I have owned many Lifeproof cases and accessories but this one is by far the cheapestly made case. I have gone through 2 cases in two week both with the same problem. The thin rubber seal that covers the camera flash tears like tissue paper preventing that water and dirt proof seal I have come to love in this brand. Until they switch back to a harder plastic or glass cover over the flash I will not buy this product again and in turn will continue to place my phone in a zip lock bag every time I go snowboarding and kayaking.

Yes, it does look nice on my iPhone 6+. I found a "defect" that is a bit annoying and basically lessens my confidence on it being waterproof. I say it with quotes because I'm not sure if this is common on the iphone6+ version. I had a prior nuud case for my iphone5, and the casing is flush when I snap top+bottom, versus this one, where a small portion at the bottom adjacent to the earphone slot just doesn't snap together. I had to rely on the flap to keep them flush. Unfortunately the piece of plastic from that flap that keeps the bottom part together already broke off, and this item has been with me for less than a month! For the price, I expected a littlle bit more quality. I also bought the bike mount accessory. Again, looks nice but am afraid to use this off-road as there's too much wobble. Another thing I hate is you have to stick the plate on the back of the case ( of course :-) ), reducing that "slim factor" as it really sticks out and really is a bit of an eye sore..

This is the safest and smallest case you can get for the iPhone.

Had been waiting for this case ever since I bought my iPhone 6s Plus. They took a long time to get it out but it's a beautiful case especially as it shows off the backside's color of your phone. The sound is not very clear on calls as it is with most popular cases. But okay on music and videos. Love that it's water proof. But overall I love its overall style for my phone!

Awesome case with one huge flaw, the charging port door clasps are super flimsy and broke already. I haven't had it a month and one broke completely off and the other is bent over and about to pop off. All I can say is until they redesign this, stay away!

The button of the case where you open to charge breaks off very easy and the sound is very poor when you talk to someone they can't hear you and you can't hear them on a very expensive case.

Followed instructions exactly. Put my phone and wallet in my purse, I took out my phone to take a picture and the front was shattered!!! This happened within the first couple days of putting the case on. It started from the camera area. I used a life proof for my iPhone 4 years ago and it worked great. I just think that for the size of the plus the case puts pressure and weak spots on phone. Will not put my iPhone plus in a life proof

Greetings, After the first month of using this case it was great, now after about 2 months this case has damaged my wife's iPhone 6 Plus. There is now a dent in the back of her phone where one of the grooves holds the phone in place. My wife does not place her phone in her back pocket and she is very careful with her phone. But she does have the occasional oops (we have all been there). No drop would cause this case to bring this kind of damage to her phone. I have emailed LifeProof of this issue and they have not responded to me yet after 3 days. So far this is not looking good. But thank you for your time and I hope you have better luck than us.

I have used Lifeproof for my last 4 phones and have been pleased. However, this model is lacking. The charging port door stopped securing after a week of use and when I called Lifeproof to fulfill my warranty (which they did fulfill without issue--this is a big plus for Lifeproof) I was told this is a known common problem with this model and, yet, they have not resolved it. Likewise, Lifeproof has an unresolved issue with the person speaking not being heard by those on the other end when the phone is secured in the case. The only solution is to open the charging port door which stops securing properly after excessive use. And, even then you sound as if you are in a tunnel. Additionally, the case does not allow the use of the noise canceling microphone on the iPhone making the person speaking harder to hear and causing a feedback issue between the microphones which results in a loud squealing on the phone. Lastly, there is still no holster for this model. So, in summary--Lifeprooof still creates one of the slimmest, most durable and protective cases available, and stands by their warranty. However, what this model offers in protection it lacks in functionality.

Pros: Really nice case, well built. Water resistant is a bonus over the other brands. Easy to grip, and very rugged. Comes with cleaning cloth for the optional screen protector. Provided threaded external headphone cable with o-ring that can be used to maintain water resistance while listening to your headphones. Cons: It was designed around the apple cables, so off brand cables will not fit into the ports. The water resistant gadgets cover the external speaker so sounds come across muffled and full of bass. If you prop the phone up the sound comes across louder and clearer. Listening to a phone call through the earpiece isn't an issue. It's almost impossible to hear someone on speakerphone. With the thickness of the case and closeness to he edge of the screen, it's sometimes difficult to grab the phones upper and lower slide menu's. Provided cleaning cloth isn't exactly lint free, so when applying the screen protector you get a coup,e of bubbles. Otherwise it's easy, and doesn't seem to interfere with everyday use of the phone.

Great case, the main reason that made me get it was because is waterproof. But like others reviews say, this case will reduce the sound of the speaker so if you're used to use your iPhone as your alarm you may find it quite annoying that you don't hear it as loud as without the case. Also the lightning port for the charger is made for and only for your original apple lightning cable, no other charging cable will fit in. Other than those two I have not experienced any problems when I make call or receive calls and my contacts haven't say anything about any problem not being able to hear me.

got this case to protect my beautiful new I phone 6 plus which I love!! while I like the improvements such as no plastic on screen and better design, the sound quality is TERRIBLE!! It is so bad that I must put the phone on speaker to hear or be heard. I took off the case to make sure it wasn't the phone and the sound is fine. Put the case back on , can barely hear unless on speaker and still have to hold close to face. Isn't supposed to be a phone #1 first??? the case does a great job of protecting frm impacts but disappointed in sound quality.

I've been through 2 pairs of lifeproof in the first month. The bottom where your charger plugs in keeps breaking.sound quality is bad. Everyone I talk to thinks I'm in a tunnel if the can hear me. Hopefully my 3rd is better. Other than these issue I like how light weight the life proof is. I did I few under water videos and it work well. Recommend it if you are whiling to spend the time replacing it if it breaks and if you have a Bluetooth headset for conversations

I bought the Lifeproof because they aren't as bulky as the Otterbox cases but provide so much more protection. The only things i have not like so far is that the only charger you can use is the factory iPhone charger and the ear buds. I hate screwing that extension part into the AUX port but hey it didn't deter me. Did the water test and it came out find. So now i feel good about taking it to the pool with me :)

So, this is a tough one. On one hand - i know it's waterproof. I was fishing and it fell out of my pocket. "Fished" it out of the water - no problem. With that though, there were more negatives that made it a problem. People have a really hard time hearing me talk. There are also times where all the sudden the phone would get feedback like when a microphone gets too close to a speaker. That was really annoying because once it does that the only way to get it to stop was to hang up. The thing that drew the line for me though is the headphone adapter to use the headphones or an auxiliary port. I get that they have to do something to make sure the water stays out of the inside, but it seems like they could have come up with a much better option than a 4" cord must be with you at all times if you want to listen to music without taking it out of the case and the device you're connecting to doesn't have Bluetooth... which is exactly what happened to me over the fourth of July. At a friend's house and we wanted to listen to the mlb app for a baseball game. Didn't have the 4" adapter cord along, so i though, "what's one the risk to to take it out of the case one time?" Well, you guessed it. Slipped out of my hand onto the concrete - glass shattered.

I have had previous Lifeproof products in the past. I've had cases for my iPad mini and iPhone 5. They worked amazing without too many flaws. With confidence in their previous products, I purchased this case for my new iPhone 6 plus. Unfortunately I have ran into the same problems other customers have had with the cover that seals the charging port. The two tabs that lock the charging port cover into place broke after a few weeks. The reason for not giving them only one or two stars is that when I contacted Lifeproof via their website to file a warranty claim, they were super quick about getting me a replacement at no cost to me. I am currently on my second case and hope this one will last longer. I imagine with the warranty claims they have gotten so far, they will do a better job at testing their products to ensure that they do not break so easily after normal wear and tear.

The case works great keeping water out and preventing any damage to the phone. It, however fits on so tight that it interferes with sound and when talking on the phone people tell me I sound far away. Also, the seal protecting the charger breaks easily. Regardless, it protects my phone very well against any damage.

I had dropped my iPhone 6s Plus several times and cracked the tempered glass protector that I had previously purchased. I was starting to be concerned that the case I was using wasn't enough protection, so I decided on the Nuud. I love the thin design, however there are a few flaws. First, there is no screen protector. I was able to find one that was made to fit the Nuud online. Another issue is the sound quality. Other reviews had mentioned that the sound is muffled. In my experience, this has been a sporadic issue. Some people indicate it's a problem, others can hear me fine. And the internal speaker volume is definitely reduced. I'm still pleased with my purchase as I don't talk on the phone often and generally use headphones or a Bluetooth speaker when listening to music or other media.

Overall I would say it's a pretty good case for your iPhone, especially if you work outside, since it protects the phone from getting wet or from minor drops. It is a little hard for people to hear me, and for me to hear them on phone calls. And the port door for charging is a little hard to open at times
