Suction is strong, and hasn't moved since I mounted it to curved plastic molding in my cars console (about 2 months). Adjustment meets any angle and orientation. Locking mechanism takes a few tries until aligned and in position. It is not easily ascertained that the phone is locked in position until your engage the lock and either the phone stays or falls out. Unlocking followed by a quick twist pops the phone right out. Mount is mostly plastic, and only time will tell how well it holds up to ozone, heat and ultraviolet light. I am concerned about the locking nut, which is plastic. I'm afraid that plastic in a continuously stressed, and possibly over-tightened may reduce useful life span. There is a low profile metal square that you must adhesively mount to the back of your phone. This piece is required to mount and secure the phone. Unless you purchase additional metal mounts, only one phone can use Mount. Overall, happy with function and ergonomics. Since I only have one phone to worry about mounting, it works good for me. Time will tell how the plastic holds-up to the harsh interior environment of the car.

After reading reviews for this item I was not very worried about the purchase, I knew that I would like it. Positives: Easy to use, suction mount (works very well!), multiple methods to have the device mounted (vertical or horizontal), sturdy (see negatives for more). Able to maintain a sturdy grip with 1600 watts blasting throughout the car. Negatives: Device when locked into place has a small turn, and does not stay level. If you are a freak about having the device "level" while looking at it you may run into an issue. The mounting adapter must be attached to the back of the device, and cannot be removed. Haven't had to purchase a new mounting adapter, but from my understanding a replacement costs roughly the same as a new mount.

Seriously, I've bought really nice car holders in the past. All of them either broke, the phone would fall off, or the new phone wouldn't fit it. I hated buying new ones all of the time. Never again. I can us this one with my next 10 phones if I wanted. It holds on to them really well, and I can still remove it just as easy as it got on.

I recently purchased this for my new Lifeproof case. The mount holds the phone in place and stays attached the the windshield very well, I haven't had fall off once. I also like the fact that it locks the phone in place.

Has been suctioned to my car window for 7 months through freezing winter and 90 degree weather and has never come loose or fallen off. The adjustment options are great, takes up very little space on your windshield, and easy to connect my phone. Worth the purchase! Only annoying part is if you frequent a lot of phone cases, you'll have to keep buying the 3M sticky mount. Recommend using the lifeproof case with it; if not, make sure the case material is compatible with the 3M sticky mount.

So far it has been the best holder for a windshield mount. Easy on and off with the cam lock. 3m tape is nice to stick to any phone or gps.

I currently use this with my iPhone 6s Plus. It hold the phone either verticals or horizontal and is easy to remove with a twist. Phone can be secured with a little lever on the side. When I went overseas I used this to hold my phone in landscape mode and made a time-lapsed video of a drive. Very strong suction to window but also easy to remove.

Absolutely greatest mount ever used! Stays in place, phone stays connected to mount, and is removed with ease!

Helps phone stay in place while going on long drives and is easy to view. Doesn't budge at all.

This has been an excellent product! Works as advertised, is durable, easy to adjust and move as necessary. Has made using my phone for navigation in the car simple and easy!

I am so pleased with this Lifeproof LifeActiv device. I own many of the other devices as well and have always been pleased. This one, however, has far exceeded my expectations. This is by far the best window suction cup device I've owned. This thing is rock solid and very easy to use. This thing has not moved (the arm or the unit itself) since I put it up. With my other devices similar to this, they would have either gone out of adjustment from where I had put them or quite simply lost suction and fallen off. I do a lot driving and this has helped me immensely. I highly recommend you get it before it's gone.

I have one of these in my car and in my husband’s car. We both use it every day. We have no issues with it, it’s really easy to get the phone on/off. The only thing this that it can swivel a little if it gets loose after a while but all you have to do is tighten it.

I've had several dash mounts, but this has to be one of the coolest. I stays put, rotates around easily, but doesn't move on bumpy roads. I never have to lock it in place, it stays there. It is difficult to sometimes put the phone on the dock, but it's getting easier.

This mount is great. I used it for a month plus stuck to the window of a tractor bouncing across a field and it never once let go. Something that cannot be said of almost any other suction mount I've tried. Where the phone attaches is very secure as well.

This is a great way to mount your phone in your car and be hands free easy to mount and easy to use with phone. One draw back is it doesn't come with a way to mount to the dash or another location and the suction cup really only stays on my window but over all it works great

Attached the mount to my paddleboard and went paddle boarding. Was surprised that the suction held. We took some really rough waves and my camera was still on board when we stopped. Definitely a BEST BUY!

It is great product. Easy to install and I think I would never need another car mount ever again. The only down side is that I fear it might fall. I to moist the suction myself and it did not give great instructions on how to install it.

Love how easy it is to view my gps while driving an I can see if anyone calls or txt and can chose to ignor or pull over and answer.

I have bought many mounts in the past but this one is the best!

Holds my phone well and no worries about it coming loose on the windshield. Also attaches and detaches the phone with no difficulty
