I bought this bulb and a LIFX color bulb and tried them both in the same room. After about a week I determined that I liked the color bulb much better, even when not using color. So I decided to exchange it for another color LIFX bulb. Everything else about LIFX I like, and am enjoying the two color bulbs in my living room.

This light is the greatest. No hub needed and works flawlessly. Easy to set up and works perfectly with Amazon Echo. With all due respect, the negative reviews must come from people who don't know what they are doing or have terribly set up Wi-Fi. This light throws more light than my CFL bulb before it and again works flawlessly from its own App and Alexa. But it!!

I love how even before I walk into my room, I can turn on the light by simply touching my phone a few times. Works very well

Delivered on time. Easy wifi setup. I use this white light in a "down light" over the kitchen sink. I adjusted it to 25% brightness and leave it turned on all the time as a "night" lite. If someone turns it off with the light's power switch it goes off. When turned back on with the power switch the light comes on "full" brightness and then quickly adjusts down to my 25% brightness setting.

I first tried the Philips Hue bulbs, but found they were too expensive, and my spouse didn't care for them. I then found these in shades of white, they are perfect! I have them setup to gradually turn on each morning, simulating a sunrise. I also have the same in the evening for sunset. They are great bulbs at a great price! I will definitely recommend these and buy more soon.

We have 3 of the multicolor capable bulbs in our living room but wanted same functionality (but without the need for colors) in our bedroom. Great for the ability to turn off lights without leaving the bed after reading a book. My only wish is that they were a little bit brighter when at full power.

this light does not fail me and with the cold nights experienced now this light come in REALLY handy

This is my 4th Lifx bulb purchase, and I am very pleased by the reliability and function of these LED bulbs. This is a "tunable white" bulb which is great if you want warmer light to feel more cozy, but want whiter light to read by or do crafts. The amazing part is that the amount of light doesn't change depending on the color like some other bulbs do. Connected with our Harmony remote and our Alexa without grief! I'm very pleased!

Other than the high price point...I love this product. I wanted to have some lights that my Amazon Echo could control without a hub...these fit the bill just perfectly

This is the best lamp, Setup is very easy only take few mins and done.

The light is great but software continues to be buggy. It drops occasionally from app. So far I have not had to go back and reconnect it though.

I love my LIFX bulbs. They don't require a hub and work flawlessly with my amazon echo, smartthings system, and ifttt. Setup is super easy with the LIFX app. Great product !
