Great colors, brightness and easy to set up and use.

now let me tell ya, these bulbs, will rock your socks off. those colors can get so bright they’ll burn your eyes and I absolutely love it. mood lighting? check. need some dope lights for your stream setup? covered here. intimate time with a close female friend who you’re trying to climb out of the friend zone with? turn on those red lights and let the magic happen. these things will kiss you on the cheek and tuck you in to bed with their beautiful vivid colors. buy these bulbs baby, take my word.

A great addition to our “smart” home. Bulb #8. Easy to set up (occasionally forgets WiFi but an easy fix). Don’t really take advantage of the colors and effects but the warm settings are peaceful.

LIFX is my first smart light I’ve ever owned. Went on a whim and bought 2 for the living room. Having 2 gives you an option of melding colors together for an entertaining color scheme while watching movies. My only gripe is every other day one or the other drops out of the HomeKit pairing and you can’t control the lights through Siri. Makes you go through the pairing process over again.

The Lifx A19 is an awesome smart lightbulb. It's super bright at 1100 lumens and very easy to setup. It seems a bit steep in price until you realize that it doesn't require a hub like the Philips Hue lights do.

I had a very specific area where a Smart Light was a need and don't expect to install them throughout my home. This was a great product as it didn't require an additional hub so installation/ set up was very easy. If I was planning on installing multiple lights I might have opted for a system that relies on a hub to keep the per bulb cost down. Alexa integration was flawless as well.

My wife asked for a bedroom light that would automatically come on gradually in the morning to help us wake up before the dawn. This light works well in her dresser lamp for that purpose, programmed using only the LIFX user interface via my Android phone. The light is wifi-enabled so does not require a hub and also works very well with Amazon Alexa. A key selling point for me was also that the light puts out 1100 lumens, which is quite a bit more that the 800 maximum with the Philips Hue family. I like the multiple color options as a fun toy, but mostly use the variable white colors (e.g. different Kelvin temperatures from incandescent to daylight). If I was planning for many smart lights and was OK with only 800 lumens per bulb, I likely would have thought more about Philips Hue, but this choice works well for us.

I have seven of these in my home and when they work they are an absolute delight. Being able to turn your lights on and off using your phone is ultra convenient but the cool factor comes with being able to paint your room with colored light. You can set any mood in the room that you want. So why the 4 star rating? Using the Android app some of the lights randomly go off line and become unresponsive. The only quick fix that I have found is to power of every LIFX bulb in my home, reset my router then power all the bulbs back on. If you had bulbs all throughout your home it would be a royal pain in the ankle to have to power off all the light fixtures. Other than that, I love being able to turn my lights on when I arrive home at night before I walk in the door and step into the colored scene of my choosing.

I have these around the house, and they work good for a while but sometimes disconnects and it’s a pain to reconnect it sometimes.

This is the coolest smart bulb ever. Just screw it in, pair it to your smart device and you are good to go. No additional hubs to buy or worry about having. It works well with apple home kit. And I love how many colors you can choose from. I plan on buying many more of these smart bulbs in the future.

This brand and 3rd generation light is awesome. I made the investment to change out all of my recessed ceiling lights and I could not be more impressed, happier, and satisfied. The colors, effects, and compatibility this light and brand offers is awesome. Check out the company's website lifx.com to view the selections and YouTube videos comparison to the Philips Hue lights. Then you will see for yourself that these lights offer more than the competitors in the market. No hub needed and if you have multiple lights each one can be controlled separately, as a selected group, or as a entire home or business. The app and light(s) are very responsive with no lag. This company nailed it with these lights.

I purchased this to go in a torchiere floor lamp I purchased from Lowes and this works great. Plenty of light and I love that it is color changing. Only issue I have is sometimes the bulb doesn't respond to the Windows app and have had it a couple of times where it doesn't work with Alexa either. All I have to do is turn the light switch off and on and it works again.

I tried the hue lighting system and was unimpressed. The lights don't get bright enough and the app doesn't do much and you have to download more apps to get more functionality. These lights are bright and beautiful, and the app has so much function to it. It makes setting up an easy process, although can be a bit tedious as there wifi bassed and take a little longer to set up each bulb. With the app, there are a lot of smart modes that can change the lights to music and such. Even a spooky setting to flicker the lights. Integrating it to IFTTT is a breeze through the app. Overall, a great product with a full lineup of different light products coming out this year.

These bulbs are really great now that they can be connected to HomeKit and Alexa. They are fast and responsive. When using the app you have total control, using them in fun and interesting ways. Though I've found that using the LIFX app, sometimes the bulbs do not appear or seem to lose connection.

I bought three, and they all installed easily to my existing wireless without the need for an intermediary bridge. Lights can be individually or collectively tuned for color and intensity from a smartphone. The 24h cycling program is GREAT: my lights warm up at sunrise, turn off a couple minutes after I leave for work, turn on again 5 minutes before I'm home, and then gently dim as bedtime approaches. I'm glad I went with the LIFX @ 1100 lumens, as other brands capped out at 800 lumens. To me, knowing the difference between a 60W bulb and a 75W one made that an easy choice.

I researched both LIFX and Hue light bulbs looking for a way to upgrade my smart home lighting, and these bulbs are amazing! I know Philips recently updated their bulbs to have more accurate colors, but LIFX took the edge for me with the extra lumens offered as well as the ease of use of their app. The only thing I’m disappointed in is their current inability to integrate with Apple’s HomeKit. They’ve worked well for me, not only for accent lighting, but everyday automated home lighting. Overall, I’m very pleased with how these smart bulbs and their quality turned out, especially since I was able to start out small to test them without having to buy an entire hub.

Very bright lights connects easy to my alexa and has a verity of custom colors and preset colors and affects.

I've had Lifx lights since the first generation. With this third generation some of the connectivity issues seen to be fixed and are a little brighter. I like that you do not need a hub you can control them by voice with Google home or the echo. They make great entertainment conversations.

I have been doing a lot of research on smart lights. This is one of the best options out there since you don’t need to worry about connecting it to a hub. They also had a big sale on their website so I purchase few. Love how you can group them together, and they works with Alexa and Siri.

These are the first smart bulbs we have purchased and have enjoyed all the options available and how it has added the easy availability to change the colors for different uses. They are working well with the Echo Dot and Alexa with no problems. They connected easily via wifi and apps.
