These lights have been great. The Multi Color effect gives different moods to the room. Easy to install and add to Home Kit, works best with the LIFX App. The ability to turn on & off the lights and change colors from your phone when away is a plus. It's added security when you get home after dark or just want to give the feel that someone is home turning on & off lights even when no one is.

These LED floods put out a lot of light. Was relatively easy to get them to work with my Echo Plus... you just have to follow the directions exactly on the LIFX site. You have to activate each bulb, one at a time. I have 5 of these in can fixtures in my kitchen. I did lose connectivity with Alexa one, but all I had to do was re-boot my router so they re-logged in to the network.

Already had in-house lights in Living and Family rooms. Was easy to add two of these for the porch and enable a new location. Use with Alex and have programed all lights to auto on and off. Having ability to change color is good fun during evening activities.

Quality of lighting (brightness and hues) is broader than with the Phillips Hue lights that I also own. The LIFX are more stable with electrical outages (maintain memory), no controller to keep adjusting for new entries or features, and a more convenient app to control. Have placed outside for interesting light highlights. Can't wait for Halloween.

Fantastic bulb. In all honesty, i did return the 2 bulbs I bought and then i had an epiphany. I had these bulbs running through a Lutron Casetta dimmer switch. I decided to replace the switch with a traditional decora paddle switch and kablammie, the lifx bulbs have been working like champs ever since. I love these bulbs! The colors and the brightness are bettwr tha the competitors. The whites are brighter and truer in my opinion than other smart bulbs. This is a very bright bulb. I will be buying more of these br30 bulbs. I also ordered the lifx switch but that is on backorder for now. 1100 lumens and outdoor rated, awesome bulb. I have 2 on my back porch and one inside now and more bulbs coming soon.

What a world we live in. I bought these without my wife knowing. At free will, you can change the color or dim the lights how ever you want. If you watch Star Wars, you can turn them blue or red. If you have a Christmas party, green and red. We installed them in our living room, so if we have a party, we can completely change the look and feel of the house. They’re expensive, but they’re LED lights that you can change the colors on... We literally live in a world where you can change the color of a lightbulb with your phone. Hilarious. And also very energy efficient! In all honesty, I recommend these to everyone I know. They’re great lights and fun for a quick change of mood. My only gripe with them, is if the internet goes out, they’re not as much fun. They also take quite a while to connect if you have more than one. Still, worth it. Wanted to include a pic of myself dancing in purple lighting, but my wife said that would be cheesy. Just buy the lights.

When you want a light that can simply connect to Wi-Fi through an intuitive app, this is the lightbulb for you. This blub and one other one from LIFX were used to replace an older light system that required a hub, which worked well for the most part. But having the hub powered on and somewhere in between where all the light can communicate with the hub was a bit of a hassle. Plus once connected to my Wi-Fi network, I was able to connect both LIFX lights to both my Google and Alexa assistants with little hiccups along the way. Nice and bright lights and can display a wide variety of colors.

This lightbulb does so many things. After going through the simple and intuitive setup process the bulb really shined. With so many programming options and the ability to set times for various dimming and colors, it is great for our movie room. It can even detect music and keep rhythm and puts on a great light show. We can even have it programmed to auto dim through our Harmony Hub movie activity. While it is expensive we love having it.

Best smartlight out there. I have them throughout my house and have up to 24 for 1 year and only had to replace 4 since then and able to control with amazon echo. I could have kept using the lights because the only issue was the color was not matching all the others. Easy to add and control from smartphone.

I’ve used a few different brands of smart bulb, and LIFX is the best. They’re the brightest, have the best app, and the best color gamut. Best of all, no hub required! They are the most expensive, and you may find yourself needing an upgraded wireless setup (I went mesh) to handle all of the devices, but it’s worth it to me. Only knocked off a star because of the price. They do go on sale semi-regularly; I recommend waiting for a sale unless you’re made of money :)

We bought these for my son's room and the light his room up all most to much lol. He loves changing the colors and how well he can see every inch of his room! I will buy these again (whenever the first ones burn out). I would suggest anyone looking for a very bright light with the option of being able to change colors please purchase these bulbs! You will not be sorry.

Bulb is very bright and the Lifx app for iOS works very well. I am having issues with the 1100 bulbs connecting to 3rd party apps. I have a total of 14 r30 color 1100 bulbs and 2 color standard size 1000 bulbs. I have no issues with that amount of lights.

I had previously purchased many Philips Hue BR30 Bulbs for my home but when I decided to add a few more LED bulbs to my collection I thought I might try another brand (LIFX). I have been very pleased as these bulbs are brighter and produce better colors...especially Green! Additionally, they don't require a HUB to work and they can retain your last color settings when you turn them off via hardwired light switch. This is something the Philips Hue bulbs cannot do and it drives me nuts! It's so nice to have my LIFX bulb recall my color temperature settings when I turn them off or on via the wall switch. The only knock I would give to the product was that it took me two times to pair the product with my WiFi on initial setup. Otherwise though, this product is IMO superior to the Philips Hue and I would highly recommend it to friends, etc.

LIFX has one thing going for it and that is their bulbs are significantly brighter than Philips Hue at 1100 Lumens. This is the only reason I bought these after owning some Phillips. Philips refuses to make a bulb brighter than 800 Lumens. People complain about the Phillips’s bridge, but it is the bridge that makes them so stable. LIFX at times are a little glitchy especially using HomeKit. I will sometimes tell it to turn on bulbs I have grouped together and two of them will come on and the third one either won’t or will be a different color. Lifx Connect directly to your Wi-Fi so like everything else that is Wi-Fi operated sometimes it is just going to be sluggish depending on how much traffic’s going through at that moment. This is why the bridge that Phillips has eliminates that issue. The fact that Phillips does not make a brighter bulb is the only thing that’s keeping LIFX alive in my opinion.
