I bought this case to replace my first Lifeproof Nuud case that I had for a year and a half. My first Lifeproof case had suffered a lot of wear and tear due to being dropped so many times on concrete/asphalt. This case definitely does an amazing job of protecting my phone from drops, spills, and water/snow. It fits my phone like a glove and is a very sturdy, protective case. It has a one-year warranty as well. I prefer the Lifeproof Nuud case over the Fre because it allows me to touch the actual screen on my phone. Since I have the iPhone 5S, I can also use the Touch ID feature, but it doesn't work with the 5C or 5. One annoying aspect about this case is having to use the supplied adapter for the headphone jack when I want to use my headphones. I understand the need to keep the phone completely sealed from the elements in order for it to be waterproof, but it is still an annoyance. Being that this is my second Lifeproof Nuud case for the same phone, it is certainly not a dealbreaker. I would recommend this case to others.

Great product . Unfortunately it was missing two water seals. By the time the issue was discovered it was beyond the return period. Now I'm supposed to contact the manufacture?

I purchased this case and I had to end up returning it because people could not hear me and said it sounded like I was in a tunnel.

The case was something I really wanted to purchase but it didn't fit my phone be aide I had a glass sheild to protect my phone. No where on the box does it say will not fit if phone has glass protective sheild on. Disappointed customer. Would recommend if friends don't have glass sheild on iPhone.

I returned this product for a few reason, one it was very hard to put it only phone. Second, I hated the fact that I had to unscrew the part every time to put my head phones in.

I previously have had life proof cases that lasted a year and wore well, this one within four weeks the gasket that seals against the screen has already come out.

i put my daughters phone in this case. 2 days later she drops it and screen breaks. Disappointed because of the cost of the case. Lifeproof does not guarantee the device.

I absolutely love this case! I had the otterbox armor series and loved the comfort of waterproof but hated how bulky it was and chose to make the switch and haven't looked back since! I love how slim this case is and it even works!!! And I love the fact that I am actually touching the screen.

1. forgot to register it feel in the pool and phone got water in it so had to by a new phone

leaks - my third case - they all leak - I will not buy another

I love my lifeproof case and the warranty on it is excellent. Even though I bought it through best buy, I was able to get a new one sent to me when the rubber edges started to peel due to my phone getting chewed on (the case still worked though!) The case itself has endured some serious hardships like being underwater and dropped pretty far (further than they say you can) and it has been just fine. I love the product and would absolutely buy it again. It is the best protection for an expensive phone and stretches the capabilities of the phone!

I needed a case, and decided to make the leap and get a life proof one. I wanted one that didn't cover up the screen, due to issues on my wife's fre, with using the top part of the touch screen. This one works fine, but even after a week, it is a pain sometimes to open the little area to plug in to charge or into computer. If that wasn't so difficult to open, it would have 5 stars. As it is, I have to make sure and open it at night before going to bed, or the noise will wake my wife.

Bought this for my girlfriend, who has a horrible habit of dropping her phone. Replaces an Otterbox case which looked like a purple brick everytime she put it up to her ear. So far it's been great. She's dropped it a few times but phone is still flawless as the day it came out of the box. Though I tested the case for water-tightness with the testing block that's included in the box, I've yet to do with an actual iPhone inside. Hopefully, I never will, though I'm confident it will work just as well after reading several reviews from thise who have. Unlike the Fre` model, phone calls don't sound muddled on either end, and speaker output for music is about the same as with the Otterbox. It's not as clear or loud as an unprotected phone, but a heck of a lot better than a smashed/soaked phone would I imagine. All in all, she's happy so I'm happy.

My wife loves the durability, plus you can still hear & speak normally. Clear back is pretty cool too ...

Got this for my daughter that breaks stuff, awesome case for protection, but a little pricey.

We love Lifeproof cases! This case is very durable and functional! In the past, I have had to contact customer service and they were very friendly and helpful. Will be purchasing this again in the future.

Please read before purchasing: My case leaked even though it was just splashed, not submerged. Lifeproof offered a replacement, not a refund because it was days over the warranty period. The case has a few flaws and I would not recommend it to anyone at any price. The $80 price suggested a level of quality that simply isn't justified. Problem #1: The coverings for the camera ports scratch easily and are difficult to keep clean. Pictures are fuzzy after the first month or so of use. What is the point of HD video and high MP pics if they are fuzzy? Problem#2: The microphone is muffled by the case. Annoying on phone calls but worse on videos Problem#3: The failure point on this particular case was not the gasket that surrounds the case but a leak on the thin piece of plastic that covers the home button / thumbprint reader. My guess is that they needed to make this thin enough to recognize a thumbprint but it is just glued on from the back side of the case. This delaminated and can't be seen while the phone is in the case. The cover over the flash on the back appears to have the same flaw. The case itself made the problem worse since once the water leaked in (a few drops at most#, it was trapped next to the phone. Without the case it probably would have rolled off or been easier to wipe off. After the incident they suggest that I should have removed the phone from its case to test its water tightness once a week with the dummy phone provided. Seems excessive since we were not submerging the phone. So it ruined my iPhone 5S after a year of use. I lost 3 weeks of vacation pictures. It cost me a $160 deductible to have GeekSquad replace the phone with insurance that had cost me over $130 in premiums, another $25 to have a PC shop try to recover the photos #they couldn't), and hours of time replacing / activating phone and warranty issues. Their remediation is to send me the same case. For $70 less you can get a case for your phone and a waterproof pouch to put it in. I have no interest in doing business with Lifeproof again and hopefully you will consider other options as well. I wish I had seen a review like this before my purchase.

I have purchased other lifeProof cases in the past and not had any issues. This case within a few months has cracked on the outside. The rubber also has deteriorated. It is not longer waterproof. Not happy with the quality of this new design.
