This is a short review of the LifeProof WAKE Case. This case is made from 85% ocean-based plastic. The good is you would absolutely not know when you're using the case that it's made from recycled plastic and it has a nice soft touch, the wave pattern makes it easy to hold and the buttons are easy to press. Personally, I think the buttons on the case are better than those in other cases. The scary thing is I can't believe there is so much ocean plastic that can make a case. Do the right thing, buy this case. It will protect your phone, feels great, has a nice ridge that also protects the screen and once you buy it, go to their website to also register so that they will donate $1 to an ocean or river charity of your choice. Recommended. PS. This case fits my iPhone 11 perfectly but is also rated to fit the iPhone XR.

i bought this case because i wanted to test it out. only had it about a week and there were a bunch of scuffs. it’s the type of material. i returned it.

I bought my first iPhone a few months ago and with it, I bought a 'pretty' sparkly clear phone cover for my green phone. It looked GREAT! I showed my daughter and she laughed and told me I need a better one. I got my new Lifeproof cover in a darker green/teal and it looks good. The phone snapped right in, perfect fit. The texture of the cover helps hold it so that is an added plus. There is a decent gap between the height of the cover and the phone so I know if I drop it the screen will not hit first. The buttons are orange so they are easy to see. Since this is an OtterBox, it has my daughters approval and all is good!!!

So, I am not a huge fan of the LifeProof Fre cases, so I was hesitant to try this case. I am actually glad I did. It fits my iPhone 11 very well, it covers the edges to shield from drops. I did conduct a 6ft drop test on to a hardwood floor, it PASSED!!!! I am in love with the fact that this case is made from recycled plastics from the ocean! I would recommend this case to anyone who is in the market. The wave design is amazing! The feel in your hand(s) is amazing! Please give this case a try. Score for LifeProof!

The product is very slim it’s from a trusted brand of mine but it’s still too slim for me

This case is perfect for my iphone 11! I love that it is made with recycled plastic. The case is lightweight, doesn't add bulk to my phone but also feels like it provides superior protection! It's a great case. The grip is good, feels good in my hand and have had no problems accessing the buttons on my phone. I highly recommend this case. I really liked the packaging too, case slides out of the packaging making it super easy.

If you are concerned about all the pollutants and still want a great looking case then this case works for you. It is made from natural products from the sea. It is not a malleable case though more harder then I expected which I’m good with as it offers decent protection. The overall look is awesome and very hard to drop it due to slipping out of your hand. I really like the look feel and also way it is made.

LifeProof - WAKE Case for Apple® iPhone® 11 is a decent product. It is made of rugged plastic that is from recycled ocean plastic which is fantastic!! Positives: Lightweight, enables wireless charging, fits over phone well, easy to slide in pocket, one piece thin design, and doesn't make the phone too heavy. Negatives: Way too slippery, doesn't come with a screen protector, not very protective for my phone so that worries me. I use it when I'm not leaving the house and want to be able to place it on my wireless charger. When I leave the house I switch back to my OtterBox and feel much safer using that. While I love the concept, that it is eco friendly, and the fact that they donate to partners that you can select. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't purchase another nor recommend this product.

I've never been someone who gets an indestructible phone case. I am guilty of going with something that is pretty over functional. I will say that this case is both pretty and functional. The case itself is extremely thin and when I say that, I just mean that it isn't boxy and huge like some other protective phone cases. Personally, I don't like bulky cases on my phone. In addition, it is very easy to put on and take off the case. I will say that when I first put it on, I was having issues with constantly taking screen shots when trying to lock the phone. This is properly just user error on my part, but it was a strange occurrence since I didn't seem to have this issue prior. However, I've stop doing that, so you can take it as you will. The case is study and protects my phone nicely - I am constantly dropping my phone as I juggle with carrying all the stuff that my kids refuse to carry and my phone is safe in this case.

Decent case but it doesn’t fit good with side buttons. When the case is on it’s difficult to press the button.

Worst case I ever brought….have taken it back for credit.

This is my first time getting a LifeProof made case, but I must say that the WAKE Case for the iPhone 11 is really nice. I like this case very much. For starters, the case looks amazing. It comes is a few different colors for you to choose. The back has a nice look and texturing that is different from any the other cases I have had. It has a unique look and feel. It is not just a boring phone case. The phone fits securely into the case. There was no slippage of the phone and the cutouts for the speakers, mute switch, and camera were all adequate to allow for functionality. The side buttons were covered by the case, but I had no difficulty using them. Also there is a bit of a raised lip on the border of the front face. I found this handy. I have a habit of laying the phone facedown on a counter or other flat surface. This raised lip makes sure to prevent the face of the iPhone from hitting the surface. I did drop my phone accidentally from about 3 feet onto the floor. I can't guarantee that your outcome will be the same but the phone was fine with that. I may have gotten lucky with the angle of impact so I don't recommend doing that. I just include that information anecdotally. I only have a couple of complaints about the case. First of all, I wish the case surrounded the entire front face. On this case, the area by the speaker and lightning port has not piece running along this edge. The corners are covered but not the flat part. It just leaves a little exposed part where if something hit it at just the right angle, it may not protect the phone. It may just be personal preference, but that is up to you. The other part is I wish the cutout around the camera was a bit more raised. Again though this may just be personal preference. All in all though I really like this case. The stylish look and feel make it a really special case. People who see it certainly will like the appearance. I recommend this case to anyone looking for an iPhone 11 case.

I’m sure this is an awesome case but it didn’t fit my phone! It was an honest mistake when I was given it by an employee but I honestly couldn’t even use it long enough to give it an honest review!

The LifeProof - WAKE Case for Apple® iPhone® 11 - Black provides a ultra-thin case protector made from 85% ocean-based plastics. Form fitted and designed specifically for your phone model, while maximizing drop protection up to 2 meters. Even the product packaging promotes recycling. I found this case to be adequate for general daily use. The case is made of hard plastic, which I found to be very slick and slippery for most surfaces. Unlike other cases, there is no real cushioning around the corners and edges, just ribbed plastic. I see this as a potential risk for damage to phones as there is no "give" in this product. Additionally, while I am please to own a product that cleans up the ocean from plastics, but the hardness of the product, slippery nature of the plastic, and limited tactile quality for your hands, I do not see this as a great phone protection for more than general everyday use. PROS - Lifeproof brand and quality - Earth-friendly product - General protection for everyday use - Socially responsible donations for purchases CONS - Hard plastic - Scratches easy - Slippery - Limited protection for heavy use or high risks of drops This product might be great for most users. I would recommend if you are looking for general protection and an earth-friendly product. I would not personally recommend it based on my usage and drop risk - scratches would be a daily issue for me.

The LifeProof Wake case for the Apple 11 is slim and lightweight. It is attractive and my teenager loves it. He skateboards and carries it in his pocket and he has not had any issues with the phone being protected. He has dropped it and and the phone was fine. Great case protector.

would never buy again . dropped it with my phone on and screen was not the same after that

I especially love the feel of this case in my hand. The ripples on the back look cool and are an added texture to help hold onto it. The case is made of recycled ocean-based plastic for those who are environment friendly. I personally wouldn't purchase this case solely based off of that but it feels like a sturdy case and I still would have chosen it based off the looks of it. This case is thin enough to be QI charge compatible but is drop proof up to 2 meters which is a pretty common feature. The edges of the case come up a bit to help protect the front of your phone if it were to drop face down which is an important feature to me. Overall, I am a huge fan of the quality of Lifeproof cases!

Flimsy not a good product my phone did not feel Safe.

Looking at the Lifeproof Wake case in the package looks like many other dropproof cases I've owned. I can see the serrated inside lip, which I’m guessing helps reduce shock to the phone if it’s dropped. I can also see that the left buttons aren’t molded with the case like the ones I’ve used, but they are red and stand out nicely. Pressing on them I can tell they will operate once the phone is inserted as they are fixed in place when the case is empty. Reading the box, I see that the case is made with recycled ocean plastic and that Lifeproof gives back with each purchase. Taking the case out of the box, I’m a bit disappointed. The plastic is hard, but that’s okay. It’s the slippery feel to the case or is it the plastic? I flip the case and see the wave pattern is embossed and looks great, but again, it just feels like it wants to slide out of my hand. If it’s the plastic, Lifeproof should add a rougher texture to the sides and a bit on the back so it feels more secure in my grip. The low spaces (trough) on the back look textured, but at least to me, they don’t feel textured. The top of the waves (crest) appears smooth. I think if they put an aggressive texture on the crest, the sides, and the top and bottom, the case would suit me much better. As for fit and function. It works great. It fits the phone. The camera opening, the mute opening, and the buttons all work. The mute buttonhole is small, so those with large fingers might need a pencil eraser or something to stick in there. That might be bothersome if you fit that category and need to mute your phone several times during the day. The lip on the front protrudes the phone face, but if you have a screen protector on it, they are about flush and that could cause an individual to replace a few protectors if they have butterfingers. Compared to my Android phone and case, the Lifeproof case would seem to benefit from a little taller lip so that if dropped and it lands flat, the protector might not make contact with the ground and break. What else is there? Well, the bottom lip is open sans the rounded edges. That allows for easy access to the ports, yet there’s still some protection should it land on a corner first. It’s a one-piece unit, so it’s as easy to use and putting on one sock. Just slip in the left side first and pop in the right, top, and bottom. Tada! Overall, it’s well constructed, but I wouldn’t recommend this case because for me it’s just too slippery. If a user is looking for a case with little to no grip (I’m not sure why) this would be an awesome case for that user. I like items I hold to have a gritty tactile feel.

I'm loving this case, Its sturdy and slim enough. I like that the outer shell is hard and the weavy texture makes it easy to handle without slipping. I previously had a silicone case and that was a lint and dust magnet, also it was hard to slip into my pockets, not with this case. It doesn't attract any finger prints, lint and dust at all and its easy to slip into my pockets.It protects the phone all around, however at the bottom there is a larger cutout for the speaker and charging port (the corners on the bottom are still well protected). It is also compatible with my tempered glass screen protector I have installed, it does not touch it at all.
