I’ve owned different life proof cases for a very long time and I did not hesitate to get one for my iPhone X’s Max. I bought my first Next case for my iPhone X, well one day I was placing my son in his car seat so I placed my phone on top of my car. Put my son in his car seat, got in the car and drove about 1 block. Turned into traffic when I heard something hit my trunk. I look in my rear view and saw my phone on the ground in the middle of traffic. I quickly pulled over only to watch a Ford F-250 roll over my phone, front and back tires, next comes a Honda Accord. I ran in middle of traffic to get my phone thankfully the next car stopped to allow me to get it. Saw my phone face down and my case broken apart. Terrified to flip my phone over because I just knew my screen was done for. To my surprise not a scratch on my phone! No cracks, nothing! My case was pretty messed up but It did it’s job. My Life proof next protected my phone against a drop and 2 vehicles running it over. It’s life proof for life!!

This is a great case for the iPhone xs Max. Love the seal around the screen and the port cover. Perfect fit. Only grip is it makes the phone slightly wider. No bad considering the amount of side protection. Plenty of room for glass screen protection as well. 5 star case.

Love this case, lost count of how many times my phone has fallen from my hands and has protected my phone all the time. Great choice to buy.

The NEXT case for the Lifeproof X was a total mess that I had to order about 3 cases within 6 months because of the protective rubber around the case. It would just come off. So I was disappointed. But the NEXT for the iPhone XS Max has been a big improvement from last years model. I believe they are using a different glue and you can just tell the rubber is tightly sealed and it’s been only 3 months but so far so good. Love the case because your phone can be shown off.

I’ve had a life proof for every iPhone I have owned. I ended up returning this one unfortunately. The case would easily come apart at the top and would not stay attached. I would take the phone out of my pocket and the case would not be together. I have never had this problem with any other lifelroofs so I was very disappointed when this started happening. All in all it was a good case. I just wish it would have stay together.

My favorite Lifeproof case. It provides great protection for my iPhone. The side buttons work flawlessly. The toggle switch for muting the phone is great. The color of your phone will not be compromised because the back of the case is clear. The phone will not be slippery in your hands, the rubber provides a good grip around the phone. Over time the rubber around the case will get dirty, I have the lavender color (it’s not that bad) but I don’t keep my phone in my back pocket. I’m not hard on my phone, so I can’t speak about dropping it. Sound quality is much better than the Fre cases. Wish they could figure out a way to improve the sound quality on the fre cases (phone is completely encased) until then this is my favorite. Purchased on sale, otherwise a little pricey

This is a reorder. I had this same case in purple. I dropped my phone so many times and my phone was perfectly protected. So I reordered. I believe this case is unfortunately being discontinued.

My wife has gone through more cases than I can count. This is the only one that has held up

The idea of cracked screen or broken phone is unacceptable to me. I came to Best Buy BEFORE, I recieved my new iPhone XS MAX. This Liefproof case is perfect! The phone is protected. I love the touch of color, I chose purple to compliment my silver phone. It's easy to get the phone into and out of the case. The open front works with a glass screen protecter great.

My favorite case for all my phones it’s the most durable and life proof replaces no problem with any damage expensive but worth it

I bought this after the back of my iPhone XS MAX shattered completely. Once I got my replacement, I knew I needed a better case. Haven’t really had any big complaints with this. I do notice that the case sometimes comes apart, and I find myself having to snap it back to close it. Other than that, it serves its purpose. I do like being able to see the back of my phone; since this new iPhone has a sleek finish on the back. If you want to keep your front screen protected, you need to get a screen protector. Most LifeProof cases come with a built in cover, but this does not.

First off, all clear cases are fingerprint magnets and scratch just by looking at them, regardless of the manufacturer touting scratch resistance. This case is no exception, but as long as you expect this going in I think you will be satisfied with this case. I have not dropped my phone but I anticipate it will provide good protection. The main reason I got it was for the dust protection (I guess I have particularly linty pants!), and this case does a good job there. I do have a very small amount of rainbow effect on the back occasionally, but nothing too bad. I got this case on sale otherwise I would say this is way too expensive at full price.

The Lifeproof Next case is one of my favorites. The case is thick enough to have the screen, with a glass protector on it, not touch the surface thanks to the high sides. I've dropped the phone from much higher than their specs and it's always come out free of any damage. I just wish there were more colors than Black, purple, and pink (gray isn't much better). Love the case though, and life proof's warranty!

I bought this case due to my line of work. I’ve dropped it at least 10 times onto concrete surfaces and it’s held up nicely. And it was dropped from 5-9 feet. yes the case is a bit beat up but the phone is still in immaculate condition. Only reason it didn’t get a full 5 stars, it makes the phone extremely wide. Makes it a bit difficult to handle with one hand;(maybe why I dropped it a ton of times)

i love that it is clear because my iphone is so pretty and it doesn't cover it up protects my phone great very satisfied
