worth it. I don't have to charge my phone constantly while I am at work and then when I get home I only have one thing to plug in for the next day. It is a bit pricey, but if you need something that will protect your phone while helping keep it charged this case does the job.

I have had a couple variations of Life Proof cases on several different iPhones. The issue that I had with this one was the home button. Using it excessively to unlock your phone and other tasks eventually moves that very small thin piece of plastic. Once that is gone the phone has been compromised. The battery is great and and works well for charging. The case does make the phone a little heavier and bulky. Also you will no longer be able to use your lightning charger as it is a micro usb port. I have had my case for about 5 months now and now I have to baby it when I plug it in for charging as it is loose now and will fall out. I am very disappointed in this case as I had high expectations coming from Life Proof.

As a case, it is great. I've been an Otterbox guy ever since I had my first iPod. Since LifeProof and Otterbox are part of the same company, the idea of having a battery backup is great. The problem I have with it is that not all micro-USB cables will work with this case. It would have been nice if it used the Apple charger, but so far the only cable that has consistently worked has been the lone cable that comes with the case. I've tried high end cables, and all the cables that have come with many other devices I have. When I contacted LifeProof about the issue, they said they cannot guarantee that other cables will work. That's fine, but when you have a charger at home, in your car, at the office, in your bag and only their cable works consistently, it's annoying. Another thing to keep in mind is that you must use the headphone adaptor that screws into the case to keep it waterproofed. Other than that, the case is great.

This is my "beach case". I use it almost exclusively on the beach because it has everything you need - Battery, waterproof, and sand proof. Dont need to worry about your phone at all. A great purchase!

This case is pretty great as waterproof cases go but the battery makes it even more so. I've had a few issues getting certain non lifeproof cables to have a good connection but when you get that sorted out you'll have no problems. I've had this case for over a year and I've never had any damage to my phone

I love the color scheme and it is also very durable. I have dropped my phone by accident multiple times and this case has done what its supposed to do. Screen is in tact and phone does not have a scratch.

I was thrilled to see a case that would do all I wanted it to do. I purchased this on May 30, 2015 and It worked great at first. After having it on the phone less than a month, the charging part of the case stopped working. By the next day the phone's touchscreen stopped responding. The phone was less than a year old so still under the apple warranty, but when they opened it up the water damage indicator showed red. Therefore voiding the iPhone warranty, so we were out a $600 phone. It never looked like any water had gotten into the case, but apparently there was enough to trigger the iPhone moisture sensor. It seems like everyone I know has a lifeproof- how did I not know that they don't cover the phone inside the case when their cases fail?? Shame on me for not reading the fine print!

This case is awesome! I use it because i need something waterproof, shockproof, and it also has the amazing battery charger. It charges my phone and additional two times throughout the day! It's easy to use The only downfall I have is that the charger port for the case is an android charger... For an IPhone case.... Just kind of odd but, the beautiful blue color makes up for it!!

This was a replacement from the otterbox case and my son loves it

The audio on my phone is very muffled now. Can not hear all that well with case on. Charged case and phone all night, phone battery life got down to 30%, turned on the extra battery on the case, bettery got to 100%. Later on phone started dying again went to charge with case and case was out of battery also. I thought this case was suppose to be 2x the battery life! The only thing good about the case if the protection.

I have been a very loyal LifeProof customer for many years, and this product initially looked like it was a great product. But I quickly found that I was unable to charge the case with my phone inside (it would cause my iPhone 6 to flash on & off like it was in a lighting storm. So I had to take the time to remove the phone from the case to charge, which was a hassle). It was also very hard to make the case charge the phone from the internal case battery, as the case battery would keep shutting down. The last straw was when the clear front of the case scratched on the 3rd day of ownership (my previous Otterbox case has never scratched). It then went back to BestBuy for a refund and I went back to my Otterbox case.

As with all Lifeproof products for iPhone I have used, I have noticed poor sound quality when talking through the phone, however the Fre Power is the worst of all of them. Forced to use bluetooth anytime I want to talk on the phone. Also the screw part for the headphone jack is really hard to open and close, more so than other lifeproof products. Other than those two things, product is fine

I have had at least three Lifeproof cases and have had great luck with them. I was excited to see this new case with the extra battery storage. Less than a week into using it (with my brand new iPhone 6), it leaked like a sieve. My phone is ruined, and the batter case even shorted out. Of course, I didn't register it.... I've since heard from others that Lifeproof doesn't stand behind their products and will do what they can to not help you. I bought a new phone, and a new case. When I just called to register this new case, LP tells me that only cases bought from a Verizon dealer are covered under their Total Water Protection Plan. Only the case is covered for defects (for the first year).
