Easy to setup and no additional hub required. Work with Apple Home so you can use Siri voice commands to control. Great so far and they use less energy. The colors are fantastic as well.

These things are great when they work. I have has issues in the past with either the wi-fi electronics goin out or the LEDs themselves stop working. They advertise a long life span for these bulbs but I haven't had one last past 4 years. I do love the connectivity and the app (when they work). I also think the colors are much deeper than a Phillips Hue.

I love LIFX bulbs so much. This bulb in particular lights up rooms more evenly since it's a floodlight and they get really bright and the colors can get really nice and saturated.

This is my third LIFX bulb, I used two of these for my front porch and set them up to automatically turn on and off at sun set and rise. Never have to worry coming home to a dark entry or forgetting to turn off the lights when their not needed. LIFX bulbs are a bit more expensive per bulb but there is no up front cost for a hub device. Wish there was a slightly cheaper non-RGB version as that is not something I need for the outside.

Not requiring a separate hub (glaring at you Philips) that costs additional $$ was the biggest reason for trying LIFX. After my success with 2 BR30s for the porch, I bought the A19 for the garage light. They are considerably brighter than any non-SMART light and since they are controllable, I can set the brightness to varying levels from gentle illumination to "I need to see in the dark while outside". The mobile app is fantastic and really allows you to take advantage of the many features including cool "effects" such as flickering between colors (great for halloween), strobing, and other types. My goto brand for smart lights.

My favorite Smart Light. App is well done, works with all hubs.

Works well with Google Home, but gets occasionally buggy. The $60 price is still high, but was able to take advantage of Black Friday pricing at $40 per bulb.

It took a little bit for the device to pair with the app in my phone, but now seems stable and works well

There are many things to like about the Lifx smart bulbs such as the price point, color reproduction, no hub required, and brightness (75 watt equivalent vs. most LEDs 60). However I had one issue I could not resolve and Lifx support took too long to respond to my issue. I waited until the last possible day to return the bulbs and as it would happen Lifx responded the very next day... The issue I had was with the IP Address these bulbs tried to commandeer from my network. I have IP addresses reserved for certain devices on my router and it is not supposed to hand out addresses to any device that doesn't match the specified MAC. Yet somehow when I would power cycle my router these bulbs would assign themselves IPs that were reserved... This caused all kinds of issues on my network and had me stumped for days. The last day or two I had the bulbs I finally figured out why I was having so many network issues and why my smart bulbs were not responding. Unfortunately the 15 day return policy at Best Buy was almost up so I returned them though I think I might have been able to get them working by rearranging my network IP reservation scheme but didn't have the chance. I've got many devices on my network and never had an issue with IP address reservations before. Oh well I spent a bit more and got the Phillis Hue setup and have been very impressed I just wish they were brighter.

So far ive had this a week and works pretty good some minor connecting issues due to home kit problems but on apples end support was awesome and got it working great

The bulb works as promised. Package was delivered without any damage to the bulb. As a part of home lighting it changes color and brightness, managed by dashboard.

Nice Bulb and controlling it with the app is easy. Only downside is that every once in a rare while the bulbs lose connectivity and require reboots.

This bulb really gives a room some special ambiance with colors all along the spectrum. This smart bulb has an app that programs the bulb and it does quite a lot from going with the vibration of music to cycling through different colors to just remaining a certain color. You have to be smart to use this smart bulb to its full potential.

I love LIFX lights so much honestly. Nothing else other than the bulb and downloading the app to work!

Best lights ever I love this lights they are amazing

This is my second Lifx light and I have to say that as far as setting them up on my wifi network and with Alexa, they are super simple and work consistently. More expensive than a lot of others, but I have had others that will not connect, connect sometimes and just act weird at other times. Good light, but would recommend waiting until a sale to buy.

I have all sort of LIFX light but this is the foremost the best I ever had so far.

These are the best! No hub is needed, they work with the light switches in the house, they produce awesome colors, and any shade of white.

I like being able to control my lights with my phone and tablet and being able to change the colors is very cool. Only small complaint I have is that I have trouble updating the bulb's firmware and sometimes the bulb does not show up in my app, but that usually resolves it self if I turn the light switch off and then back on to "reset the bulb".
