The film that inspired the television series of the same name, Limitless made good use of the "only 10% of your brain" myth before 2014's Lucy. Bradley Cooper is a brain-fried author who is introduced to NZT-48, a new drug that allows him to fully utilize his brain and get back on his feet. However, like most drugs, it has some side effects....deadly side effects. If you haven't seen it by now, do check it out.

It was a pretty good movie in my opinion. Never heard of it till we got it from Best Buy.

The TV series, currently on CBS, is what made me purchase this movie. For another $4.99 deal, the TV series made me curious enough about the movie and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I've been more of a fan of Bradley Cooper doing comedic roles, but he did a great job in this movie. If you're a movie collector, it's worth the $4.99 to own it vs. just renting for $1 (or more).

The writing and acting in this film made it worth it. It could have been another hack job but the story had a beginning, a middle and and end that all made sense, as it is was a "science fiction" movie, but not too far from today's reality. I don't want to give anything away in this review - if you want to know anything about it, go ask Alice...she's 10 feet tall.

Picked this up on deal-of-the-day for $5. Movie is very good with great acting from everyone in it (especially Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro). Picture and sound were very good. During the early scenes of the movie the picture is purposefully washed out and colorless but later on the colors are very crisp and bright. There is quite a bit of violence and foul language, so not recommended for those who are squeamish.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to unlock the unlimited potential of your brain & accomplish things you can only ordinarily imagine..just by taking a pill ! Sounds too good to be true....what about side effects...what if you had to take another pill each day you wanted to kick start your brain This movie takes you on a trip with one man, exploring these possibilities .

Love the movie, really entertaining take on a fun concept. But there are plenty other places where you can find a review of the movie. The movie comes in a standard Blu-Ray case, and when I picked up mine from BestBuy part of the case was broken, hence the subtracting of a star. Tried to get it exchanged but apparently when you take the disc home you can't get it exchanged.

What happens when you can pop a pill and be super smart? What are the benefits? Dangers? This is an interesting exploration of that theme and worth watching a couple times. Got the "extended cut" -- with a grand total of less than a minute of extra footage - mostly of extra skin that would have given it an "R" instead of its PG-13 rating.

I recently received a $5 BestBuy gift card and was able to use it to purchase two movies. I watched the Limitless show on CBS, so I'm interested in seeing the movie that the show was based on. As for the Quentin Tarentino 3-movie pack ... it's hard to believe that I've never seen Pulp Fiction! Looking forward to seeing all of those movies!

An unsuccessful writer's life is transformed by a top-secret "smart drug" that allows him to become a perfect version of himself. Starring: Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Abbie Cornish “Limitless” is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Violence, sexuality and the consumption of prodigious quantities of an imaginary drug.

"Limitless" is a great movie to watch. Makes you wonder how life might change if you had full access to your mind at all times. Bradley Cooper does a phenomenal job. I loved the movie so much that I was very excited when the TV series came out. I liked the TV show a lot and would recommend it as well. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after one season.

I didn't see this movie in the theaters, but thought it looked extrememly interesting. I have to say that I thought the overall premise of this movie was great. What if there was such an "enhancement" for our minds available, and what would the issues be with it. This movie may not be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a very clever and entertaining movie, with some good twists and turns. Some well-done special effects enhance the story. The "alternate ending" on the DVD isn't that different from the regular ending. It's especially fun to watch compared to the television series with the same name and one character.

Bradley was excellent in this suspenseful film. I found the movie storyline to be both intriguing and exciting to watch. This was my first Bradley Cooper movie and I've been an avid fan ever since. I thoroughly enjoyed LIMITLESS and would recommend this movie!\ to add to your collection of Blu Ray Films.

This movie will keep picking your mind wondering how things are going to unfold, I love movies like this, if you enjoyed this movie, make sure to check out the TV show that aired a few years later... it gives you what the movies leaves you hanging with, only wish there was another sequel.

I buy a lot of movies and I only buy blu-ray. Most modern movies the transfer to blu-ray is decent. This is a bit of a sifi/physiological thriller that started off on an interesting premise of a designer drug that gave you greater brain power. Intertaining movie and for the $5 worth the price.

An interesting look at what people are capable of...this movie challenges a lot of preconceived notions we have about the world. Every once in a while, a show, a book or a movie comes along that can change how you see things (at least for a little while). This is one of those movies. Certainly enjoyable and worth a couple hours.

This movie is great. It's a little gem that I've grown to love. Different than most hollywood movies out there. I love movies like this that are just original and do something a little different than mainstream. The acting is great. Bradley Cooper really holds the movie together. All supporting cast is great as well.

Bradley Cooper knocks it out of park in this one, a fun and entertaining movie. Imagine being able to take a pill and then being able to open up your mind in a way you've never been able to before. Compared to the more recent movie on a similar subject Lucy, Limitless blows Lucy outta the water with ease.

Worth watching several times. I find the concept of a pill that could allow you to access all if your brain, to be excellent. You find yourself wondering how you would react while watching which draws you even deeper into the movie.
