I have been a fan of their music for years and was excited for the new album. When I listened to it for the first time I was disappointed. The couple of songs on the radio were the best on the cd and the others seemed to be filler. If you like the two radio songs download them, don't spend $15 for the whole cd.

Listen, if you want to listen to PJ from the early 90's this is not the record for you. Ten and V.s. have been reissued and sound great. If you want to listen to the band that has grown to become the become the best American rock band from the last 20 years, then yes, give this a spin! But if your "one of those" PJ fans who have not heard anything newer than the Vitalogy years one i feel sorry for you two you will not like this record. Everyone else.... This is the rock must buy this year.

Like a fine wine, Pearl Jam gets better and better. But this may actually be their best entire album yet! There is a wide range of musical styles and influences throughout this album. And Ed's voice has never been better. If you like the heavy stuff only, go listen to an early album. There are some simply amazing songs on this one, including Mind Your Manners, Pendulum, Sirens and Let the Records Play.

Pearl Jam put out another decent album. Although it does not hold a candle to their earlier works, it is still enjoyable to listen to.
