I swear by LifeProof cases. They have saved my iPad and iPhone from disaster multiple times. Unlike the OtterBox, the LifeProof case is slim, yet just as strong, if not stronger, not to mention COMPLETELY waterproof. The case fits very snug over the iPad. While the buttons may be slightly harder to press than other cases, they are not as hard as many other reviews make them out to be. Furthermore, the case does not inhibit the wifi antenna/signal and the audio comes out crystal clear. Highly recommend to anyone in need of an iPad case.

Easy to install, light, elegant, and WATER PROOF! The slightly raised edges allow for easy carrying, even up ladders ( I'm in roofing ) and when either caught in rain or snow I have zero worries about moisture getting into unit. I wash it clean under a faucet with dish soap at least once a day to get rid of grime. Since it is the Nuud version I make sure nothing abrasive touches the screen. It does come with a high quality screen cover but so far I haven't had a need to install it. It doesn't come with a desk stand and it's charging port opening won't accept after market outlet ends.

This is a terrific case if you can afford it. I purchased it for my wife and it's saved the iPad on more than one occasion when it was knocked off a desk or couch. It makes the Air much easier to grip and doesn't add too much weight.

This case is perfect for my iPad Air. It protects it from just about everything but isn't heavy or bulky for packing for travel. Very comfortable in your hands. Easy to put on the first time.

The fit of this case is perfect and it has a great feel in your hands without lending too much weight as some cases do. The security of its protection makes me feel like I can use my iPad where i want to use it.

There is no screen cover on this product. It has a seal around the perimeter. The water actually touches the iPad screen but the seal keeps the water from getting down to the critical parts. I was very skeptical but there is a piece of plastic the size of the iPad included. It tells you to test the case first with this piece by submerging it for 10 min in water then open the case and check for moisture. I lost track of time and it was submerged for over 30 min. When I opened it, there wasn't a droplet of water.

Please read this whole review....There are many cases on the market for iPads, I went with the lifeproof over the others since I have good history with them. They have always protected and they don't add a lot of bulk. I would recommend the Nuud version. They offer 2 types and the Nuud is the case that seals directly to the screen. No flimsy plastic between you and your precious device... It's about $30 extra but worth it.

Basically the most awesome case ever. Surprisingly light weight and gives you a better edge to hold the iPad with. Now I can take my iPad anywhere and not worry, by the pool, to the beach..etc. Worth every penny for the peace of mind... and it's kinda cool that you still touch the actual screen and can see the back side.

I was a little wary of this LifeProof case because it did not include any screen protection material, but having owned several iPhone LifeProof cases, I purchased it and it works exactly as advertised. I can get my iPad wet, even submerged for a couple of feet in water, and there has been no damage whatsoever to my iPad Air 128gb. I love reading in a chaise lounge in the pool, and this product has made me feel more secure taking my iPad Air there. I recommend it!!!

I like it, but it wasn't built to be used with a screen protector. I used it with one anyway because I do what I want. It has been working just fine although when you push the home button it takes a considerable amount of pressure to make it function, but my thumbs are pretty strong so it doesn't bother me as much as some people might be with weak fingers.

There are two (2) Lifedproof cases for the iPad Air....this one called the NUUD and another one that is identical to this one called the FRE' . The only difference between them is the NUUD (this one) does not have that plastic attachment that goes over the front of the iPad Air. Lifeproof case is just what the name implies Protection against all life's ups and downs. I have personally dropped my iPad Air while it sits in the case numerous times, dropped it in water actually a pool, even had it fall off an escalator and hit almost every step on the way down and my iPad Air still works as perfectly as the day I bought it.

I have always replaced electronics due to exposure to damage of any kind. Water is our worst enemy now I can take pictures and more in under and around all water. This case also puts up with all three of my kids three dogs and work punishments. If you love your iPad Air you need this case warranty or not best investment money can buy.

I use the Lifeproof Nuud case on everything that I have. I can't stand when a case has a screen protector included because they get so nasty and never lay perfectly. With this option I use the Zagg screen protectors and replace them whenever I need to without replacing the entire case.

I use this same product on my iPhone and now my iPad. It's great. I'm a Firefighter and my phone goes everywhere. It's been wet, underwater, etc. Never a problem.

Overall, a very nice product, everything seems to be very well protected, I like the fact that you actually touch the real screen and the rest of the Pad is sealed in, but with this seal comes a lack of true sound. It seems as though the sound is coming from the back of the Pad when it's in the case, and you really have to max out the volume to get any sort of audio to bleed through. My only complaint though.

It makes the iPad easier to hold and protects it from damage from dropping. It is also water resistant.

Love lifeproof, we have them on all devices. 3 iPhones, three iPads. prefer the free as I am not a fan of the protective screens

the screen cover makes the tactile sensation somewhat inaccurate and the stand is not easy to open or close.

This case is great, the only issue I have with it is that the home button is difficult to press. Otherwise the case is completely worth the purchase.

I have not tested if the case is truly waterproof . Nice having confidence that my iPad is protected if by chance I drop it in water or splash it.
