This is a great case! It withstands the abuse inflicted by a toddler and looks great too! All of the 5S features are accommodated with the nuud, unlike with the fre that best buy carried when the 5S first came out. I don't like that the case is so expensive, but it really is well built. The nuud is slightly more bulky then the fre but you don't have to worry about air pockets forming because there's no protective film. The screen protector that lifeproof includes is also very durable. I haven't been so careless to drop it in the water yet, but I am confident this case will hold up to it's claims.

this case is worth the money, I been using it to go to the beach, or to a river and swim with the phone and take pictures, they look great , and also because of my work, my phone is always dirty, so only put the phone on the sink open the water and voila !!

Case is as advertised. No protective screen on the front. Can be viewed as positive or negative in your opinion depending how you look at it. Exposed glass is prone to scratches or damage. No protective screen equates to a better clearer viewing screen and accurate touch screen. Higher volume equates to a somewhat lower sound. But that territory comes with the case being enclosed. You want higher volume, take the case off, simple as that. This case does what it is advertised to do, to a certain extent. Extent, is based on how you handle and treat your case. I'll leave it at that.

We placed this case on the phone and it was even cracked, the water did not get through at all, the phone never got wet, to tested we submerged in the pool and took a video under water, it was awesome, unfortunately I had to take the case back!

I'm a huge fan of lifeproof cases and I bout this one without hesitation. They protect your phone from everything you can imagine when you put them on properly. They are worth the money, especially with the warranty that comes at no extra charge.

I really like the size of it and the waterproof perk. The only inconvenience is that you need the headphones that came with your iPhone or similar if not you have to use the adaptor that comes with the case

This is a great waterproof case with complete access to the screen without the hinderance of a screen cover and without the bulk of other cases. The case only has a few flaws. The sounds tend to be slightly muffled and there is a slight vibration at full volume. The jack cover at the bottom is a little rough and is slightly uncomfortable the way I personally hold the phone. All that being said, the best waterproof case I've used (this is the third one, (otterbox and the original lifeproof included)

At first I was sectacal because it was screen less but it does come with a sticky cover to put on the screen and it water protects very well... Also I drop my phone a lot and it protects from that very well too.., I love it.., good investment...

This case is not bulky at all, is a great fit, the only reason is not a 5 star is that is hard to swipe up to access the flash light and other quick apps.

The case is nice looking, easy to handle and very accommodating. We went snorkeling in Hawaii however, and took it underwater to take pics of the sea life and it leaked, ruining the phone. I had to get a new phone.

I'm a camp counselor so I needed a case that would protect my phone on all of our outdoor activities. For all the protection, it's a pretty slim case so it's not too bulky to stick in a pocket. I dropped it outside on the first day and a little piece of the rubbery case sliced off. I would've thought it would be tougher than that. The phone is still safe but the missing piece is an annoyance. Also, I have to open the charging area if I am making a phone call because my voice comes out muffled on the other end. It's still a great case for keeping the phone safe.

The day after we bought this case I found my daughter trying to take "underwater photos of fish" while down on the dock. The 5 star rating shows that it worked perfectly. I also really like the feel of the screen with no protective layer.

Protects phone well, I'm on my second case. Keeps out dust and debris that can make buttons not work. New design is difficult to open charging port cover

Was a little skeptical at first with no screen on the from to keep the water out- however, it works great and have had no problems. Allows the security touch feature to work perfectly while keeping phone safe.

I bought this case for my 9 year old and so far it's great. She has dropped it many times and the screen has not cracked. I love that the phone is protected and the actual screen is exposed and doesn't have a cloudy cover over it.

Excellent case for iPhone 5s. I bought this as soon as I saw the LifeProof arm band that accommodates this LifeProof Nuud case. I will review the arm band on its page...however they are both worth the cost. The good: protection - typical protection you would expect from the LifeProof case. I really like that the screen is not covered by a plastic sheet with this case. I like the feel of the iPhone screen. Just slapped on the screen protector (which is included with the case). Look - I got the black case to match the black/grey phone I have. I really like that you can see the phone through the back of the case. The back of the case does have a few scratches over the month of me throwing the phone around. But this is the reason for owning this case. Functionality - All the buttons work. I use the fingerprint scanner and it works with this case no problem. I bought my iPhone unlocked from the Apple store because I travel overseas a lot. The case is hard to take apart to change sim cards. But this is part of the protection you get from LifeProof...drop from 6 feet. The Bad: Functionality - The case is not very comfortable on the ear while talking...however find me one that is!!! The audio jack screw in cover...this is a feature that I expected as I have used other LifeProof cases, however this one comes with a separate "screw in audio cable" that you have to use with certain types of headphones. If your headphones audio cable is not straight and as small as the Apple headphone jack (funny Apple jack) then it will not work with this case and you will have to use the cable extender that comes with this case. The iPhone doesn't recognize when I unplug my running headphones while using the "screw in audio cable". Hopefully this will get addressed in a update. However I am not expecting it... This case is a little expensive, but I think you get what you pay for...protection of this major investment.

I am conflicted about this case, I like that it's not bulky, I can use my own screen proctor, which was the almost glass kind very expensive, but love, case was hard to open, very hard to get phone in the right way and then struggle to close it tight, only have had for maybe a month and have noticed that one corner has lifted up and I can't snap it closed, also when I put in case my screen proctor kind of lifted in 3 corners now have like air spots, will have to remove see if I can adjust and get closed again., I do like the concept though and that's why I would recommend

This is the second Life Proof case I bought for my iPhone 5. I am in construction and this case is subjected to so much abuse. It stands up to it all while protecting the phone. The new design works well with the phone's touch screen.

I love this case. I love being able to out my phone in the dish water if it needs to be cleaned. I have never had a water problem or any other damages to my phone whole using this case.

I purchased this case as a gift for my daughter who has a history of destroying phones. This one protects it from drops and water damage without the plastic screen cover that usually gets scratched making it difficult to see the screen.
