Using this device for a desktop computer that sits one floor up and one room away from the main router. WiFi connection is fast and stable, and works as well as any of the other WiFi-enabled devices in our home. Small form factor and easy to install and set up on windows 10 using the provided installation CD. I then updated drivers on the company website to be safe. Been using it for about a month with no problems.

WIFI went out on my laptop, so I picked this up at BB. Install was easy and low maintenance afterwards (just plug and go). My only criticism is that once plugged into your USB port it, you can't use the other usb port next to it (won't fit). So an extension usb cord here might help. I esp like knowing when I unplug the adapter my laptop is not internet or wifi connected anywhere. It really is offline.

Easy to use, easy to install, and perfect for a PC that needs an external WiFi adapter. All I did was plug it in and I was able to connect instantly, no downloads or installs needed. Fast speeds and great coverage. I would buy another if I needed to.

The setup was super fast and works awesome. No drop in WiFi and very fast surfing the web.

I used this to add wifi capability to my computer. Connections are solid and download speeds are fast. Setup was completely painless. Only weakness would be that it projects out pretty far and could get broken by bumping it. I use a short USB cable extension so that it is not mounted rigidly. It should be much safer that way.

I bought this for an old computer at work and the set up was easy enough and after that all I have to do is put it in a USB port and then it will pick up a wifi signal without any problems. The con is that I think it is too big. it is bigger than an average pen drive. On the other hand being that big helps me not to forget to remove it when I am going back home after work.

I have an older desk top computer that runs on an older platform but is still quite reliable that I like to use all the time; however, when we hooked up our new internet it was not connected directly so I had no internet access on it. What a disaster! This product allowed me to connect my older desk top to our wireless internet and saved me from having to buy a new computer! Love this product! Works flawlessly!

All of a sudden my HP desktop (6-7 years old) would not pick up the wifi in my home. Very long story short . . needed wifi adapter. You need to download a driver for this product, there is no disc included (this can be a problem when your PC doesn't pick up wifi in the first place!) I ended up downloading it onto my tablet then connecting the table to my PC. But the setup.exe file was not included in the download. Called Linksys support and Richard helped me, with great patience I might add! He was able to figure out a work around to get me what I needed and stayed on the phone with me (45 minutes) until it was working perfectly! Great product, even greater Linksys Customer Support! **One note ** if you call Linksys, the toll free number on their quick setup guide is incorrect.. it should be 800-326-7114 (otherwise you call a company offering to give you a life alert necklace!!) Purchased this to go with my new Asus RT-AC87R router. This is a match made in heaven. The Linksys plays very nice with this router. I am running this adapter on my current laptop which does not have AC speed natively. The performance is outstanding. My ISP is Comcast Blast at 50mps. Web pages load extremely fast and there is zero lag when watching YouTube, Netflix, etc. It is a bit large, but this can be forgiven due to its outstanding performance.

Bought this to replace a different brand that had shot craps after three years or so. I was concerned about compatibility issues with my existing equipment, but the installation could not have been easier or smoother. The installation disk walked you through it step by step. It was up and running in 30 seconds. It has been up and running pretty much non stop for a month or so. It doesn't seem to drop the signal at all. Absolutely no complaints.

This wifi adapter worked perfectly for my husband’s desktop when other WiFi adapters did not. We tried several other older adapters that did not work and using his phone as a hot spot wasn’t practical. This adapter has maintained connection at times when my laptop and tablet have not. Great price, works great

We just changed cable companies which increase our internet speed from 30 to 100 mbps!! My laptop of only a few years worked at 70mbps. So for a few dollars this was a great upgrade. Simple install and no problems--windows 10-- my internet speed increased 5 fold and able to use the 5ghz setting from my router.

Old PC in the basement was placed where the ethernet cable couldn't reach. After getting some BB Reward $$ this seemed like an easy way to rehook the old boy up. This works but every time I power up the PC I need to remove it and plug it back in. Simple set up, running XP, this thing is faster than what the old PC can handle. Decent purchase for $20.

Its a good product. good speed and eaay to connect. I wish it came wirh buikt in driver so that it would be plug n play device. currently you have to install driver from interner which isnt difficult but can be challenginf for people who dont have ethernet connected and are relying on wireless only.

I had to buy this for my parents. I moved their old computer away from the router. It didn't have built in wifi and running a cable wasn't an option. I plugged this adapter in, it installed itself and found the wifi without any problems. The range is good and it is a solid connection.

Easy to set up and excellent range and connection speed

This does great and I get my maximum speeds but about once or twice a month the speeds drop to incredibly low speeds; this is fixed by unplugging the device and then plugging it back in. Overall for the price this is a great product but if you do not want to go through the hassle of unplugging it then I would recommend buying a higher quality device.

Simple plug and play. I had a PC which could not be hardwired into router because of location in house. The AC1200 was easy plug and play. Works great, Fast access no issues. I would purchase again. In fact it works so good I had forgotten I had installed it. I remembered when I was asked by Best Buy to review it. LOL
