movie was out of stock for few weeks before i was able to place order. felt price was a great deal when it became available. movie arrived nearly a week earlier than expected delivery.

I missed this one in the theaters, but to get it for $6 on blu-ray was a no brainer as the story and performances were outstanding and even if you know the outcome, a worthy watch lies here

Spielberg never disappoints. What a fantastic behind the scenes look at one of the most profound US President’s. Daniel Day Lewis, as always, dives deep into the role and really sells it.

Excellent historical portrayal of Lincoln during the Civil War and his administration pushing through the 13th Amendment. Daniel Day Lewis is fantastic as is the rest of the cast. It's truly an insight to the way government functioned during the time period.

this is an excellent movie. well acted. the many sides of Lincoln are brought to light and the history just comes alive. Daniel day lewis and sally field were magnificent. it is very rare that you don't want a movie to end but this is one of them

There is nothing wrong with this edition. I love the film, but that is subjective. What is not is that this is a sufficient representation via the digital film transfer.

Overall a great movie that seems to accurately depict the internal struggles within the Lincoln administration, as well as those by the man himself. Shows the volatility of the political system, even back then. Highly recommended for history buffs.

Great film learned a lot after doing some more research around the events of the film

Day-Lewis’ performance was epic. He bailed Lincoln and it swelled upon an important part of his presidency. His life story would have been too much.

Cinematography, plot, acting, portrayal of historical event .. all superb. Although the actual Congressional vote was inaccurate, the outcome was the same. After all, Hollywood has to increase the suspense somehow - that is their business.

A brilliant film, artfully made letting you in to the inner machinations of politics in Lincoln’s day. Shows this legendary man as a complete and consummate politician. Gripping to the final twist.

Daniel Day Lewis made me feel like I was peeking on a historic event. Some of the facts I've read about Lincoln were incorporated in the movie. I could see how the subject matter might not play well in this area.

Haven't seen the picture yet but I love that I have it in my library. Now I can watch the picture whenever I want on blu-ray, DVD, or digital. Having the option to watch any time is what keeps me coming back to home video time and again. Can't wait to see the film but until then I love the possibility of watching it any time soon. Maybe even this weekend.

Solid film, Daniel Day-Lewis is a genius....BUT Spielberg erred in not including the assassination. I certainly understand and appreciate the significance of passing the 13th amendment, but I was not as moved by a climax that entailed legislation being passed as I would have been if I had seen the price Lincoln paid for getting that legislation passed.

Lincoln is a brilliant persona who teach us real values as society .natoon,etc and his speech still up this era or any era his vision is amazing love the man and I learn a lot about civil liberties and history

This movie won a Best Actor Oscar for Daniel Day Lewis, who caught the essence of Lincoln. Sally Field should have won an Oscar as well. Joseph Gordon Levy was fantastic as Robert Todd Lincoln. A must see.

Daniel Day Lewis' performance is captivating. Lincoln's voice, his backwoods charm, and so many of the subtle nuances that I grew up expecting ring true. I highly recommend this movie.

One of Spielberg's best fims boasts a superb cast, top notch directing, sets, locations and score (John Williams). Packaged with many extras, highly recommended for both the casual viewer and the history buff.

Mr. Lewis nails Lincoln so perfectly I felt I was there in 1865 ! the supporting players are also good, but where was his raspy Vice President Andrew Johnson ? would've like to see him in the movie even though I never liked him, there was no Extra's in my DVD, but with a movie like this there should had been tons of it.
