I have owned two other lifeproof cases and comparing this one to them I am kinda disappointed. First, I want to say I love how slim this case is. That's the main reason I have always preferred lifeproof. It also feels very sturdy in your hands and makes me confident it will easily protect the phone. That said, the charging port cover does not feel as secure as I remember from previous versions. I'm skeptical it would actually keep water out. Another thing that's annoying is how much play there is between the built in screen protector and the actual screen. When typing on the phone you can feel your fingers depressing the screen protector. It is going to take some getting used to. So far I found pressing "p" and "q" to be quite annoying especially as sometimes it doesn't register. Swipe to text is not as bad, but I hate I am limited to that option. I was very shocked to see the front camera lens built into the screen protector was orientiented the wrong direction and slightly off to the left of where it should be. Definitely a major oversight of LifeProofs QA team. After seeing it a quick search of the web reveals many other cases with the same flaw. Makes me wonder what else is overlooked in their final inspection process....or if they even have one. Not sure how, or if, this will affect the use of the front cameras. The finger print reader.....big fail. I'm not sure who the engineer was who successfully got it to work repeatedly, but they are more skilled than me. I completely understand why they sent 3. The first two was for practice, the third was expected to be actually used. After failing the first two times to get it to separate from the tap, the third was successfully applied. Only for it to somehow slide up after installing the case. My attempt to salvage my last one was a failure. Now I'm left without being able to use a flagship function of my phone. Maybe that gap between the built in protector and the phone was the culprit of it being able to slide? All in all it seems lifeproof was under pressure to put out a case for the s10+. In turn we got a good product, that could have been great. My suggestion, orient the front camera cover, trash the stackable fingerprint sticker and build it into the built in protector.

This is not a protective case for everyone. If you really need to protect your Samsung Galaxy 10+ against water or snow, this is your best option. The rainbow effect will never leave the screen saver of this case. I tried with baby powder, Zeiss Wipes, alcohol, hair dryer, leave it in a place with good air conditioning and even Windex. He won't leave with anything. You will also find a space between the screen of your phone and the screen protector of this case, which will create a feeling of "Air Vacuum", when you are typing with your keyboard. It is supposed to be a fully enclosed 360 degree case, but the amount of particles and garbage that this case collects is incredible. It is a beautiful protective case, its design is very slim and lightweight. Its buttons are soft to the touch and I had no problems with the clarity in the photos. If you really do not need 360 degree protection, I recommend that you go through the Otterbox Defender Screenless Series and use the Insignia brand liquid protector. I applied two of these to my Samsung Galaxy S10 + and I never had a single scratch or mark on my screen. With Otterbox Defender Screenless Series you will be more than protected against falls and the sound will be better than with Lifeproof Fré (Although it is not bad with this Lifeproof Fré, it is much better with Otterbox Defender Screenless Series). Forget to mention that the grease marks on your fingers will always be in your Lifeproof Fré? I had no problems with the charging port cover. My Lifeproof Fré passed the immersion test by far. I don't know what happens, but despite all this, this case has something that seduces me and makes me always use it above my Otterbox Defender Screenless Series. Ahhh and also above my Lifeproof Nëxt. I think that's all.

I've had a LifeProof case for the last several years and I was looking forward to using one for my new phone as well. The price has come down a little since I purchased my last case, which was nice, but the quality has also gone down. This case seems thinner and less high quality than the case that I had on my S8+. I do not feel like the piece that opens to charge the phone is as good as the last version of this case. It's always had a "snap" to close and this one comes open so easily, even happening sometimes when I take my phone out of my handbag. It seems like it would not be as water-resistant as it claims considering the piece flaps open randomly. The last case was waterproof and not resistant, so I know there will be some difference, but why make the case worse?! There is a little gap between the screen and the protector that makes a little click noise when I text. It did happen some on my last case, but it didn't bother me too much. This case has even more of a gap, so the noise is annoying. Then there is the fingerprint scan issue. It took me a very long time to get the fingerprint scan to work for this phone. It was incredibly frustrating to set up. I went through 2 of the 3 dots that are included. Finally got it set up, and it would only work half the time I tried to open with my fingerprint. After a few days, the stupid dot shifted somewhat in the case and then started lifting off the inside of the case, leaving my fingerprint unable to be read. I could spend the time redoing the dot, but it was so incredibly frustrating the first time that I don't even want to bother. I hate that I cannot use the fingerprint scan as easily as the S8+ and I wish that Samsung never moved it from the back of the phone. The main reason I wanted this case is the drop protection. I've never had an issue with a cracked screen in the past 5+ years of owning this type of case, so as far as that goes- I would recommend this case. If you cannot get past the possibility of never using the fingerprint scanner again, do not buy this case.

First off, it took Lifeproof forever to finally release this case...about a month and a half after the phone released. I have had a Lifeproof case for every phone I have owned in the last 7 years. This case is everything I wanted...protection from the elements and a built in screen protector. Because Samsung decided to integrate the fingerprint reader into the screen, it presented a new challenge to Lifeproof. How do you have a built in screen protector and keep the fingerprint reader functionality? The answer was a little adhesive circle that you install on the phone prior to installing the case. I had some issues getting it to adhere at first and ended up having to use another of the circles(they give you 3). Once installed, I reregistered my fingerprints and installed the case per the instructions. The fingerprint reader works, but it's a little iffy at times. Sometimes it reads with no problem, sometimes it doesn't read...but, I consider it a learning curve for Lifeproof. I'm sure they will improve in future editions if Samsung keeps the in screen reader. As far as the actual case, it is just as the previous editions of Lifeproof cases...solid all around. Is it worth the $90 that Lifeproof charges?.) That has yet to be determined, but, overall I am completely satisfied.

I work in construction in a pretty dusty and dirty environment. This case protects my phone from dust and sweat really good. My only complaint is that bubbles form in the space between the built in screen protector and the screen of the phone. Also the fingerprint reader does not work with this case, I have the galaxy 10s+

Got a great deal on this case. Looks great, seals the phone up for water proofing and has a great fit/feel to it. The qi charging works well too. One major problem- the s10+ fingerprint reader will not work through the screen protector. I use the reader for nearly all my secure access so this is a deal breaker for me. I will keep this case and maybe use it when hiking or something.

This case is exactly what I was expecting. It offers great protection of the phone, front and back. Being waterproof is an added bonus. The only downside to the case is the S10's built in fingerprint reader doesn't work with the case. They give you a decal that can be added to the screen to allow it to work, but I have been unable to figure it out. Even with the fact that it basically disables the fingerproof reader, it is still a great case well worth the money

Its a good case, and does what it is supposed to. It keeps dust and water out. I couldn't get the fingerprint sensor to work, even with the little tape your suppose to put on it before it goes into the case. Half the time i couldn't get it to stick to my phone, and when i did it was way to visible. So i just went without it. Its a little bulky, and the screen protector on it gets tons of finger prints.

This is the third case I've bought for two phones. Worth the price. Will always recommend and repurchase this case. It is definitely waterproof and protects your phone better than any other case I've used. I didn't give 5 stars because the enclosure clips for the charge and aux ports EVENTUALLY do "break". Not break off but stop being able to clamp back. But LifeProof does offer lifetime guarantee and replacement- I've just never gone that route.

Always liked the lifeproof cases and was ready for this one. Fingerprint sensor does not work. Had these little things to put on my phone to make the sensor work but after attempting all 3 of them none of them would stick. Lifeproof has been of no help to me to remedy the problem. Charging port cover doesnt seem to close all the way, it barely latches and makes me think it wont seal properly. For a 90 dollar case i expect the best and this isnt even close to good

Good case. Water resistant and protects the phone well. Dont like the plastic cover though. Its gets dusty and dirty all the time

It ain't cheap. Heavy case that feels good in your hand. I've been through several cases (Otterbox and others) and none of them did a good job of store thing my phone. Read that you mean that I have had several phones with lots of cracks as and smashed corners. New phone...new case and so far so good. 3 drops and not a scratch (grandkids watch s lot of videps on it). Could be the best case I've ever owned.

While the case is very nice, sleek, protective and waterproof it is not easy to use the new fingerprint unlock option on the Galaxy S10+. The option they provide with the thumbprint sticker is not the best option in my opinion.

Had several life proof cases on my old phones. Loved them. Got a new phone, got a new case. The quality just isnt there. The flap for the charging port barely stays shut and takes no effort to open it. So I dont trust it keeping out water and dirt. The case comes with 3 circle stickers for the fingerprint scan but they are a pita to get to stick and when they do, it's hard to get them where they need to be. I emailed lifeproof right away and told them the flaws. They are sending me a new case, but they are on backorder til who knows when. And when it does ship, i have to pay the shipping. Which I shouldn't have to due the fact it was poor quality from the day i bought it.

I will never buy a case unless it's a life proof case. I drop my phone a lot and this definitely keeps the screen from cracking. I even had my phone in my pocket when I stepped into the ocean and the phone worked perfectly fine.

Case fells godd in hand screen seems to have more protection that my Otter box. The only design flaw is the area that goes over the front camera is in the wrong place. Its placed to the left in a horizontal when it should be vertical in the upper right hand corner.

Great case, definitely protects the phone, only negative is the cover to your rear camera scratches easy, as that being main camera on a phone with camera quality as a sales pitch kinda sucks, but for the purpose of protecting the phone itself, there's none id trust more

I get one of these cases with every phone I get. I am clumsy and it saves my phone from me dropping it along with protecting it while hiking, kayaking, and while at the pool. Great case!

This is a fantastic case and I have been a lifeproof fan for years. Need a case to take care of protection as well as waterproofing and everything you could need. This is the case for you.

This case offers great protection for the S10+. Only issue is if you want to use fingerprint scan on the phone. The film that they give you 3 of does not work at all.
