These are good looking small (5-port) data switches that get the job done. I really like the metal case for commercial use for its durability. I usually mount these on a wall. Just plug it in and that is it.

It’s great with the 1gb transfer rate for running all network. Its a easy plug and place for those who wonder if it needs to be programmed (unmanaged).

It's perfect. We wanted a wired network connection in a top floor room. I only had to run one network cable. Once I got the wire to the room, I connected it to this switch. I was then able to connect four devices. They just worked. Could not have been easier. Very inexpensive and a heck of a lot easier than running 4 or 5 network cables up through the walls. I bought a second one and did the same thing in my basement home office.

Purchased this item for my son who is a cyber security major. He has multiple systems hooked up to his school wifi/ethernet. His school has given him extra usage, but he still goes over hosting game lobbies and running all of his other systems. He loves being able to transfer internet usage quickly and easily.

BEST THING EVER I just needed an extra port for my home office phone since it works only with the internet and I was able to connect my wifi ext. to this and now I can use my desktop and phone with NO ISSUES.

I've had this now since April 16, 2019 and it's now June 25, 2019. Port number 1 has already died. The light doesn't come on and no connectivity. I got a blinking orange light for a second and then nothing after. The quality is nice but this was a BIG disappointment. This is only my second Linksys product and will definitely be my last. I have the 8 port of this model and so far has worked fine. Be wary when purchasing. This product was purchased online and was picked up in store. P.S. keep the receipt, especially the electronic version for later.

This is my second one. The first I bought works well. I had another location I needed another so I bought the same brand and model again. I’ve had no problems with either and I would recommend it if you needed one.
