Pretty easy to pair, works with Google after configuring as well. I really like the fade in customization in the schedule. It can fade on to a desired brightness over a custom period of time. I had to enable IoT mode on my ISP provided router to get 2.4 ghz working but that's nothing to do with the light- just trying to save the next gal some hassle ;-)

These are by-far my favorite smart bulbs and the only bulb I own. I chose these bulbs because they can be configured using Apples homekit. I don't want my smart equipment communicating outside my network with anyone but me. These bulbs hit the mark. The lights themselves are high quality and perform perfectly even when my internet is out. I have three in my office and I can set my mood to whatever I'm feeling. I have a custom lighting hues configured for reading, gaming, working, and streaming content. I even have automations configured for waking up or when I'm out of town. They're very bright and the colors are rich and vibrant. As a product recommendation - I think they should put the QR codes on the lights themselves. You will need to store the QR code stickers in a safe space if you ever need to reset them. Once when I updates my Apple TV I needed to reset the connections to my bulbs. This took about 3 minutes per bulb. Otherwise, this product is perfect.

I’ve tried out a few different smart lightbulbs - These LIFX are definitely cool! I’m on ios (apple) and they integrate with Apple HomeKit. You can add additional bulbs (or other devices) anywhere your network reaches. The app lets you completely control vast color ranges, brightness, effects, animations & more. You can name each room/area/device (lamps etc). Set up and save scenes which can include whole house/area or separate rooms/devices. It’s so customizable the only limitation is your imagination. You can set this to work with Alexa and Siri and with HomeKit etc. I have different scenes for relaxing w/music or podcasts, bedtime chill, dance party wildness, romantic dinner ambiance (flickering candlelight FX) even movies with the lights reacting to the audio. Your entire home inside & out can be run through this app/homekit. Different people can use the Lifx app, but not at the same time. If 2 people try to control them at once it froze the app, but restart it & was fine. Was better going through HomeKit as each person has their own configuration. Lights can also be switched off manually, but don’t forget to switch them back on in the morning to be at ur fingertips for next use. I like walking upstairs (lit up) then tapping the downstairs scene/room/lamps off from upstairs. I’m not sure where the amount of devices caps out as I’m only adding bit by bit. I know u can add more through HomeKit. Experiment with the experience! You won’t be disappointed and the possibilities are WOW! Go online and see the uber easy tutorials and videos of the awesome ways people have used this innovative technology. Bottom line - try these and create a whole new plethora of atmospheres in your home or business. They’re easy to use, especially if you spend a little time to get familiar with the way it all works. You’ll be glad you gave em a shot, but they’re only as “Smart” as the user - so be patient and put in an hour to learn the ins & out. Or… pop em in & experiment!

These bulbs are quite good. Once they were set up, they were relatively easy to use and had a nice range of brightness, color, and utility. The LIFX app is not super user-friendly. I had to really poke and prod to find what I needed to find. The main problem was getting them set up. For some reason I couldn't just use the LIFX app -I also had to add the lights to the apple "home" app. There was no way around it as far as I could tell. Setting the first light up took 5 minutes. Setting the second light up took about 25 minutes. It failed twice, and I thought I was just banging my head against he wall, but it worked the third time for some reason. These are good lights, and might be worth the money if you don't want to pay for a bigger name.

Vibrant and bright colors, great control app, I am in the process of rreplacing all of my smart bulbs with LifX, best quality over its competing brands so far.

I like that these bulbs work with Apple HomeKit, without needing an extra hub. I already have a HomePod Mini and that’s all that’s needed. It’s easy to set scenes with different colors, or automatically dim them or turn them on and off. They can be timed to turn on and off while you’re away, and you can check your HomeKit to make sure they’re set properly.

App is easy to use. Set up was a struggle for a little bit, it seemed once I took a break and came back it went smoothly so it could’ve been something with how they initiated the process the first time. Once setup however they are great. They can be very bright or very dim and any color you choose. The only downside was having to log into the same account on my partners phone so she could operate them as well. It would be easier if I could delegate access somehow. Price was good.

I have approximately 20 bulbs. I bought four more for my kids room at their request this holidays season. I’m really excited to give them these bulbs and to try them out. Most lifx bulbs have been high quality and very bright.

The LIFX lights are fun for automation and one of my favorite bulbs. The first generation Lifx bulbs was kinda messy if you had to reset the wifi. However the newer generation ones are great and easy to reset and work. The colors are brilliant and fun to sync with music and holiday themes.

Bright, vivid colors, along with tunable whites. The app is very easy to use. The bulbs are a little pricy but very good features. (Requires WiFi to control with the app)

These lights are amazing, so many colors to pick from and themes, brightnesses, etc. I'm even able to turn them on and off very easily.

Easy to add in the LiFX app as well as the Google Home app. A perfect incandescent color, not too bright, not too dim.

I had to replace an older dusk to dawn LIFX bulb that had failed. It lasted about six years. Got the color one on sale and it works great. I have a few of these that I have on a daily schedule and they are good for security purposes especially when we are away from home. They are not perfect, but have gotten better with time. I like the fact that I don’t need a hub. My only real complaint is cost.

They are much brighter than Phillips hue but when it comes down to connectivity, it tends to be a bit annoying. No complaints aside from that though, definitely would buy this again.
