If you're looking for a very protective, sleek, and light case for your iPhone then this is it. The non-cover over the screen ensures great performance of your phone. The case is very light, and not bulky. The main downside is the case seems to impact the microphone at times (unless you use a Bluetooth headset, then no issue at all), and muffles the sound, especially listening to music w/o headphones. Overall, great case.

Haven't tested the waterproof function yet (and don't purposely intend to) but like the size, feel and protection the cover provides.

You really can not get better protection than LifeProof but unfortunately, that peace of mind comes at a price! You can feel secure knowing that your expensive investment in the iPhone 5S is protected from everything (accidental drops, water damage etc.). LifeProof also stands behind their products! I would actually consider purchasing for my Samsung Galaxy 4 also if I did not have to constantly take out the battery which would be counterproductive with the LifeProof case (which is not meant to be constantly removed and replaced)

Purchased this case as a water resistant and durable case to protest my phone. The case feels solid, fits the phone well and all the functions are usable. The downfalls are the "waterproof" films covering the flash, camera and speakers is thin and rips easily. Also the sound quality is diminished and volume of phone conversations are lower than with other cases. For the money I would expect better quality and sound.

Got this one for my wife's phone. Does exactly what its supposed to, helps with accidental drops and gives added water proof protection when we're out boating.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Not bulky whatsoever but has protection like it's made from steel. Great case and won't double the size of your phone.

I needed a case with full protection from the elements but didn't want something bulky and sterile feeling. Nothing beats this design. Love it. I did exchange the black case for the white, but it was just because I live in a hot area and knew black out get hotter in the sun. Both colors are greats, but white will work better for me in the desert.

I have around 7-8 Lifeproof cases for Phones, iPads, iPods etc. They are the best protection from all elements! I love that they are waterproof!

this case is awesome, i like that the case fully protects the phone , without being fully encased in a protective case. it is waterproof too.

I love the case. The phone has dropped from my pocket a few times with no visible damage. It's way thinner then the bulky otterbox cases. Comes way optional screen protector, whether you use it or not, it's still waterproof. The case does muffle the speaks sounds and it is hard to use the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5s.

Love the design and size of the case! Not bulky! But the area where you plug your charger can sometimes be difficult to open. As a woman, it sometimes chips my nail polish trying to pop it open! Dirt and grime also gets trapped around the screen easily where the case seals potential water out. Otherwise, it is great!

this is simply the last cover you will ever need. locks out water but you can still press the buttons. easy to put on and take off

The case is working very well! I like the fact that I can touch the glass screen and the phone is still protected. I haven't submerged the case in water long periods of time, but I have used it while floating in the ocean with plenty water exposure. My only complaint is the rubber sides are looking pretty dingy just 2 months of use. I would have gone with black if I would have known the sides would look dirty without any hope of cleaning.

I've been a fan of Lifeproof since the iPhone 4 and have had tremendous success with their products!! I do want to caution folks though that water resistance IS NOT the same as waterproof. These cases are rated to 6 feet I believe and only for a short period of time. They will leak and once they do, you're phone is toast. The best use case for these cases is to protect from splashes and some very shallow under water video/photography.

Case is perfect for anyone that spends a lot of time outdoors where you could possibly drop the phone in water or snow

I love this case. It is waterproof, is slim, and doesn't add much weight. It protects the phone in falls as well. the only issue is that when I open the charger flap/latch to plug in my charger, the seal to keep the water out shifts or falls out and I have to adjust it or put it back.

i was very optimistic about this case. indeed it is a LIFEPROOF brand, but there is no screen. i was very scared to get water on it but i figured that if it were to be on the market, that it would be safe. after being so scared, water did get on my phone but it was completely protected by the life proof case. i love how the back cover is clear so that my gold phone shows through.
