Solid case and not too big yet very solid and water proof. Does take some time for it to be broken in, buttons and open case for charging is hard at first

This case is awesome, if you feel you want the protection it can provide. I love the fact that it allows me to actually feel my glass screen, and not some cheap built in screen protector. There are a few annoyances though. The charger and headphone port are small and usually only fit the official charger and EarPods. They include a adapter for the headphones, but most people will lose the adapter. I hate that an expensive case like this doesn't come with the belt clip, and has to be purchased by itself. But other than that, it is a great case.

I have just had this case a few weeks and it has already saved me from disaster twice. I bumped my phone off of the counter and on to the vinyl floor and gasp. When I picked it up, I expected to see a cracked screen but found a fully functioning 5S. Then, the phone fell out of my pocket while napping in a recliner. When I awoke and began folding the recliner, the mechanism seemed to jam. I investigated and found the phone wedged in the scissor action of the chair. The case had some marks but the phone does not have a scratch. All of that protection and the case looks great too!

First off, let me say that I love lifeproof cases. They are less bulky that their direct competitor, and quite simply, just work. My phone has been dropped many times, never a scratch on it because of this case. I can take my phone in my swim trunks, never a problem. My phone sits in a mount on the handlebars of my motorcycle in all weather, no problems. The ONLY downside is that you can wear out the buttons if you are like me and are constantly fiddling with stuff in your hands. That is the only reason I end up buying more than one case per phone upgrade.

I've used a couple of different cases for the iPhone and this is the first one that doesn't interfere with the phone usage yet provides ample protection. Like it's name implies, it leaves the screen completely uncovered so you don't lose the natural feel of the touch screen. A screen protector is provided, but is optional and not necessary to maintain the case's water resistance. The port covers are very sturdy and the case comes with a headphone adapter that allows you maintain water resistance with your headphones plugged in.

Perfect fit for my son's phone because he's always dropping his phone. It's a nice design because it's so thin and has a fun color.

I work in the military and needed a good phone cover that will protect it from a fall and water. This one was perfect because my phone still looks small and not so bulky and ugly. The price was worth it as well. I've accidently dropped it and got paint on it at work and there are no signs of damage! The paint once it dried chipped off really easily and didn't leave a stain. Gosh I love this case!

I love taking this underwater and taking pictures! It protects it even without the front screen! Of course I was worried but it was totally water free inside, only downfall is everyone I talk to on the phone says it sounds like I'm in a tunnel or just can't hear me.

This is the best waterproof case for the iPhone. No screen cover required, no issues using the screen.

This is my second Life Proof iPhone case (I had one on a 4s) and I continue to be very pleased with their products. The case is fairly easy to install and use. I like that the headphone jack cover is now attached to the phone case. The only issue (and this is likely the issue will all full covers) is the slightly muted sound from the speakers. This is not a huge issue but is something to take note of. This case is definitely worth the money!

Good color and fit, designed to protect phone. Hope my phone doesn't"t need extra Protection, but am.

got my case for a recent trip to Hawaii. Kept my phone safe and secure from ocean and sand! I didn't actually take it snorkeling cause it was 30' to the bottom and it is not rated for that depth! I didn't have to worry about where I was as long as the bottom charging cover was securely closed. It was really hard to open it to charge..... but worth knowing it would be waterproof if it slipped out of my hand while strolling on the beach!

I love being able to use the screen glass with my finger, most cases want to cover all that up. Laid this down on a table and knocked an ice tea over right on the face. This case fits SO WELL, nothing got inside, I just wiped it off. Drop it, no issue, bounces and is fine. Now this doesn't mean that your iPhone won't break, any phone can break in any case. But this one is super protective and I love it.

Slightly over six months ago I purchased this case, looking for the highest level of protection possible for my iPhone 5s. Although weary of the cover less screen (meaning you can touch the actual screen as advertised) I decided to purchase the Lifeproof Nüüd case for my phone. I won't go so deep into pointless details. Given my rating it is clear this was a good case. Even the accessories I could purchase for it, which I did purchase the belt clip and arm band, were quite exceptional. One of the things that I enjoyed, being that I do a lot of my own handy work and my phone would get just as filthy as me, was the complete ability to submerge the phone if needed to get it clean while using this case. Some mild soap and water and it was literally looking like new. The catch though is that, while 6 months is a long time, the life of the case is a bit short for my liking. At this moment the rubber material of the case has deteriorated enough that water submersion is not something I'll be doing anymore, to be safe. Over all the phone has survived with the case to drops, scratches, splashes, swimming, and dirt and grime. None often at all as I take good care of my phones to prevent such things. I just wish this would have lasted at least another 6 months.

It's a great product for protecting my phone investment! I really like the security it gives me knowing my phone is safe and protected. The only complaint is that some of my functions don't work as easily as when it's not in the case. Like the ease of touch, and sometimes it makes my calls hard to hear...but it's worth it for the protection it provides!

My previous nuud lasted a little over a year. A little disappointing, but it did it's job well, surviving drops and a few splashes here and there. I really like the thin profile for such a case, making it easy to carry in my pocket. My only real complaint is that the charging port cover wears out over time, resulting in the need for replacement. Overall, though, very satisfied with this case.

I bought this for my girlfriend who is always leaving her phone by the bathroom sink when she's doing her hair and makeup. I've had to replace two phones for because she accidentally bumps into the sink when there's water in there. Now she even takes her phone in the shower for music playback lol. Just make sure you do the water test it says when you open the package for the first time.

I will note that with the first one I purchased I had to return because the speaker assuming my was blocked with water on the water test and no one could hear me speak on the phone. I sucked the speaker, allowed for drying and still no luck, so I returned and purchased a second. The second purchase has been much better. Rugged and does the job. A little larger than my last phone case so it has been an adjustment. Lighter than I had expected which is great. Speaker sounds terrible with this device on but I guess it is worth the sacrifice. Everyone seems to be able to hear me well when speaking although when I need to turn speaker phone on when someone else calls me it sounds slightly muffled. The case had been pretty good considering I have a toddler that likes to "help" answer the phone ... Would recommend and very comparable to other products on the market and the waterproof feature is priceless..

I have lifeproof cases on all my iOS devices from phones to iPads. The slimmest thinnest case with his much protection. I also love taking pics and shooting video in the pool under water!! Also lifeproof has an awesome warranty it comes with. I had the snaps to the power input cover snap off. I made a claim online and they sent me a brand new case with no fuss!!

I've been very pleased with the purchase of the LIfeproof case. I take my phone into the shower with me to continue watching tv shows or netflix without interruption and I never have to panic if I get caught in the rain during a bike ride without a plastic baggy for my phone because I DON'T NEED ONE! I previously used the Oscar brand of cases and though it held up through drops and such, it was the trip though a full cycle in the washer that made me regret that purchase. Small annoyances include the fact that I can't plug the AUX cable into the phone to play through the car stereo with this case. With the supplied screw in earphone adapter, the AUX cable connection works fine. I occasionally have trouble with the earphone plug not being securely connected to the adapter so answering the phone does me no good and sometimes the controls on the earphones don't work with the app that's playing music or video to stop, play, fast forward, or change volume. I'm not sure if the problem is the earphones or the adapter. I've used the earphones A LOT. I also often forget that I have the adapter in place and try to answer the phone wondering why I can't hear and they can't hear me. That's my fault though. Overall, it was worth investing in the Lifeproof case for me and I strongly recommend it to others.
