This case is entirely waterproof completely covering the phone including the screen. There is a space between the cover & the screen giving you that plastic tapping noise using the keys. It comes with a screw in headphone cord to keep it sealed while using head phones. Be aware, this case will not allow the Samsung S8+ to charge unless you lay it sideways on the wireless charger. That seems to work well for us.

Same level of protection for you 1k phone without the feel of carrying a brick in your pocket. Waterproof, slim and drop proof. Why are we still talking? GO BUY ONE

The side buttons were damaged in less than 3 months. It is a very expensive product for something like this to happen.

So far so good with the LIfeProof case for my Samsung S8+. LifeProof seems to be the closest thing I can find to an idiot proof case. The thing I like best is that it is truly waterproof. Not sure it could take much of a fall due to the phone's wrap around screen and the way the protector had to be constructed, but LifeProof has served me well in the past.

My husband got this case for his Samsung 8. First of all I don't know if its the Sprint network or this case but his phone sometimes doesn't get any service. He cant make calls send msgs ect...I have the same phone, same network without these issues. So we don't know if its the case that covers the pone completely thats causing this.. So then yesterday he takes the case off, to check if the case is the reason his phone is not working and realizes that the back glass is shattered everywhere. How did this happen? The phone has not been dropped. We are very upset that we spent so much money on this case to supposedly protect it from every angle and it doesn't even do that. Another thing the screen protector on this is plastic and the screen often times doesn't respond unless you tap it real hard. We would like our $$ back!

This case has protected my phone from many drops on pavement. It created some gauges in the case and the screen protector, but my phone is perfect!

I work outdoors in all weather and in the Rockies. I have to have a case on my phone that's just as tough as the environment I work in. This brand of case was on m Galaxy 5 and was put on the phone new. Over 3 years later the 5 still looks band new.

The case is slim and all and manageable. Don't only think I don't like it's that it's too hard to open.

The screen protector is a bit annoying. This case is easier to get off than the past for galaxy phones

It does it's job protecting the phone. But it muffles the sound. It sounds like you are under water..

Love these cases. Added water resistance, good response from the built in screen protector, and best of all doesn't add bulk to the slim phone desegn.

I chose the LifeProof case for my new Samsung Galaxy S8+ because it is much more form fitting than other cases and it is water-resistant.

It's nice but hard to use the fingerprint scanner I guess if you kinda have big fingers. The case puts the scanner in kinda like a deep depression almost a hole, and now with the s8+ scanner being on the back makes it difficult to use with this case. Another thing the plastic front for the phone screen isn't flush nor close. There's a gap between the screen and the case that makes it annoying sometimes especially when you press near the edge you have to press hard for the screen to recognize your touch. It gets annoying at first because I'm use to feeling the screen. I would say the edge has about half a cm gap and the middle is about a mm.

Case fits tightly around the phone. Only down fall is that it really effects the volume levels of the phone. Everything sounds muffled.

This is a great case, the best case I have ever used outside of Otter box as for protection. I have had to replace this case multiple times however. Life-proof does replace it free plus 6.99 shipping. The volume buttons are constantly sticking.

The volume down push pad doesn't seem to be making contact. I've only had it for a week.

great case, very durable its does its work protecting your phone. only down side that I went trough was that the volumen button at times are hard to operate due to the wear out of the rubber inside the lifeproof case. but you can ask for a replacement and they will send it to you, only pay the shipping cost.

I like the case other than a couple of exceptions. 1] I hate the plastic screen cover. There is a gap between the screen and the cover. It hinders typing. Constantly skips leters due to not actually making contact with keyboard. The sound it makes when tapping the keyboard is annoying. 2] The buttons for the phone are very hard to press with this case. Other than that its a very good case.

They make you test case prior to placing your phone in it... so it is waterproof. The only problem which is slight, is that sometimes you have to punch the keys while texting due to the plastic cover. But I have lost more than one phone to water damage so that is a slight inconvenience for the security of the phone.

This is a great case. It has a screen protector on it so you wont really need to get an additional one, however I would still, just to be precocious. I got it for my nephew and he says its what he wanted.
