The black border on the clear case very nicely and elegantly highlights my new silver iPhone 8. You buy the iPhone in a certain color that you like, then usually hide it in a dark case. With the clear case you have everything you could ask for in a tough case--except extra power.

This is a newer style case for me and it is holding up great so far. In fact I just dropped my phone on my concrete driveway the other day and you can’t even tell that I did either because of the case. Awesome product!

But once you drop it the rubber on the side will get damaged and that’s just from the first drop. Then depending it pops open, but the phone doesn’t come out. It’s just the corners that pop open. I don’t think this is as protective as they say. I had the nude and my only problem was the charger cover breaking.

Falling apart after 2 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this case because I was tired of constantly buying cheap cases to last me a few months, I was attracted to Lifeproof because it's a big name and with the price tag I assumed it would be great quality. Within 2 months the case started to fall apart, the black rubber grip started to become loose and hanging off, behind the back clear plastic dirt and hair got stuck, which makes no sense because there is a battery door cover to prevent lint from falling into the case. I'm very upset and turned off from Lifeproof if the cases are going to fall apart within 2 months. Might as well stuck to generic ones.
